This lake house was just perfect! From beginning to end, the stay was awesome. The house has everything you could possibly want or need. We looooved the outdoor space! Beautiful deck with lots of sitting room, lights, and fans. The hot tub was so awesome! Super nice fire pit area. A nice dock extending into deep lake water. We visited several local towns around the lake and were blown away with how friendly everyone was. We got all of our groceries at Perry’s Produce, a local produce stand; including meats and even butter and coffee creamer. We went to a vineyard nearby, and Morrow Mountain Stare Park for a beautiful hike with breathtaking views of the mountains. The area and the beautiful, cozy house with lots of amenities made this lake vacation one of the best we’ve had!

Staying at this Airbnb felt like a true escape. The location couldn't have been better – being mere steps from the beach was such a treat, allowing for spontaneous walks and the calming sound of the waves. It was wonderful to find such a genuinely dog-friendly place; my pups absolutely loved it, which made the stay even more enjoyable for me. The entire atmosphere was incredibly relaxing, and I found the off-season to be a particularly lovely time to visit, with beautiful weather and a sense of peacefulness. The property itself had everything I could possibly need, making it easy to settle in and feel comfortable. Amy was fantastic – always communicative and helpful, ensuring a smooth and easy stay. While there were plenty of options for things to do in the area, I also appreciated the opportunity to simply unwind and work remotely in such a serene setting. The upper deck was my favorite spot for getting sun many hours of the day. I’ve stayed in many airbnbs and this is a favorite!

I have booked multiple Air BnB’s this by far has been the best experience. The home was beautifully decorated and very welcoming. The snacks were an added bonus and perfectly picked! If you are considering booking this DO IT! Board games and books are available. Kristy has equipped that house with exactly what you need to enjoy time as a couple or with children.

we have stayed here several times. this place is something that we have come to truly enjoy and is very private and peaceful. we will be returning.

This was an absolutely perfect Topsail vacation home! We loved every minute of our stay. The location is absolutely fantastic. So close to the little local shops and restaurants as well as super close to the bridge going over to the mainland.. The house itself was spotless and quite comfortable. Had everything we needed to cook full meals. Plenty of kitchenware for our group of seven. Proximity to the beach is by far the most fantastic detail of this house! The little private sandy beach *yard* attached to the deck is awesome for kids and the beach itself just down a few steps is so amazing. We could even sit in bed and see the ocean waves! This is the best house with beach access and views we've stayed at in Topsail. Also positive to note, the entire property being fenced in felt incredibly safe for kids and was fantastic for our dog. We realized the apartment was a part of the rental unit and we were so pleasantly surprised! It was a great separate space! Overall highly recommend!

A beautiful, comfy cottage for a couple or family of 4. Bring golf clubs, swim suits and bikes because the community is lovely with lots to do. We felt right at home and had everything needed for a comfy, cozy and very peaceful stay. We will definitely stay here again!

It was asolutely beautiful here! after booking, we were so excited to hear they installed extras on the property and we got to enjoy a fire pit as well as the jacuzzi. easy drive to the beach and local stores and shops to entertain everyone. I would definitely come back with my littles next time, there was a lot to accommodate children! the only issue I had was unlocking the door and even though it was 1am, I was able to get someone on the phone to let me inside. wonderful stay!! 10/10

We loved our stay at the Cute House. The decor was so cute, and we enjoyed the record player and paintings. The kitchen had all we needed to make meals there. The backyard was beautiful and we loved the hot tub! 10/10 place.

I had a fantastic stay at Catherine’s place! The home was clean & cozy, the property was beautiful & peaceful. Check-in was smooth and hassle-free. Catherine was responsive and thoughtful throughout the stay. I would stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

This is cute cottage only a 3 min walk to the ocean. There was also restaurants and a store you could walk to. Also a very nice fishing pier. We drove to fort fisher which was really neat. Rode the fairy to Southport. Drove to Carolina beach for the day. There was lots to do.

The house was clean and inviting. Enough room for my whole family and dog. Alot of extra things that was there that I did not have to worry about buying, like beach towels, other beach stuff, cleaning products, dog bowls etc. Backyard was perfect for my dog, I did not have to worry about letting her out and getting out. I would definitely stay again if back in Wilmington.

