Our detached house with attached apartment is in a nice location in the Drenthe village of Paterswolde where peace and nature go hand in hand. 10 minutes by car and 20 minutes by bike from the city of Groningen. At walking distance there is an outdoor swimming pool, hiking forest Vosbergen and beautiful estates such as "the Braak" & "Vennebroek". Here you can go hiking and biking. The Paterswoldsemeer is a beautiful sailing lake with islets and cycling routes all around. Exclusive breakfast. You are warmly welcome!

Our log cabin Klein Meerzicht offers comfortable accommodation overlooking the meadows and the Paterswoldsemeer. The space is modernly decorated and has a bathroom with shower and toilet. There is 1 bedroom with a double bed, and in the living room, there is a double sofa bed. There is also WiFi, smart TV, air conditioning and electric heating. Groningen city center is 20 minutes by bike. P+R A28 (transfer/bus station) within walking distance. Train station also in Haren Shops nearby. Supermarket 1000 meters away.

In the living room, you can watch TV + Netflix, and there is a dining table where you can eat, work or play games. The luxurious bathroom has a rain shower.

The whole is made as environmentally friendly as possible and an invitation to live simply while respecting nature. There is a wood-burning stove.

You can use our large natural garden behind the house. It is wonderful to sit by the pond with the storks in the background.

De zonsondergang kleurt de lucht terwijl vogels zingen. Struin door het weiland en spot wilde dieren. Een plek om gewoon te 'zijn', weg van de drukte. Welcome to Donderen, a nice village located in the head of Drenthe. Close to the cities of Groningen and Assen (both about 15 to 20 minutes drive), Eelde airport (about 10 minutes drive), the cozy villages of Norg and Zuidlaren, National Park Drentse AA and nature reserve Noordscheveld. Ideal base for cycling and hiking trips. The accommodation is less accessible by public transport.
