Hotel holiday rentals in Caledonian Canal

Well done CYP! Good value, great situation. Kitchen well serviced and maintained with everything you would need if self catering. Large dining area/social area if in a group. It’s a short walk into town for shops and restaurants. Would stay again.

The Boathouse Guest house was an ideal stop along our cycling tour of Scotland. It's located in the heart of town and not far from some beautiful walking trails and cycle route 7. Harry was a lovely host and made us an amazing breakfast! The room itself was very comfortable. A little dated, but well maintained and clean. Would love to visit again!

Very cozy room with extremely friendly host! The area is just so gorgeous and easy to find. I took a train here so it was very conveniently located. I left by ferry which was also very close. Just be prepared for many many stairs if you’re carrying a heavy suitcase. I managed just fine but probably would not be for everyone.

I stayed at Fiona’s place for a night during my road trip. She was a lovely host that took care of all the amenities to make my stay as comfortable as possible. Everything was exactly how it was described. In the morning, she made a delicious breakfast and I got to try her homemade jam. I’d happily stay here again anytime I’m in Beauly. Thank you!

Had a great stay! Martha was extremely kind and responsive prior to our trip, providing self-check in instructions and local recommendations. The place was peaceful and the room was clean. The lake was beautiful! We had some problems with the sink and water heater, but Martha responded quickly, even past 12am 😱🙏🏼 Although not having hot water for our first night was inconvenient, the issue was rectified the following day. The breakfast was absolutely delicious and the entire team was friendly and extremely hospitable, coming to check in on us and giving us recommendations throughout breakfast. Thank you for the great stay, hope to be back ❤️

We enjoyed our stay here and the staff was very friendly and easy to communicate with. The room was clean and tidy and beautifully renovated although the building itself was quite old. The location was very nice and it was easy to get to Skye and other nearby destinations. The bed and bedding were very comfortable and luxurious (feather pillows). A warm breakfast is ordered from the menu and it was very good. Only small annoyance were the small mosquitoes/midges which did get into our room on the second evening. However, it is probably difficult to do anything about these flying into the rooms in the summer due to their very small size. It is good to acknowledge that the walls are thin and the sounds from outside and other rooms can be quite easily heard.

We were part of a tour group but opted to book our own accommodations, and I’m so glad we did. Our stay at Balmacara Mains exceeded our expectations. We were immediately greeted in the drive upon arrival by Robin and shown to our 2 bedroom family suite with a stunning view. I had seen that laundry had been available for a small fee, but it was a pleasant surprise when Robin showed up at our door with a washed and folded load. Our rooms were quaint, well-maintained, and the beds were rather cozy. It was also favorable that a rainbow appeared over the waterfront view from our room. The owners were hospitable and provided tasty options for breakfast. We loved our stay and would definitely come back for a tranquil getaway.

Awesome place to stay. Great food and bar with some live entertainment while we were passing through for the night.

The Oaks has been a cute B&B. Everything has been super clean and there was quite a good snack and breakfast variety. Carly also made us some space to dry some of our clothes. Overall a lovely experience and a lovely host!

The hosts were friendly and helpful, the location quiet with great views over the lake. Off-street parking. If staying in Room 5 and ordering the Queen bed option, which comprises two singles pushed together, note that the beds do slide apart a little when slept on. Stores and pubs 5 minutes drive away. The local Highland Gathering held in August is great event to witness... Many thanks

This place is beautiful. The beds are comfortable and the place is clean. The bedrooms are on the 2nd and 3rd floor with a very thin, small staircase. Parking is convenient in front of the building. The location is very remote, with nothing in walking distance and difficult to get to/from the town, which I wish I had known prior to booking. However, we made the most of it and the house itself is beautiful and matches the photos.

This was such a great rental! It is in an excellent location for exploring the West Highlands, including north to Glencoe, south to Oban, or the incredible area around Appin, which you can view from the carriage. There is no detail untouched in the carriage, it was lovingly restored and turned into a great little vacation property. It has everything you need and more (including supplies for breakfast with fresh baked bread). Julie and her family were so hospitable. This property is new to this platform so there aren't many reviews, but you shouldn't hesitate, just book!

I had the most amazing experience staying at the Barn. the garden and surroundings are beautiful and perfect for enjoying walks. I also enjoyed wild swimming in the burn at the end of the garden. the barn is very comfortable and had everything I needed. I will definitely be back when circumstances allow.

Couldn’t fault my visit here. The host was very helpful and gave plenty of recommendations of things to do. The room was clean with a very comfy bed. The hot tub was very relaxing on the evening. The staff were very polite and helpful. The restaurant at the hotel was nice with a good selection of food. The views at the hotel are just fantastic, especially in the winter when you can see the snow on the mountains. Honestly couldn’t fault it and il be visiting again in the future. Thank you and recommend booking this place if you need a stress free get away.
