Glückstadt, the gem on the Elbe, is centrally located in Schleswig-Holstein. From here, both the North Sea and the Baltic Sea, as well as the Hamburg metropolitan region, can be reached in a short time. Among other things, Glückstadt is located on the Elbe Cycle Route as well as on the Mönchsweg and is also a worthwhile vacation destination for cycling tourists. Our apartment is located outside the city center. On foot you can reach it in about 20 minutes along the idyllic Fleth to the harbor, the jetty, the dike or the market square.

Our natural old house is located between Bremerhaven and Cuxhaven at sea level, in the UNESCO World Heritage Site Wadden Sea with typical shrimp cutter harbors. A place for rest and relaxation. Our family house, which is over 100 years old, was pragmatically renovated and furnished to our taste in 2017 in the former stable area. Large old monastery first row by the sea - sauna, fireplace

The old nave « monastery » was built as the 8th house built in Ording and used to be a parsonage, school and poor house. It's been freshly restored. The house may be nice, but the location is even better. 150 meters from the official beach entrance, the best beach section and yet quite quiet. Large bedroom with bathroom, ship room with 4 alcoves and normal-sized beds, large sauna in private area and 2 more bathrooms, beach chair, fireplace, large garden. Let your mind wander…
