Welcome to the Ilmtal We rent our quietly located holiday home on the Ilmtal Cycling Trail. On 80 m² you will find a fully equipped kitchen, living room, bathroom, as well as 3 bedrooms on the first floor. A small garden with terrace and grill is also included. From Nauendorf near Apolda to Jena it is about half an hour by car, the same to the former cultural capital of Weimar. The climatic health resort of Bad Sulza, with brine, thermal baths and spa clinic, is only 15 minutes away by bus or car.

Our German-American family would be so pleased to invite you into our home. Our charming, 200-year-old guest house is just a few minutes away from the historic town of Weimar. Home to Goethe and Schiller, Bauhaus and rich with culture, there is so much to see and do in this area. We have lovingly renovated our little cottage, framed by roses and furnished with antiques, melding the old-world with a touch of the modern. We hope that each of our guests feels at home.

If you want to explore the Old Town, with our many sights, then it is only about a 10-minute walk. But you can also take the tram. The stop is practically at your doorstep.

The lovingly renovated and furnished apartment is located in an old building in one of the most beautiful areas of Weimar. The apartment has 2 rooms, hallway, kitchen and bathroom. It is located in the attic of the house overlooking Weimar. The centrally located Goethe House and the cozy cafés are about a 7-minute walk away. The historic cemetery is just 2 minutes away. The trendy neighborhood, with pubs and small shops, is just a few minutes' walk away.

House overlooking Weimar, far from the hustle and bustle of the city. In our small lovingly designed brick house, right by the vineyard, in our large park-like private property you can relax. The day can start with a breakfast and a good cup of coffee, for example at sunrise on the terrace with magnificent distant views. The bedroom with large double bed is located upstairs in the gallery. Our farm dog Cleo is well-behaved and joyfully welcomes all guests.

A separate entrance leads to the living room/kitchen, a large living room/bedroom and the bathroom. A sliding door can be closed to the kitchen. The garden can be fully used, various seating areas invite you to relax. There are two beautiful cycling paths to Weimar.

Our apartment is located in Rastenberg near Weimar. The property is located in the immediate vicinity of the forest and is an ideal starting point for hiking trips and long walks. In summer, the listed forest swimming pool invites you to relax and linger. The shops serving everyday needs (bakery, food, post office, hairdresser, pharmacy, gas station) are within walking distance.

The whole group will enjoy easy access to everything from this centrally located place. It is in the immediate vicinity of the city center, but also a large park. The town of Apolda is only a few kilometers from Weimar, Jena, Bad Sulza or Naumburg. We hosts live in a house on the same property and are happy to help you with “advice and assistance.”
