Life rhythm simple living close to nature!

The life rhythm in the cottage is basic, close to nature in a wonderful hiking and cycling area, in a large, nature-rich place: vegetable garden, newly created food forest, flower gardens & pond are ecologically managed. There are a few pets (dog, cat, chickens, walking duck, bees). The refrigerator is underground and the composting toilet an experience in itself. The whole is made as environmentally friendly as possible and an invitation to live simply while respecting nature. There's a wood stove.

From your chalet at park the "Keizerskroon" you can immediately go into nature for hiking, biking and mountain biking. There are no amenities at the park, but there are plenty of options nearby. Like; Enjoy a cozy terrace in e.g. Borger, Rolde and Grolloo(bleus city), various open-air museums. Westerbork memory center, or WILDLANDS in Emmen. Close to the Tree Crown Trail, the beautiful swimming lake the Nije Hemelriek and climbing park "Joy Time" . A little more away: Drouwenerzand amusement park.

Welkom in het bosrijke Exloo, gelegen op de Hondsrug in Drenthe. Wij wonen zelf in het monumentale treinstation van Exloo uit 1903, aan de NOLS spoorlijn, van Zwolle tot Delfzijl. deze spoorlijn is opgericht in 1899 en opgeheven in 1945. Deze spoorlijn is nu een mooi wandelpad! Naast ons huis staat een geheel vrijstaande en gloednieuw gerenoveerde woning van 2 verdiepingen met genoeg privacy en eigen ingang voor max. 6 pers. Er is gratis parkeerruimte, en een eigen terras in gehele privacy.

Beautiful holiday home with large bedroom and kitchen with cooking facilities and extractor. Also equipped with a fridge with freezer and oven/microwave. The attractive living room with rural style has a 2 x 2-person sofa and dining room table for 4 people. The living room has a wood-burning stove that can be used (wood bags available for €6.00 p/st). The house is of course equipped with internet and TV. There is a lockable bike shed with power connection ( charging e-Bike)

Ontdek onze knusse little green cabin in Borger, gelegen op loopafstand van het dorp en met een prachtig uitzicht over de Hondsrug. Overnacht in een charmante cabin met vrij uitzicht. Borger ligt vlakbij de bossen en heide, ideaal voor natuurliefhebbers en wandelaars! Verken de omgeving via diverse wandelroutes zoals het Pieterpad en het Drenthepad. Voor wandelaars is er vervoer beschikbaar. Op loopafstand vind je ook het Hunebed Museum, dat een bezoek zeker waard is.

In a unique location near the center of Emmen is apartment "De Uil". The luxury apartment is fully equipped, it is spacious and bright. You have a private shed for your bikes. Since April 2024, we have a large balcony with which you have beautiful views over the pond. There is also a picnic bench on the ground floor. Do you have an electric car? No problem. Enjoying nature comfortably

Located between Gees forestry and the Mantingerveld, with an unobstructed view over farmlands. Our farm was completely newly built in 2015, we live in the back house and the front house is furnished as a vacation home. 5 private parking spaces, a spacious garden with terrace where you can sit. 1 ground floor bedroom with en-suite bathroom, the other 4 bedrooms on the first floor with shared bathroom.

Camping Pod

Deze 2 persoons zeer knusse, gezellige “trekkershutten” zijn nieuw op onze camping. De Pods zijn voorzien van een eenvoudige keuken met onder andere een koelkastje, kookplaat, bestek enz. De Pods zijn niet voorzien van stromend water, hiervoor kunt u de sanitaire voorzieningen van de camping gebruiken.

Wonderful get away from it all and enjoy a cozy comfortable guest house in the nature of Drenthe. Perfect for hikers, cyclists or to grab a terrace in nearby Borger. You can also use our private podsauna with outdoor shower for a fee. Relaxing for a while!
