We had a great stay at Toes in the Sand. It was even better than pictured. I was originally worried from the photos that maybe you couldn’t see the ocean from the main living floor, but you absolutely can see the ocean from nearly everywhere in the house. It’s lovely. Such a charming house, quiet, beautiful beach, and near enough to groceries, gas, and anything else you’d need. Also, had a great Oceanside dinner at Fish Heads <30 min north! This home is really fantastic. The location is ideal for access to the ORV ramps at Cape Hatteras as well as other points of interest. It's super convenient to get to the grocery store and several great restaurants. The neighborhood is so lovely and walkable. We did not utilize the pool as it was early in the season / cold outside but it looks wonderful. Plenty of room to spread out and enjoy the indoors and so many great spaces to sit outside and enjoy the peaceful getaway. We would definitely choose to stay here again. Traveled with another family - three kids - everyone had plenty of room and a great time.

We had a great three night stay, my three adult children and I. The beach was surprisingly almost ours to ourselves. For an older traditional OBX house, it was well updated and very well appointed. The central floor plan is very open. I love it when you can be in the kitchen cooking while talking to everybody in the living area and those around the dinner table at the same time. Awesome view of the ocean off the back deck. We sat in the hot tub and still see the ocean. Im sometimes leary of hot tubs at the beach, a lot of times they are not well maintained. Danielle's was spotless and the water chemistry was perfect and safe. There was absolutely nothing we needed or any place where we needed to go that was not within a 5-minute drive. All of my family are fisherman. if you like to fish, there's not a better place to stay. getting from the house to the beach to surf fish takes less than a minute. we walked up to the OBX Pier several times to fish, probably less than a 5 minute walk.

This was our second year at Serene Retreat. It’s just such a wonderful place for young children to enjoy the beach. The fenced in yard is great for their outdoor play. We enjoy cooking in the fabulous kitchen and feasting at the table with a view. Better than any restaurant around! Thank you again.

We had a wonderful stay at Gia’s place. Place was exactly as described - very spacious home for our family of 10 to spread out. Ocean views from the second and 3rd floors. 5 minute walk to the beach - super convenient. Across the street from the Grocery Store - also very convenient. We didn’t have to use our vehicles at all. Would highly recommend, and would absolutely stay again!

Amazing house, great location and everything that was promised. The house was easy to access and Josh was very responsive to any questions we had. The house was beautiful and clean. The outdoor area and pool were great for relaxing and enjoying the weather. Quick walk to the beach. Would love to stay here again next year. Plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms. The house was spotless and perfectly maintained. Everything was just as promised in the listing.

I can't say enough positive things about Anthony or Diamond Shells. Beautiful beach front home. Do understand that, while the walk to the beach is very short, it is quite sloped - this is the case for every single beachfront home due to the topography. The house was absolutely perfect, and so was Anthony. Very responsive host and answered all questions very promptly and graciously.

Staying at Ryan's place was easy from start to finish. The house is located in an excellent location, two blocks to the beach, and adjacent to all things Avon. It's roomy enough, has great deck space, and is has fresh modern design. Clean, well appointed kitchen. Ryan was easy to communicate with and super helpful. We'll rent again here for sure!

This was a wonderful experience. We loved the well stocked kitchen and dog friendly house. No one complained, from adults down to teenagers :). Marsha and Steve gave some excellent recommendations for our first stay at Outer Banks. Teens/young adults loved the outdoor shower and mom loved the washer/dryer. The amount of outdoor furniture was impressive. Such a beautiful weekend! Beach is close enough to walk to and the chairs were very helpful. Thanks again!

We had a great week with the whole family in hotter otter house. Plenty of room to spread out. Lots of successful fishing and a short walk to the beach. Highly recommend! ⭐️

Great private location very close to the beach, and perfect for kids to play outside and ride bikes around safely! The pool was definitely not in walking distance, but worth a quick drive as it wasn’t ever too busy and a very nice place. Kids loved the outdoor shower and adults loved the porch seating. Host very responsive and friendly!

Hands down my favorite stay in the OBX, great location, perfect for my puppy, can walk to the beach, local convenience store/food. Host was amazing gave me great recommendations!