My wife and I as well as our 2 kids and our pittie Mama loved our stay. it's the perfect spot for those with a furry family member. Right at the lake and the beach. We plan to save Lisa's place for possible future trips. Be sure to check out the dog photo book of all of the four legged guests when you stay. ❤️

This cottage is fabulous. It is truly a home away from home. It is clean and smells amazing from the moment you open the door. We enjoyed a few snacks, coffee, and tea. It has a spacious yard with an incredible back yard with a deck. The kitchen is large and the bedrooms are great sizes. We stayed for 2 nights but since we were in town visiting family we really only made it back to the cottage at night in time to shower and sleep. The beds are very comfortable and the shower is nice. This was a a terrific stay. Make sure you write in the guest book while you're there and read a few of the messages as it proves so many people have enjoyed this home. I would love to revisit.

This was by far the nicest Airbnb I have ever stayed in! The owner thought of everything to make your stay comfortable and stress-free. So many little extras and perks that weren’t even mentioned in the description. The photos don’t do it justice! The back covered porch is really large and the views from it are wonderful. And the front porch is very spacious also, with nice benches lining the sides that would seat a lot of people. Just a few steps and you’re on the walkway to the beach also! The furniture in the living room, and the beds, are amazingly comfortable. The outdoor shower is really nice - so spacious and clean! The owner is very nice and super responsive. He really does care about you having a nice stay in his lovely home!

We had a fantastic stay!! The place was very easy to find and get into and it was SO clean. The front balcony was a great place to hang out and enjoy the sounds of the ocean and just relax in the rocking chairs. We really appreciated the dog bowls and treats that were provided since I forgot to bring mine. The walk to the beach is extremely short and convent. We will for sure be staying again!!

Absolutely loved my stay!! From check in to check out it was an amazing experience. Will and Morgan’s place is perfect mix of private but also close enough to walk anywhere. Will definitely be staying here again in the future.

Upon arrival I imagined the house being a cute cottage near the beach. However the house is designed very open and felt really big! It also has a huge backyard, so you could bring a pet. The house is maybe a 3 minute walk to the beach and is on a very quiet street. Angela is a phenomenal host who was able to accommodate us for some technical errors that occurred at the house. I will definitely plan my next stay here if the house is available.

Perfect place for a weekend away. Kate’s place was clean, had easy access to the beach and plenty of things to do around the cottage while it rained. Would recommend to anyone visiting the Carolina Beach area.

The cottage was absolutely perfect, it felt like home from the moment we walked in. So peaceful and private, with thoughtful touches that made our stay extra special. We especially loved the outdoor shower and the back porch; the perfect spot to relax in the evenings. The fenced-in backyard was a huge plus for our family, and the quiet neighborhood made everything feel calm and restful. The beach was just a short, easy walk away, and the directions provided by the host made it even more enjoyable. There was so much to see and explore along the way , it was a little adventure for both us and the kids. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay! Thank you 😊

Another great weekend at Sherryl’s place and it’s starting to feel like home. Great location with a close walk to the beach, seafood market, breakfast restaurants, and more. We will be back!

My husband and I just returned from our second stay at One Beachin' Cottage for a long Memorial Day weekend. The cottage is comfy & we appreciate that it's pet friendly. Although the street where the Cottage is quiet and fairly traffic-free, it's walkable to the beach, restaurants, and the boardwalk. We appreciated how close it is to the Tiki Bar, The Spot, and the Veggie Wagon. We will definitely be back!

Beautiful home in a gated community, very safe and peaceful. It is tucked away in the back so you have wonderful views of the marsh/ocean and sunrise. Neighbors were friendly. The home was clean and had your basic toiletries for use, lots of towels. The community does have some coyotes so we had to be a bit watchful when walking the dogs but did not have any issues with them. Host was very responsive and friendly. We enjoyed our stay.

We had such a wonderful weekend in Southport! The home was very clean, beautifully decorated, and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The location was perfect with just a short walk to the waterfront, shops, and restaurants. The hosts were incredibly responsive and made check-in a breeze. Southport is such a charming town, and this Airbnb was the perfect place to enjoy it. The park across the street even had live music on Thursday night that we could enjoy from the porch! Would absolutely stay again! Cannot recommend this place enough!
