It was a wonderfully nostalgic time staying in a neighborhood I grew up in. I just love blocks lined with beautiful brownstones with their own unique aesthetic while somehow also blending together. Ellen was a kind, caring and accessible host. I always enjoy staying in spaces that have attractive art pieces on display. I also enjoyed a convenient commute and plenty of food options to choose from.

I’ve stayed at this place before and was happy to see it was available for me to stay again. It is very clean and Michael is quite hospitable. Will absolutely book here again.

I stayed in the small room and only went there to get a good night sleep. The two other rooms were rented out as well but I barely saw the others and we didn't have the same bathroom times - which was convenient. I enjoyed my stay in NYC and the little room at Tash's place was all I needed for my nights at the apartment.

I feel so lucky to find Andrew/Adriana’s for my stay in Brooklyn! Hosts are very responsive and I really loved the room. It is spacious, cozy and even more well decorated than pictures. Many things that guests (might) need are there and you’d notice right away how experienced and considerate the hosts are! Adriana is so knowledgeable about the neighborhood and I wish I had more time to explore options in the guidebook. It is not right next to tourist places but I loved the chance to look around the neighborhood and there are a lot of good places in walkable distance. And if you are using public transportation, it is so close from station and easy to find! If you have too many late night schedules, then it might not be the best place as the neighborhood is pretty quite but for that reason it was the best place to take quiet rest when you come back from schedule. Highly recommend for those looking for cozy space in this area! Thanks so much Adriana/Andrew:)

Edgar’s place is wonderful and his level of hospitality is excellent. He’s proactive and a fast communicator — always happy to help and ensure your commute to the stay is stress-free. The room is spacious and offers good amenities like an iron board and cozy comforters. You’ll also get a warm welcome from his cat, the friendliest cat ever. I definitely recommend this stay! You’ll be able to enjoy your NYC trip without a worry about your belongings. 🙂

Fantastic place with excellent public transport connections! I took the train from Boston to New York and stayed for one night to see a Broadway show. I really appreciated the smooth connection between midtown Manhattan and the apartment, which is just a 1-minute walk from the C train station. The apartment was super clean and quiet, with tidy bathrooms, a spacious kitchen, and a lovely backyard. I found everything I needed. Trey and Tammie were proactive, friendly, and very helpful in their communication. And the price is unbeatable! I’d absolutely stay here again on my next visit to NY.

Wayne was such an amazing host and the room was perfect! Looked just like the pictures- maybe even better. I stayed with a friend and the space was comfortable for us, even with the pullout bed out. It was quiet at night too. I had thought that our checkout time was at 2 instead of 11, and Wayne let us keep our bags in the air b&b until then. I had questions about the lock mechanism and he responded right away and included a video for further clarity. Super quick response and communication was great. Overall, I felt right at home and looked forward to being back after long days in the city. This location is deep in Brooklyn. If you don’t mind about a 45 min commute to the more touristy areas of nyc, I’d say this is DEFINITELY worth booking.

Nice, relatively quiet/peaceful Brooklyn neighborhood, easy to park on the street and close to several train lines. Enough space for two couples (if you’re close friends - the murphy bed is in between the back bedroom and the bathroom) or a small family, with a cute little back patio seating area. Sean was especially nice and made check in, etc. super easy. Recommend Before Coffee down the street and the Northern Italian restaurant Testo right next door.

We had a brilliant time. The local information and recommendations for restaurants were fantastic. We loved coming back to the apartment after a day exploring!

India’s place is charming, clean, and in a great location. It was a great home base for our visit to NYC. India is kind and communicative, making for an easy bnb rental experience. I highly recommend!

This place is hands down, one of the best Airbnbs that I’ve ever stayed in. The apartment was easy to find and looked just like the pictures. The unit is ground level however it is very quiet and you feel very safe. Everything was spotless and you can tell that Elgha takes great care of her property. Elgha is extremely responsive and very friendly. I highly recommend this place. I can’t wait to come back.

Wow! This was our favorite stay in Brooklyn ever. Yang and Su went above and beyond — they were flexible with check in and the place had incredible amenities. They thought of everything — from games, beverages and snacks to house slippers and phone chargers. We gel right at home and didn’t want to leave. We both felt relaxed and peaceful as well as right in the midst of everything in Park Slope, close to Prospect Park and subway. We’ll definitely stay again when we’re in BK!

A very cute home! It’s just like home and so cozy. Extremely clean. And OMG we love the shower lol. It’s not too far from the city. We went to the Governs Ball which we definitely recommend!! Really close to the subways and other transportation. Hosts were very friendly and responsive!

We had a very nice stay in Lindas apartment. It was comfortable and beautiful at the same time! Linda was easy to access when needed - and very welcoming. She provided useful information about things to do, restaurants etc. nearby which was an excellent way to Bedford-Stuyvesant. We would definitely like to return! Nika & Åsa

An excellent place to stay in Harlem, centrally located near the 125th street subway station. You can easily get anywhere you want to go quick and easy. Lots of good restaurants nearby, along with bodegas and a (albeit expensive) grocery store. Its nice that the owners live on site, and they were very helpful and friendly. Having a big tub with jets in the room is a huge bonus if you aren't used to the amount of walking you are in for in NY. I'll definitely be back!

Everything about this apartment was excellent. Locale, layout, spotless. Couldn't get enough of both the daytime and nighttime views. Steven was an excellent host. Communicative, answered my myriad of questions, provided recommendations for a great nearby grocery and wine store that we frequented several times. Easy to get a taxi and a short walk to the subway. Started to feel like a local after just a day or so! This will for sure be our go-to place next time we visit NYC.

Nicely renovated basement apartment. Ben was a wonderful host and made our stay comfortable. Kitchen had everything that we needed and having a designated parking spot was great. It is a short walk away from the apartment. Backyard was ideal has we were traveling with our dog. Location was perfect for our event at Liberty State Park. Would recommend if you plan to visit Jersey City.

Reynold's place is exactly what we were looking for given the itinerary my group had planned. It definitely had a taste of the residential community feel, and the property/amenities all complimented our stay and requirements. Felt very safe, peaceful and just at home -- yet a few minutes away from local deli shops and groceries. Plus Reynold keeps the place very well kept and stocked. Highly recommended for people with multiple days staying in the area. 👌

This was exactly what we needed for a quick visit to visit Stamford! It was easy to check in and plenty of room for 2 families with young kids. The backyard is private and fenced in for early morning coffee and dinner. The location is very close to a park with playground and it was easy to get to 95. Would definitely stay again!

My sister and I had a short overnight stay and we absolutely loved it! It’s such a cute place. It was just as described and perfect for the night. The host was very quick and responsive to our inquiries. The building is very easy to find and we felt safe with security in the building. The neighborhood is nice. The day of check out we walked around and ate at a local restaurants. We definitely will be back and recommend!

The view is priceless. By day, by night, anytime. The apartment itself is great, too: spacious, well furnished, a huge kitchen, perfectly equipped. Less than 20 minutes by bus to Times Square, but located in a calm and safe neighborhood across the Hudson River. For some, the steps up to the fifth floor might be an impediment, but that’s really the only issue I could think of. Absolute recommendation!