We had a great time at Sushma’s house. The kitchen was well stocked with spices and extras like dishwasher pods and trash bags. We also appreciated the availability of sand toys, boogie boards, beach umbrellas, pool floats and beach chairs. There were numerous decks to enjoy the sound side views. The house was spacious and very comfy. We split our time between the ocean, the pool, the sound side and even took the ferry to Ocracoke. Sushma was very responsive and a great host. We have rented from outer beaches realty in the past and this was a far superior experience.

Kalid's house Las Palmas was the perfect place for my family and I. The location is perfect for getting right onto the beach. This is the cleanest and most well kept house I've stayed at. I've stayed in the Outer Banks several times and this is the best experience we've had by far. Kalid and his property manager a very responsive to whatever you need and make sure your stay is the best it can be. If you plan to travel to Rodanthe and this place is available, book it right away!

Great house, location was fantastic, able to walk to beach dunes in a few minutes. Backyard is incredibly peaceful and serene. The jasmine, oleanders and willows make it so fragrant and mornings are full of birds. Furniture was all comfortable, beds too! Showers were great, including the outdoor shower.

Kite's Inn was exactly as advertised and more. The home is beautiful, well-furnished, and the kitchen was well-equipped. We loved the location with great views of the Pamlico Sound. The House was ideal for pets and small children. The grass yard allowed our dogs to play outside and to swim in the Sound without having to worry about stepping on burs and the beach was ideal for our 1 1/2 year old grand child. The house is easy walking distance to nearby attractions and restaurants. Joshua is a great host who was responsive and proactive with ideas when we had a rainy day.

This house was absolutely perfect! Not only was it exactly as pictured and described, but it felt very cozy, while still being spacious and offering lots of options. The location provided quick access to a beautiful beach, and a great ‘central’ location for day trips to Ocracoke, Pea Island, Nags Head and Hatteras, which gave our group great flexibility when people wanted to strike out on their own and then meet up later. Having the kayak and paddle board handy was nice for those who just wanted to relax and ‘chill’ for the day. We especially loved morning coffee on the back deck overlooking the sound, and being able to have dinner together on the huge screened in porch. The kitchen was extremely well-appointed which made meal prep a breeze. Communications with the host could not have been easier. We would definitely stay there again and highly recommend!

What a find! The house is beautiful. Dawn and Dave are great and very responsive. We had so much fun and felt right at home the entire time. We can't wait to be back! Don't miss the opportunity to stay at Pamlico Hound....you wont regret it.

We came to Rodanthe to relax and that’s exactly what we did. This is the only Airbnb in the Outer Banks that we’ve considered staying at again. This rental house was more like a home which is rare to find at the beach. So many thoughtful extras to make your stay more enjoyable. The outdoor shower was everything. I didn’t use the shower inside our whole stay. The hot tub was clean and heated up quickly. The master bed was very comfortable. We spent a lot of time on the deck talking, laughing, playing games, and enjoying the sounds of the ocean and the breeze. Beach access is right in front of the house which made for a very short walk back to use the bathroom or get a drink. I appreciated having just one flight of stairs to walk my senior dogs up and down to go to the bathroom. The host was very prompt getting back to me and answering all of my questions. We had a slight issue that was out of the host’s control but they did everything in their power to make it right.

We had a Wonderful stay in Hatteras at Wendy’s place. Right across the street from the ocean. Quiet neighborhood and all the locals are very friendly. Beds slept so comfortable! Would stay there again.

Our family had a great time visiting the outer banks and this beach home was the perfect getaway! Remote location which allowed a much needed relaxing trip. Quick walk or drive to the beach, beautiful views from the top roof deck and although quite a distance we did enjoy the drive up and down the coastline to visit other areas. This beach house was beautiful and had everything our family needed. You won’t be disappointed!

The house is beautiful, and the location perfect. It's so nice to be that close to the beach and watch the ocean while having a coffee on the deck in the morning. The house had everything we needed. Jennifer was very responsive and friendly. We just wish we didn't have to worry about towels and linens, it would have made our life easier, but we knew we would have to take care of that from the listing.
