Townhouse holiday rentals in Cape Fear River

We loved the airbnb and the location. We had some struggles with the Wi-fi but Kayce took care of the problem which was great because we had a lot of rain. We ended up only using 2 out of 3 bedrooms but if we need a 3 bedroom next visit we would definitely stay here again. Oh, and loved the big comfy couch!!

David and Kris were terrific hosts! They went out of their way to keep us informed of fun events happening around the island, which we greatly appreciated as it was our first time to BHI. The unit is just as pictured and beautifully renovated. Kitchen is expertly organized and has full array of cookware. The location is central on the island, making it a quick ride to the market, beach, club, etc. The surrounding live oaks and foliage are beautiful. I would definitely recommend! We will be back.

We have visited Robs place several times and we enjoy staying there..It is clean and out the back door, you are at the beach..Close to restaurants..Rob is a great host..We will be making reservations again soon..We definitely recommend staying there..

Lily is -the best- and her place is aweeesome too! We went with four adults and three kids. Had plenty of room. Walked to the beach every day…was so nice to have the pool and a beautiful home to come back to. Will definitely look to stay again. Thank you Lily!!

Apex is a super cute town and the home is just a few easy walking blocks to the historic street filled with good restaurants and shops. Comfy bed!

Such a great place. Easy to get anywhere in Raleigh. It was so clean and warming.

This was our 2nd family vacation on Carolina Beach. Our family rented 2 places close to each other. This rental was very clean and nicely decorated. It was comfortable for 7 adults and 2 dogs. We hosted dinners for 20 easily. The elevator was nice for loading/unloading the cars. Had 1 issue with the front door lock, which Connie & Joe fixed the next day.

Great beach getaway home! The house was super clean and looked amazing when we got in! It was minutes away from Kure beach, Carolina beach and wrightsville! Lots of fun things to do and lots of recommendations from Majorie on what events were going on! Enjoyed the trip it was definitely worth the money paid!

Great beach stay! We stayed for three nights with two small children. Appreciated the thoughtful touches — adding an infant gate at the top of the stairs, having a clean/new pack and play, and welcome snacks. Unit: Very nice and newer unit! Looks as described and shown in listing photos. Location: Short, less than five minute walk to public beach access. The beach was never crowded, compared to other areas closer to hotels and larger public parking lots. Hosts: Always super responsive and friendly!

My group of 8 felt right at home at Alyssa’s property, plenty of space for everyone to spread out. We felt right at home. The pictures don’t do it justice, it’s STUNNING! Everything was so well thought out in the kitchen , and the golf cart was such a fun way to get around town. Alyssa was very responsive with anything we could need. This was my second time staying in Topsail and can’t wait to go back :)

We had a great stay at the Boho Chateau this past weekend! It is very conveniently located in a super cute neighborhood which was perfect for all of the family events that were happening in the area. The backyard was peaceful and private so we even got to do a little meditation and sunbathing! Thank you to Brooke for providing this cute place, for being a great host, & available to us if we ever needed you!

The place was exactly as described. It was very easy to find and get into and was very clean. The host was very responsive whenever I had a question. The host even sent someone over when we could not get the TV channels correctly. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hopefully we’ll book there again next year during this time.

What a perfect location for families!! Andy's place is perfect for families with children of all ages. It was close enough that we felt comfortable letting our teens explore the beach on their own and easy for me to take our toddler back to the house for a nap. The upstairs loft was spacious and had beds for everyone. They had lots of thoughful details including a "in case you forgot" bin in each bathroom. The outdoor space is adorable and great to visit and enjoy the salty air. My husbands favorite spot was the well stocked outdoor shower. So, whether you are traveling with young or older kiddos, this place is perfect!!

Absolutely Loved Our Stay! If this place is available, don’t hesitate—book it and save yourself some time searching! The home was just as beautiful as the pictures, if not better. It was well-stocked with seasonings, condiments, and everything we needed for cooking. The welcome booklet was a thoughtful touch, filled with helpful information about the house and local area. The rooms were spacious with large, comfortable beds, and there was even a foot massager—a perfect treat after a long day. Everything was clean, cozy, and well-maintained. Amalia was a great host—very communicative, responsive, and thoughtful throughout our stay. We’d definitely stay here again!

We love staying here. It was our first time Emerald Island and will definitely go back and love to stay at Jessica‘s house. She was very responsive and helpful and the house that everything we needed.

The peaceful perch was exactly as described! Very cozy with thoughtful little aspects throughout the space, very kid friendly and perfect for a family with little kids! We loved the ice cream and coloring books. The outdoor shower made the sandy return much easier and the weather board outside was adorable to see each day! The walk to the beach was so easy with the wagon and about 10 mins with little feets in tow. Thank you Cathy and Bob for letting us spend our annual beach weekend at your love place. We appreciated it so much!

Great find! Lori was so helpful, friendly, and the house was amazing!! Ocean view from 3rd floor balcony. Game room was a huge hit with kids! Everyone had their own space, and felt right at home! Thank you for the memories!!

We had a great family vacation with our kiddos! The house is exactly as described and as shown in the pictures. The outdoor shower and easy access to the beach were perfect! We instantly felt at home and Ronnie was a great host. Would recommend this spot to anyone wanting a relaxing, low-key, beach vacation.

We had a great stay here! The accommodations are beautiful and comfortable. It’s a great location in Carolina Beach- just a short walk to the beach via the public access walkway. The kitchen was very well- appointed. We had everything we needed for cooking our meals! The only hiccup was the hot tub- it required cleaning before using. But as soon as we notified the owners, they scheduled the cleaning for the next morning and all was good. Pool and hot tub were great!

Great Memorial Day weekend stay for our large group. Very modern, fully updated and great layout. Would recommend and definitely stay again.

I stayed with my girlfriend and 15 y/o daughter. We are from Michigan. We all loved it there. I appreciated the natural gas BBQ. It was nice to not have to worry about running out of propane. Also loved the dedicated fridge and separate full size freezer in the kitchen. About a mile to the Murrells Inlet boardwalk. We took the marine biology cruise. Is was fun. Even my teenager enjoyed it. It was about an hour drive to Inlet Point Plantation where we went horseback riding on waties Island. Absolutely Amazing ride on the beach on the Atlantic ocean for the sunset. Only a few miles to Huntington beach where you’re sure to see an alligator if you’re patient in the evening. Brookgreen Gardens is right across the street from Huntington beach. Another must see if you like gardens, sculptures and a zoo. Surfside Beach is close and has free parking. Unlike Myrtle Beach. We also went ice skating but that was a two hour drive. Apparently ice skating isn’t popular in SC.
