Family-friendly holiday rentals in Buddittogliu Straulas

We really liked the apartment, very central and with everything available. It allowed us to enjoy the village of Maddalena to the fullest. The air conditioning system worked very well (very important). The complete and essential decor, pots and dishes in abundance, spacious and functionally furnished bedrooms. The terrace is very large with a partial view of the port (but which was not important to us) with a large table and chairs to be able to eat outdoors. It overlooks a street with moderate traffic. There is no parking but we were able to use the free public parking almost always, with a walk back through the country always very pleasant. Alternatively, paid parking for 1 euro per hour. Communication with the owners was great and fast, we received all the answers to our questions of ordinary administration. I also recommend sailing trips!

Lovely house which was very nice and clean. Francesco was very welcoming. Fantastic views from the roof terrace, you would ideally need to rent or own a car to get to the town or beach as this is approximately 5 minutes drive away. The town has plenty of restaurants to chose from and La Cinta beach was stunning, very crowded in August but if you walk further up the beach you can easily find plenty of space. Would highly recommend this accommodation and location.

The absolute perfect stay for a beach vacation. The house is about a 5 minute walk to a really nice, not packed, beach. You can also walk into town in about 10 minutes with lots of restaurants and grocery stores. The home itself was gorgeous, great bathroom, wonderful kitchen, and lots of shades if you want to sleep in. The view from the living room was breathtaking. One of the best stays I have ever been to!

We really enjoyed our stay, the villa was perfect for us and the views are outstanding. As it was earlier in the season, the pool and the hot tub were not available but that did not concern us. Communication with Lorenzo and his team was really good and his colleague David cheerfully waited for us even though our flight was 2 hours later than expected and it was 9pm. This villa is not near amenities (shops, restaurants etc) so a car is definitely needed. There are also steps up to the villa and inside it, that may be difficult for people with limited mobility. Overall it was a lovely week for us.

Really beautiful stay, spacious and clean

We had a wonderful stay in beautiful Porto Rotondo! The pool was such a hit with our daughter that it was difficult to pull her away from it so that we could go venture out to some of the stunning nearby beaches! Beautiful property with tons of private, quiet outdoor space. Gorgeous sunsets. Awesome being so close to the Seawall which is a nice walk and leads to many restaurants. Grocery stores nearby as well. Was great to have en suites for all bedrooms. Comfortable space for our family which was four adults and two young children. Thank you Alessandro!

The spacious house with high ceilings is located in a fragrant herb and olive grove with the beautiful opportunity to feed animals, which our children loved. The terrace offers plenty of space to relax, the rear terrace even has a pool, which fascinated the children. Gabriele is a great host, communication was easy. We recommend the stay 100% and will gladly come back. Thank you

Maria was a wonderful host and her cottages were lovely, surrounded by the most stunning, picturesque views. Her communication and response throughout our stay was faultless. She provided local recommendations and things to do, and did not hesitate to keep in touch regarding an air con issue which occurred prior to our stay. We were lucky enough to be hosted in her second cottage whilst the issue was sorted. Both the cottages were clean and spacious, fully equipped and perfect for a relaxing stay. We are very grateful for our stay with Maria and all she did to host us. We will for sure recommend this stay to family and friends.

Enrico was a lovely host. He said to always ask him for beach recommendations so he could recommend something based on the direction of the wind and he never missed! He was also very helpful with any other sort of local recommendations for restaurants or other things to do, and unerringly friendly. He lives above the guest house, but it's very private. The location is absolutely stunning, the pool is even better than the picture, the garden is absolutely teeming with life. We were there in May, so it was full of flowers, butterflies, dragonflies, and frogs in the pool. We were also visited daily by the two dogs who live on the property. We had a wonderful time. Spectacular stay, immersed in the Gallura countryside, in the garden of the house tall oak trees, shady, and a beautiful swimming pool to cool off in the absence of a nearby beach. We had the very pleasant company of two kittens, polite and affectionate, and as night fell, a curious but discreet land hedgehog visited us. Very fresh house inside, a pleasant surprise for the summer that is beginning. Unexpected comfort in a country house: the dishwasher! It saved us from tedious post-dinner chores. Comfortable beds, a large bathroom with a washing machine, and a spacious and bright dining room. And surprise... free wifi! We thank Antonio for the pleasant weekend and we will be back!

