Emily’s apartment is in a wonderful location along the promenade, the views are spectacular, and it was so easy to get a bus or taxi into town. Her place was pristine, beautifully decorated and she included some lovely little treats and super helpful instructions. It made my stay for the Edinburgh Marathon festival a really special trip! I really enjoyed meeting Mairi and staying with her family in their home. She was very friendly and helpful, even letting me borrow a flask to take my pre-made lunch out on a day trip. The location was beautiful and private yet also very close to a bus stop with several buses that went into town. I appreciated being able to use the kitchen and laundry facilities as well. This was a great place and a lovely stay.

The village of Colinton is beautiful. The little room I had in Anne Marie’s house was gorgeous, clean, comfortable and beautifully decorated. Anne Marie was a wonderful host and I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. Colinton is a wonderfully peaceful place to return to after a busy day exploring the city of Edinburgh. I highly recommend this accommodation 💕🙏🏼

Sam’s flat is an easy and quick walk from the train station. The instructions on how to get inside and outside were very clear. The room and the bathroom were absolutely pristine as well as the rest of the space. It took me 10 min to walk to all the attractions and there are plenty of places close by to grab a tasty coffee, a full meal, or groceries. As to the host himself - nobody knows the city or its history better than Sam does: he is absolutely wonderful, quick to respond, provides unbeatable recommendations, is very trustworthy, funny and I will absolutely stay with Sam again, if he agrees to it 🙂
