Holiday rentals with a pool in Caparica

Mauricio and Co were very helpful in accommodating me and my friends when we visited, the property was in a nice neighbourhood and the house itself was amazing inside and out. Would recommend if you’re looking to visit Lisbon.

The property might lack kerb appeal from the front but the private outdoor space at the rear, with lovely views and with the bonus of a lovely small pool to cool off in on hot days is fabulous The accommodation itself was well equipped and a good size and also remained lovely and cool, no matter how hot it was outside. The location is good and you can walk down to the beach and many restaurants in about 10/15 minutes, although be prepared for a lot of stairs on the walk back up. Would definitely recommend.

we chose this superb house to spend a stay, my wife and I with a friend, her son and daughter-in-law. Ideally located, the photos of the listing speak for themselves. The living room is very comfortable, the kitchen is perfectly equipped, nothing missing. The BBQ is very good quality. The pool is nice and the ocean view and sunset are simply breathtaking. You are greeted by the hosts who give you the owner's tour and finally tell you that you are at home before leaving you. Lurdes and Luis are charming. They come every three days at the end of the day to water the vegetation, take out the trash, and maintain the pool. This is done very quickly and it is possible to exchange a lot of information with them. They speak French very well. The beaches within a ten-minute drive are beautiful. We'll definitely be back.

A very nice house with a nice swimming pool. A minute or 10 drive from the beach and a small half hour to the center of Lisbon. The owner is easily accessible and answers all the questions you have and can also give all kinds of tips on what to do.

If you want a real local Sintra experience then this is your place. Charming house with a lot of character, charm and history. We were a group of 6 and cooked in for dinner 2 of the three nights. Very close to town center for walking. It’s a very hilly town so if you like walking it’s great for you. Maria could not have been nicer.

François’ place was super relaxing and very comfortable. It was well situated for exploring Lisbon and surrounding area by car and only 20 minutes from the beach. It’s just like the pictures and he is a very responsive and helpful host. I strongly recommend as one of the best places I’ve stayed.

This was by far the best Airbnb we stayed in during our two weeks in Portugal. The space is so incredibly clean and beautiful. Like a little slice of paradise, with a sea view!! The hosts even provided snacks and beverages upon arrival. We felt very comfortable the entire time. Although the family lives on the property, they were quiet and friendly and made us feel very welcome. My only complaint is you have to communicate through a third party and they require an exact arrival time and they aren’t quick with replying to questions. I prefer to book self check-ins on Airbnb so we can take our time to travel around the country at leisure and not feel stressed about arriving at an exact time, but the third party company required an exact arrival time. So I found that a bit annoying. But the hosts themselves, who live on the property were lovely to communicate with. Highly recommend this space! 10/10

Carla's house is simply spectacular, exactly like the photos, cozy, super clean, extremely equipped with everything we needed. Carla was super attentive since our first contact, always willing to help with whatever was needed, always available to answer questions! My family and I loved staying at her house and we will definitely stay there again when we return to Portugal! Thank you for everything Carla.

The apartment is complete and very clean. The pool is also clean. It is a pity that there are no loungers available. A berth in the grass. For a stay for a city trip, it is definitely recommended. Within walking distance of the Belem district and 20 minutes by tram to the city center. You will definitely not find such a nice apartment there. I would recommend the apartment to everyone.

Maria was a responsive friendly host and has a beautiful spacious 2 bedroom appartment situated about a 15 min walk downhill to both the Marina & town of Cascais. The walk back up is very manageable unless you have mobility issues but there are scooters you can hire if you wish. It comes with an underground car park space too. Showers and all facilities worked fine and the TV is a Smart TV so you can access Netflix, Youtube etc. We found the Pool area to be lovely but not used much at all. There -are 2 supermarkets nearby -the smaller & closer one (5 mins away opens 8-8pm apart from Sund (8-1pm). Cascais is sublime -sandy clean beaches, great restaurants (try the Marina area too) and friendly people. It has a lovely vibe, If staying here -Sintra is a must (but book Palace beforehand) & Lisbon is worth a visit (1 day is plenty -go by Uber (€15) & return by Train (€5)) . Loads of great golf in the area too.

The apartment is perfect for a visit to Lisbon in the summer. Having access to the pool after the long hilly walks makes it a great place to stay. The apartment was well located to walk for food/drink etc . It is up a hill but so is most of Lisbon. Apartment had everything we needed and Natacha was extremely helpful. Would definitely recommend.

