Magnificent region of protected wilderness. Aurélia's little house is perfect, cute, and has kept an old-fashioned side from Grandpa Maurice's time while being perfectly equipped with modern comfort, nothing is missing. Excellent bedding. Despite the high temperatures, the house keeps cool (fan if needed). The outdoor space is ample and intimate, with shaded corners, and fully enclosed (perfect for dogs). You can park a car there or park a little further in front of Aurelia's dad's house. The house is less than 30 minutes from points of interest! Sublime lakes, ponds, rivers, streams, waterfalls, viewpoints (Mont Bessou, Monédières massif), magnificent forests, amazing abandoned village with granite sculptures, peat bogs, mills! Beautiful walks from the cottage! Aurélia is very nice, responsive. His dad is adorable, available, responsive and does not hesitate to share anecdotes about the country! Great value

I had a lovely two day stay in Nataly's home in Bugeat. I did three walking tours while I was there, all three were lovely. The house was beautiful and comfortable and exactly as advertised. I would absolutely go back if I am ever in the region for walking again.

Very good stay! The accommodation was as described, clean and well-equipped – there was everything you need on site. The proximity to the lake is a real plus, and the place is very quiet. Responsive and welcoming host. Recommended!

Beautiful quiet spot surrounded by lovely countryside, and only ten minutes from the pretty smll town of Treignac, with supermarket, cafes, boulangerie etc. Great walks nearby too (I recommend the Cascades at Laval, and the Pierre des Druides). The hoiuse has just been refurbished, and it's spotless, and Nadine and her husband are very friendly and helpful. They even gave me a huge bowl of freshly picked cherries! Great value for money too.
