Holiday rentals with a hot tub in Carlsbad

Selvi’s home was lovely, very spacious, quiet, clean, private, safe, with beautiful surroundings. Last year we stayed at a different Airbnb that was the size of the bathroom here and paid more than we did for this. It was a wonderful experience!

Wow! Reserve this hidden gem now. This "elegant beach house" is beautifully decorated in contemporary chill--with all the amenities to sleep in and stay home or go out all day and come home and relax. Our family of 8 had plenty of room to gather for a movie, play board games, or retreat to our own space. We could go outside and play cornhole--or split time between the hot tub and the firepit in the beautifully landscaped backyard--then eventually fall asleep in the super comfortable beds. We hated to leave the place. Spotless bathrooms--and all throughout the space. The kitchen was pristine, and well-equipped (extra coffee! ;-) to cook our own feast or order out--and room for our 8 to sit at the same table, inside or out. 15 minutes to the beaches--Oceanside/Carlsbad--and you can bring the provided chairs, umbrella, etc. Instantly responsive hosts: "attentive but not intrusive"--like good friends we'd just met--the BEST! This house was beautiful and the pool was amazing! Gabe was responsive and very friendly. check in was easy. The beds were so comfy, and everything was pristine. thank you again for hosting my family of 9 plus doggies! we will Def be returning soon! p.s. The pool heating was so worth it!

It's always better staying with family at a home rather than a hotel. Kim's place was no exception. Lots of space, nice gathering area, big deck (with freeway noise), close to the beaches, restaurants, and Carlsbad Outlet Mall. Would love to stay here again.

Amazing experience. Vi’s place was homey beyond expectation. My wife was very impressed with how available everything was especially in the kitchen because we are a family of 6 and always eating out would have not been cost effective. We felt right at home. My wife especially loved the complementary fruits, water, and treats. The kids rooms were packed with toys and books they could read and play with in their spare time which was amazing. The living room was filled with board games for the entire family. The garage also had amazing games for the entire family with foldable chairs and equipment for the beach and camping. There was so much to do in the house that staying in was not in the slightest boring. The entire family enjoyed the pool and the spa and had an amazing time especially on the days we stayed in. I certainly would be booking Vi’s place again anytime we are in San Diego.

The place was better than we expected. The place clean and was filled with so much amenities (lots of towels for use and pool use, pool table, video games, etc). We didn’t really have to go anywhere to have fun because of all the amenities. Responses were very quick and the owner was so accommodating to our need. I highly recommend this place and would definitely stay here again if we are to have another family reunion in San Diego. The place was worth the price.

Liam and Mia were lovely! They were very communicative and responsive to all my inquiries before and during our stay. The place was immaculate and everything exceeded our expectations. There were also plenty of extra towels and comforters, which was a big plus for our group of 10. Definitely recommend!

The house was perfect for us. We played all the activities, cooled off in the pool, and then relaxed in the spa. Sunset and morning views are amazing! Hosts were very responsive. I appreciated the Canva pdf that had all the instructions for checking in and using the house. It was a great experience.

Sheila’s beautiful villa was absolutely what we needed after a long exhausting day with two toddlers at Legoland. We had stayed at a residence before here so we knew the layout and amenities more or less. It’s exactly what we expected and more. The beautiful pools (with a baby friendly pool), the kids club, the beautiful views, the delicious on-site restaurants, complimentary fruit-infused water, the adorable stuffed animal seals for the kids, and more. We loved that the kids could stay in the living room. Sheila had provided two cribs that were already set up prior to our arrival. The check-in was super smooth! We communicated for days before our arrival and we felt really happy with everything!!! We loved the amenities and after Legoland, we needed a bit of luxury and rest for ourselves. Thank you again for letting us stay in your lovely villa.

The villa on the hill is a hidden gem that I would gladly go back to. The views were breathtaking from just about any spot on the property. One of my favorite parts about the whole villa stay was sitting in the hot tub watching the sun set in the evening. The villa itself was just as beautiful on the inside as it was on the outside. The owners keep it very clean and stocked with cooking utensils if needed. It was the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of Southern California, and I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful and spacious place to stay.

This home was perfect for our group of 7. Everything was in excellent shape and the home had everything we needed. John was a great host and very responsive to questions that we had. The outdoor space was great for the kids to play in the pool and was very private. There were also a good selection of pool floats and beach toys for kids. We will definitely look to rent this home again when we return.

This was our first family vacation with 3 generations and the home was absolutely perfect for us. Plenty of space for everyone! Upstairs, 2 bedrooms have a Jack & Jill bathroom between them, 1 has its own, and the master has its own. Downstairs, the bedroom has a bathroom just outside the door and there are half baths at the home entry and in the laundry room. The pool was the highlight of our trip. Greg recommended heating it the first day based on the weather forecast and the pool temp, and it was a comfortable 84 degrees for our entire stay. The views are amazing and so many amenities that you really just need to bring your toothbrush! I’m a fan sleeper so I purchased a fan and left it there for future fan sleepers (although there are ceiling fans in each room). Fan sleepers will understand how important this is lol. Also, we couldn’t find a lighter for the grill but that may have just been our inability to find it. We HIGHLY recommend this home! Greg and his home are amazing!

We stayed at The Mountain House over a weekend, and it was amazing. Beautiful views from the house and the whole farm is so serene and peaceful. My daughter loved the animals (especially the goats) and if she had it her way, she would stay there full time. The chickens gave us lots of fresh eggs everyday. Also, I highly recommend taking one of the cooking classes that is offered as it really adds to the experience. We took the cheese making one and came home not just with knowledge of how to make delicious cheese, but also lots of cheese for us to enjoy.

Lydia was a very responsive host and was really easy to communicate with. We were a little skeptical because we knew we would be staying on the property where she lived with her family and were worried about privacy but the cabin is very private and although we naturally bumped into Lydia and her husband a few times, they did not spend any time out their back yard (where the cabin is located) for the duration of our stay so we had the place and the yard pretty much to ourselves which was great. We didn't realize how far away we would be from shops and restaurants. It is about a 20 minute walk to the nearby town so we did spend a lot of money on ubers but that was our own fault for not doing our research beforehand. Overall Lydias place is very clean and had everything we needed for our stay, she even had some stuff in the fridge and cleaning products which was really convenient. Thank you Lydia for a lovely stay.

This place is exactly what you see. You have all the privacy you need, but you're not too far away from the market. Finding the place, getting inside and the amount of things that you can do at the home, makes it worth the stay. The house was spotless, and everything in the house works. No surprises.

We had a lovely weekend stay! Rowena is a fantastic host. She was warm, responsive, and incredibly helpful. She made our arrival smooth and our experience even more special by answering all our questions promptly, especially when we weren’t able to reach RedAwning directly. Her thoughtful touches, like leaving wine for us, really made a difference! The cabin itself is charming and full of personality. We enjoyed nights around the fire pit under the stars and peaceful mornings birdwatching from the porch. The neighborhood cat even hung out with us! Inside, we loved the quirky features, from the stone basement to the attic bedroom, and we had fun with the board games and projector setup. One thing to keep in mind is the stairs are uneven inside and outside the cabin, which could be tricky for guests who prefer more stable footing. Thanks again for a comfortable, memorable stay!
