Bed and breakfast holiday rentals in Calderdale

Irene’s home is very warm and beautiful, nicely themed house with her life experiences all over the world, it was beautiful chatting with her.A very friendly lady, accommodating me last minute, I was also offered a wonderful humble meal , would stay again in the future!

We used this as a base for a couple of days cycling and it was ideal. Fiona and James were very friendly. Everything was as expected. Short (but slightly muddy) walk to a pleasant pub serving good food.

We stayed for a wedding that was happening locally in Marsden. Flexible check-in made it nice and easy to drop our bags and get dressed before heading into Marsden. Taxi back from Marsden was only £7 and we walked back in the next day to get our car with a pavement running all the way into town. Accommodation was spotless, bed was comfy, shower was hot and powerful. Complimentary coffee and tea. Couldn’t find fault at all. We opted for breakfast the next morning at £15 per person. Included full English, toast & jams, tea/coffee and juice. Was very well cooked. Thank you 😀

We had a great stay and left feeling fully recharged, to complete our mountain bike trip on the Mary Towneley Loop. Pete is a helpful and kind host and we enjoyed his walkable suggestions for an evening meal and breakfast. We rehydrated well with the tea & coffee supplies, had a good shower, and slept well. It's a comfy big bed, in a large airy room that is quiet and clean. Excellent value and happy to recommend.

Beautiful location. Own parking area. Clean tidy rooms. Bathroom had a jacuzzi bath which was a god send after all the walks. Selection of cereal in room along with plenty of tea and coffee and a pint of milk in the fridge. Claire and Robbie were great hosts. Gave us a run down of Castleton and where to go. Friendly banter and made us feel very welcome. They were very responsive to anything we asked. Highly recommend this as a place to stay as it is accessible to so many walks including Mam Tor and Castleton has numerous pubs and restaurants to choose in such a small area so there is always somewhere to have refreshment and nourish after a walking day. Tina and Jasper were lovely hosts, very responsive and helpful for minor issues that occurred during our stay which they quickly resolved. The apartment was beautiful, clean and well equipped with everything we needed. The surrounding land is lovely and quiet, great for walks even in the rain! Highly recommended hosts and location. Would love to stay again!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay with Sian who is a wonderful host! We thoroughly enjoyed chatting with her about shared interests and the local area as she showed us around the beautiful and immaculately presented house (which is even better than the photos). Our room was spotless and beautifully furnished. Location was ideal, on the edge of the stunning village of Grassington surrounded by countryside, walks, swims and plenty of other attractions well placed nearby. Lovely sheltered and private spot, excellent breakfasts to set you up for your days adventures! We love it here and can't wait to come back! Thank you Sian!

The place was spotless, beautifully styled, and had every little touch that made it feel like a home away from home — and even breakfast included, we felt truly welcomed. It’s clear the host genuinely cares about their guests’ comfort and experience. I can’t recommend this place and this host enough. Jane was an incredible host and so hospitable. The breakfast in the morning was great and so were her suggestions for hikes and local spots. Would definitely love to stay again!

Really nice canalside location, great vibe inside. Andrew was a cracking host, and the breakfast was lovely, he was happy to cater for vegetarians. Comfy bed, great shower, and a formidable library of books for your pleasure. Lovely bloke, lovely place, will definitely visit again.

I really enjoyed my stay! Angela was very welcoming and friendly, and had great recommendations for my stay. The place was beautiful and was a good base for some amazing hikes.

We had a wonderful time staying in Hebden Bridge. Manya and her husband were so friendly and accommodating! The house is beautiful and our room was lovely and cosy. The breakfast prepared for us was super tasty! The location was perfect and easy to find. If we ever stay in the area again we will definitely come back to this b&b, and recommend to friends too!☺️

This was the perfect stay for a local wedding - the hosts were the friendliest and most accommodating of our arrival, plans and all requests we had during our stay. Would give 6 stars 🌟 for the hosts if this was possible as they couldn’t have been more friendly welcoming. The bacon sandwiches for breakfast were spot on and the bar in the pub was incredibly welcoming. The room was clean and had everything we needed, the bed was really comfortable as well. Great stay

The hosts were lovely. Very accommodating and couldn’t do enough to make our stay there comfortable. The rooms were clean and comfortable and we couldn’t fault them. Great location for access to local wedding venues. Thank you for such an enjoyable stay.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The White Swan! Di was super helpful and responsive, the room itself was lovely, very clean, full of amenities and bed super comfy. We also enjoyed a wonderful breakfast in the pub, they were even able to accommodate for my gluten allergy which I was grateful for. Would definitely recommend and would love to stay again ☺️

Claire was a wonderful host. She could not have been more welcoming, friendly and helpful. I had a lovely room, a comfortable bed and ensuite bathroom. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay with her and highly recommend her as a generous host.

It was a very pleasant experience staying here. Very clean & amenities provided. 1-2 min walk to convenient stores nearby. Would definitely stay here again!

Wendy has a beautiful home that she keeps in tip top shape. We had a great stay, especially with a dog. Wendy was very welcoming and left us to our own devices to explore the local area, with good driving distance to the Peaks.