I had a wonderful stay at this apartment in Lisbon! From the very beginning, communication with the host was smooth, friendly, and welcoming – always helpful and responsive. The apartment itself is spotless, very well-maintained, and exactly as described in the listing. It’s beautifully decorated, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The location is perfect – peaceful and quiet. It’s an ideal place for a couple looking for a cozy and calm retreat in the city. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Lisbon.

We had a lovely stay here, the apartment was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable visit. August and Teresa were fantastic hosts making sure we were okay and gave us recommendations. The pool was a real bonus, especially on warm days and when the beaches were busy. It’s also in a great location for exploring the area, with easy access to both Lisbon and Cascais. Would happily recommend!

João and Raquel were great hosts! The apartment was super nice and the checkin and checkout process was easy.

This was a great spot for a first visit to both Cascais & Portugal. Everything was walkable, but peaceful. Downtown Cascais (25 min walk) is pretty, but busy even in late May so (boring that I am) I was glad to be farther away. The winner was the green view from the balcony every morning with coffee. The swing chair was a big hit with the teenage kids. The other winner is the ocean side walk nearby...straight to Cascais or minutes to Giua cafes & restaurants which offer some extraordinary outdoor eating venues ($$). Also Cafe Ophelia nearby was sweet. The green space out back & the pool will no doubt work well for younger kids. Maria was a very friendly & engaged host. Tip: Lidl grocery store is an easy 8 min walk & carries a surprising array of good quality, cheap fresh baked breads & sweet pastries.

Great place, with fantastic view of the castle, big clean pool, close to the beach. We had great holidays with friends.

Bernardo and Maria's place was a perfect getaway for ours girls trip. It was peaceful and spacious and we could get into the centre of Lisbon easily with Ubers. The pool was amazing and was a big highlight of our stay! Great sized rooms and bathrooms, lovely patio, really suitable for a group holiday, would highly recommend!

Everything about this place exceeded our expectations! This is the first Air BnB I have stayed in where the rooms are even nicer than the pics! We stayed here with our adult children for 8 days and absolutely loved it! The property is nicer than some 5 star resorts we have stayed in. The kitchen has anything you could possibly need and the bathrooms were stocked with plenty of towels and washcloths. Bedrooms were comfortable and quiet! Rui and Teresa greeted us upon arrival and were responsive anytime we had questions. There were restaurants within walking distance but also Ubers and Bolts were plentiful and inexpensive. I can’t recommend it enough! Thank you Rui and Teresa!

We had an incredible stay at Susan's property. The former caretakers house was immaculate. Super clean, super comfortable, and included wonderfol amenities. Susan was the perfect hostess and incredibly generous and caring to ensure we had a comfortable stay. We enjoyed the pool, walking through the fruit trees, and using the BBQ. The property is truly special and we are so grateful we had a chance to stay there and experience it.

This place was perfect for what we were looking for. We needed somewhere that could accommodate 9 of us, 6 adults and 3 children under 3. The house itself was beautiful, very tidy and had so much space. The hosts Ana and Nuno had thought of the children and provided us with cots, high chairs, children’s dinnerware, and even things for the children to play with. The swimming pool was gated off as described. The location felt really private and quiet, with beautiful views of the sea. We were able to walk down to the local shops and beach of Praia das Maçãs, so we didn’t need to hire a car. Ana was so friendly and helpful before and during our stay. We had such a lovely time here, and would love to come back one day.

The house was perfect for our trip. We had a wedding nearby and we also had family visiting us. It is well equipped with everything we needed. Spacious, beautifully kept. Comfortable beds and nice bath towels. Nice big kitchen. Ana was a pleasure and very responsive. The little village of Praia das Maçãs is adorable, and beautiful beach. Nice restaurants and we loved going to the Mercado to buy food for a big lunch we cooked at the house on our last day. Would highly recommend to anyone looking to visit the area. And I hope to be back again.

Nuno is a great host who is really proactive and helpful. The place is great for groups, especially the nice and open living room allowed us to really enjoy our time during our stay.

We loved this home!! It was the end of our two week adventure and it was a perfect way to relax before we headed home. The house had everything we needed to feel at home. The local grocery store had everything for us to cook at home. The store clerk also gave us a ride home after we realized we over bought to walk back home. We enjoyed the pool and peaceful atmosphere. We even walked the boardwalk one afternoon to Cascais. Bernardo and Maria were wonderful hosts. They responded to us and answered a few questions. We are planning to come back to this property!
