Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Caniço

My wife and I had an incredible stay here for our honeymoon. The view is absolutely stunning and makes you just stand and stare out into the valley in awe each day. You are close to nearby walks, shops and natural pools. As you are centrally located, nothing is too far away. The house is well equipped, easy to find and the hosts were very communicative and helpful throughout. We stayed in decent weather at the beginning of June and didnt need to use the heaters at all. Would absolutely recommend and we will be returning!

A big place at a very reasonable price, tucked away in a nice spot but still very close to amenities. I followed up on many of Monica's recommendations and they were all fantastic! If this place is available, I highly recommend booking it!

We just finished 2 magical days at Patricia’s home and cannot say enough incredible things of her place. The house itself is BEAUTIFUL, with an amazing pool and jaw dropping views. In addition to this she was so accommodating to us and made sure we were comfortable the entire time!!! Uber’s and Bolt’s are easy to call and extremely affordable. We did not want to leave and are already planning our next trip to her home!!

What a wonderful place to stay and for us perfect location to explore beautiful Madeira. 6 of us stayed for 1 week, the accommodation was perfect with various areas to spread out. We spent most of our evenings around the pool side, playing games and soaking up the views. The home has everything a family would need to enjoy your stay. Local shops, cafes and restaurants 10min walk up hill. Fully recommend if you are able to take a 1 day jeep tour of the island as Madeira has some spectacular scenery, valleys, mountains, villages and locations to explore. Contact with the host was effortless and always quick with responding. We loved our stay.

A lovely house that perfectly matched the description, Andreia was always there to help and answer any questions at any time. The house was spotless when arrived and everything we needed was available. Couldn’t recommend enough, lovely location too!

Pedro is the best thing about this place the man is a legend really kind and helpful goes over and beyond. The place is so nice pool is amazing with fantastic views. I can not fault the place. Over three floors we had 12 people in it and didn’t feel cramped. Book this place you will not regret it

Great place in a central location. Tidy and clean. We felt very comfortable immediately. Great amenities, including washing machine. Highly recommend! There's nothing wrong with this place! Organization very nice and friendly. Questions were answered immediately and therefore it cannot be! So five stars!

Wonderful place to stay, balcony was nice to sit and take in the beautiful ocean view! We had a larger vehicle, parking was tight because of that but Adriana and Dusan’s offered alternatives. Would definitely recommend!

Simply paradise! We felt super comfortable from the first moment. The accommodation is the best we've ever been to - perfect for switching off and letting your mind wander. Everything was super clean and furnished with a lot of love for detail. The garden and the pool are fantastically beautiful and offer absolute relaxation. Waking up in the morning with a view of the sea and the sound of the waves was simply priceless. The kitchen in the accommodation is well equipped – and cooking in the outdoor kitchen was a real highlight, there was really nothing missing. Communication was very warm and uncomplicated throughout. The accommodation is in a small, charming village with a few restaurants where you can eat wonderfully. You can enjoy fantastic sunsets on the beach - a real experience! There is also a small supermarket nearby for daily needs. We will definitely be back!

really nice place overloooking the sea. place had lots of amenities, especially for cooking! one thing though, the hot water in the shower runs out after a while so we couldn’t take long hot showers

Paula was very kind and responsive to any questions we had. The place was pristine and looked even better than the pictures on the posting. We were very happy with our stay and won’t hesitate to stay here again in the future. Amenities are close by and easily accessible. 10/10 a great stay in Madeira.

apartment overlooking the ocean with a window and terrace with a beautiful view. Clean and well-equipped (washing machine and dishwasher, kitchen utensils, toaster, hair dryer, ironing board...). The furniture is a little vintage but well-kept. The only thing that could be improved is the instructions to reach the apartment because they were unclear, and being night, they were difficult to follow in the dark. Highly recommended!

Thoroughly enjoyable week spent at Monika’s place. The apartment was clean, light, spacious and had all of the required amenities. The location was perfect for exploring the island; the area is much more relaxed, peaceful and chilled out compared to Funchal yet only a 10-15min drive from central Funchal. Host communication was brilliant and we took advantage of the car rental recommendation from the host which was also great! Apartment has a fantastic balcony area and we enjoyed sitting out in the early evening after a long day hiking with a beer. Some great local restaurants available too. Would definitely return.

Everything went wonderfully. Pedro was always easy to reach. The accommodation was very clean and true to the pictures. You have a beautiful view of the sea. The property is highly recommended.

Maria’s 8th-floor apartment was perfect! Super clean, spacious, and the balcony had amazing views of the marina, Santa Catarina park, and the city. It has two bedrooms — one with a double bed, the other with two singles — both with private bathrooms and closets. There are three bathrooms total, all spotless. The kitchen had everything, plus a dishwasher and coffee machine. Laura, who welcomed us, was so kind and helpful. She messaged me before arrival, arranged parking, explained everything in the apartment, and even brought us a big bottle of water and fresh coffee capsules the next day. She also gave great local tips. The building has great security and private parking. Honestly, the whole stay was smooth and comfortable. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Madeira — close to everything!

We stayed for a week with 4 people in a very nice apartment. We enjoyed the 2 bedrooms and 2 baths. Ideal for 2 couples. We highly recommend this clean and tastefully decorated accommodation. This condo was beautiful, clean, and had an amazing view. Plenty of seating, close to a grocery store and many restaurants. The infinity pool which looked over the ocean was lovely. We would definitely recommend.

We enjoyed the individuality of the apartment and the outdoor space . It is up a hill but all good exercise ! The bus stop for the ride to Monte Palace Gardens is close by and makes a lovely day out . Carlos is welcoming and the apartment is lovely and clean .

I consider my stay in Jennifer's apartment to be one of the best I have ever had. Our group felt very comfortable in the apartment, we had a lot of space and everyone could spend time freely. The view from the balcony was great, the view of the ocean and the surrounding banana plantations pleased our eyes. We prepared meals ourselves in the kitchen, which was fully equipped and there was a lot of dishes and cutlery. In the room with a grill and billiards, we had a great time in the evenings, everyone found something for themselves ;) I highly recommend staying with Jennifer, the best option you can find on the island. Greetings and I wish all new guests a wonderful time on this beautiful island