The Host Elena, Bruno and Ali are wonderful people. The Accommodation is clean and well maintained. Wild Peacocks and Turtles live in the garden. It’s an oasis of calmness and peace with a nice large pool perfectly fitted into the natural environment. Overall it’s a very warm and familiar experience and located well in regards of short ways to the airport, calm beaches, nice restaurants and shopping facilities. A very special moment was when our hosts showed up in the morning on our terrace to sing a birthday song for our 2 little daughters. What a nice and lovely gesture. For sure we will come back.

We had an amazing time at Francesca’s place. It was such a beautiful home and surroundings, and she had lots of good recommendations for things to do and eat in the area. Would love to come back!

We had a wonderful time in Enrica's apartment and were very warmly welcomed by Federico. We were able to check in a little earlier, which made it much easier for us to arrive with a toddler and baby, thank you again for that! The place is very nice, well equipped and we really enjoyed the small garden. The beach is a 10-minute walk away and also perfect for smaller children. At the last section of the beach we also had our dog with us, which seems no problem there. Often we were even alone there. Thank you again to Enrica, Rosa and Federico, we had a good time in Porto Istana!

Beautiful, very well equipped apartment. The terrace offers plenty of space to eat and relax, great views of the sea and the pool. The outdoor area is also lovingly designed and very well maintained. We felt completely comfortable. Elisabetta gave us valuable tips, thank you again. The location is very convenient for exploring the area.

Pina was the most wonderful & friendly host I’ve had! She was so thoughtful and made sure we were enjoying ourselves. Her house was amazing, with the most brilliant view, the pool was such a treat & we had everything we needed. We all had such a fabulous time & will absolutely be back!

We stayed in Italo’s place for two nights and we wish we could stay longer! The moment we arrived Italo greeted us in a friendly manner and provided a tour of the lovely apartment. Italo was super responsive and proactive when responding to our questions and we could not be more happier. The pictures do not do the place justice - excellent. It has everything you need to feel like home. We would highly recommend Italo’s place!

Wow, what a vacation we had. Everything was beyond expectations and our host was extremely responsive and helpful. The house was very nice and in order. Here we want to come back!

We stayed 3 nights in the accommodation and felt very comfortable with Angela. As a starting point to the many great beaches, Loiri is superbly located. We got great tips for beaches and activities. We were even booked a table at the Agriturismo Tenuta Oster Maria (it was actually fully booked on the site). It was a great experience. The pool looked very inviting. Unfortunately, we did not use it, as we were on the beach most of the time. Our highlight in the accommodation was the great and loving breakfast from Angela. She is incredibly friendly and accommodating.

We had a wonderful stay in Sardinia in an absolutely superb house nestled in a pretty flowery residence. Fully equipped and decorated with originality and taste by the owner's father, who was a famous artist in the region. Quality bedding in the 3 bedrooms Beautiful view of the sea and the pool from the terrace. A huge thank you to the owners, who were remarkably kind and available. Welcoming, attentive and always ready to share their good addresses or to help, they largely contributed to making our stay unforgettable. We'll be happy to go back!

We had the best week at this home near Cala Gonone. The hosts we're very friendly and gave us some great local recommendations. We stayed in June during a heat wave and the house stays cool in the evenings with the breeze and beautiful surroundings. Everything is easily accessible by car.

Idyllic setting and very warm welcome from Costanza. We had a great stay surrounded by geese, donkeys, little goats and the absolute calm of the Sardinian countryside. A comfortable accommodation, delicious and more than hearty breakfasts, a swimming pool with stunning views...the casa delle fatte did not steal its name!
