Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Buskerud

We had a very nice stay in Rødtangen. We stayed for four weeks in the beautiful little house with a large terrace and a beautiful view of the fjord. Mette and Mike are kind people. They are easy to communicate with. Everything is well arranged. We can recommend it. Greetings, Peter and Mieke

Very lovely stay, hope to come back one day ! The house is really magical and everything was as clean and functional. The water has a bit of a taste, like some other guests noted, so we brought a few bottles with us just for drinking and it was no problem. Bente left us some delicious home-made biscuits for our arrival. It was easy to access and park. It snowed a lot, but everything was regularly plowed. Thank you for everything !

I was there for 5 weeks. The view is very nice and you have your privacy. On foot you can get to a large shopping center quite quickly, there is everything your heart desires. In general, you can get by very well on foot. I didn't test the public transport. The host is very friendly and easy to talk to. He had offered to take me on a hike, which I also enjoyed. He gave plenty of tips on what to do in the area but also tips for longer trips. All in all, a very great 5 weeks.

We had such a lovely stay at Bruvoll Feriehus - the home is very cosy with all the amenities for a relaxing, peaceful stay in this beautiful area of Norway. We found the home clean and comfortable. Annike was always friendly and quick to respond to our questions. Check in and out were both easy with clear instructions.

Lovely old farmhouse, we had an amazing stay!

We loved the opportunity to stay in an authentic Norwegian cabin that was at least 250 years old. From outside it looks like a modest cabin but opens to a spacious and warm living room and dining area. The kitchen is modern and well equipped and there is a good shower. The two upstairs bedrooms, one opens to the kitchen, had great views of the mountains and very comfortable beds. Great venue to visit Flam, Borgund and Urnes Stave churches or to hike. The farmers market at Laerdal was excellent.

Anne was very kind and helpful. I can’t recommend this place enough :)

We were four ladies who lived in Anne Marie's barn for a week while we were on a course at Rauland Academy. The Academy is just a short walk from the barn, it is a short walk to the shops, the house was super cozy and the host responded quickly to our questions. I highly recommend a stay in the barn.

Lovely, peaceful place to stay with a beautiful garden, conveniently located. The best part for us was the very friendly dog and cat :)

Hilde is a great host with great communication. Apartment was perfect for a quick night stay for our family of 4. Sofias restaurant was a great recommendation for a good meal within walking distance.

The accommodation at Peter's was very nice, nicely furnished. We had everything we needed. We would stay again in a heartbeat.

Clear check in instructions and the place was exactly as described. Very close to Drammen city center. It was a nice experience for me and my family, thanks ☺️

We spent three days with our dog in the accommodation and felt very comfortable. The location was great, the view was great and it was pleasantly quiet - perfect for relaxing. The place itself was clean, cozy, and well appointed. Hikes were not far away and ideally accessible, which made the stay with a dog particularly pleasant. We would come back anytime!

The place was as described. Very lovingly and cozily furnished and the view is very nice. If you arrive by car, the accommodation is good. Communication before and during the stay was also friendly and fast. Highly recommended !

Cousy place best suited for two I think. Four would be a quite tight fit. Well equipped apartment and comfortable bed. Shared facilities are good. Nice and friendly host. Easy access and 5min drive to Hemsedal. Close to hiking trails. Only downside if your easily disturbed is that the road is just outside and traffic is quite continuous also early and late. Kiwi grocery store open 7-23 (9-21) on the other side of the road.

We love Ole and his wife's place! After I was there once in October last year, I really wanted to come back this year, this time together with my partner. We felt very comfortable in the accommodation again! It is extremely stylishly furnished, very clean and very well equipped. We also like the location very much - you have a wonderful view of a lot of nature and at the same time you can get to the city quite quickly. Ole and his wife are also very, very friendly hosts! We had a hectic weekend with confirmation and mountain hikes, and were not in the apartment much. But, when we were there, we needed a place where we could really relax, and we could do that here. Lovely with high windows, airy rooms and tidy and clean apartment. Thank you very much to the great hosts who gave us good instructions so we almost didn't have to think for ourselves :)

The second time I rent from Tsega, the best airbnb in Notodden is highly recommended! Tsega is incredibly nice to help. Good bed and large living room with nice to clean kitchen and bathroom on display with everything you might need 😍😍

Very nice place with all amenities you might need for a long stay (although ours was unfortunately rather short). Cleanliness is the main winning point for us.

Warm, neat, cozy and delicious beds are keywords for this little gem. Unfortunately, the ski slopes were gone for this year, but the children's slope at the alpine cover was open. In addition, a fun nature trail below Høgevarde, which we took on foot. Here it is fun for small and big!

Bente has always communicated in a timely and friendly manner. On arrival she greeted us and gave us local recommendations. She made us feel like at home. It has been a wonderful stay at her place
