Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Carlsbad

My 2 colleagues and myself stayed here for a total of 8 nights as we were in town for a conference. It was brilliant and had everything we needed. I would highly recommend Oceanside and this property .

Thank you for sharing your home with us. It was perfect for our big family — very spacious, comfortable, and incredibly pet-friendly! The location was great too — conveniently close to both San Diego and Oceanside. We had a wonderful stay and would definitely come back again!

Great location. You can walk to the lagoon and grocery store. We had five people and a dog and there was so much room to spread out, yet still felt intimate. The gardens and both outdoor spaces were fantastic. The house was immaculate. The simple, perfect placement, and alignment of dishes, books, and games showed how much care goes into cleaning and maintaining the home. It did not feel cluttered. The fenced backyard was perfect for our dog, and there were so many things there if you have little ones. The coolers were great for beach and park days. They provided so much in supplies that we only needed to buy one roll of paper towels in seven days. Having great shampoo, soap, and conditioner was so helpful. I had several questions because I missed the info when reading the detailed instructions, and the response times were incredible. This was a fantastic house and the rental experience was seamless. I definitely will return to one of Kimberly’s rentals if we return to the area.

We had a fantastic week in La Jolla! John’s place was charming, spotless, and perfect for our family. The home was well-stocked with thoughtful amenities—including beach gear—and had everything we needed to feel comfortable. The location is unbeatable: a quiet, family-friendly neighborhood within a few minutes walking distance to the beach, great restaurants, coffee shops, and more. John was a friendly and responsive host who made everything easy from start to finish. Honestly could not have asked for a better host. Highly recommend for families looking for a relaxing, convenient stay in La Jolla. We’d love to come back!

This is such a beautiful home, I already want to go back! The walk to the beach was easy and so close. The privacy of the outdoor seating area was really nice. Kitchen was clean and spotless and the beds were incredibly comfortable! The water pressure in the showers wasn’t very strong, but everything else was perfect. Would absolutely stay again! Oh, and the hosts were very responsive throughout the stay when I had any questions!

This serene hilltop location is everything the listing promises. Tucked away in seclusion, it’s the kind of place where you can actually exhale. The view from the deck is breathtaking — rolling hills, vines, and the kind of quiet that’s hard to come by these days. Birds wake you up chirping in the morning, no traffic. Inside, the home is cozy, perfect for a peaceful solo retreat or a relaxing weekend for two. Out a few miles are several boutique locations — and We texted for in and provides so we could take long walks with our pup under the trees. Waking up to the sound of birds and rustling leaves, watching the fog burn off from the valley below — it’s one of those stays that makes you forget to check your phone. Highly recommend if you’re craving calm, comfort, and a little wine country magic

Very nice place, location was great. Host was very helpful and responsive. The house was very neat and organized. Will definitely come back to this Airbnb again highly recommended both for the host and the house.

We initially planned to stay in Leucadia for a week but decided to extend our stay for a full second week because we loved this place so much. The location is absolutely perfect. We walked to the Beacons beach to surf every day and had our pick of all the best restaurants on the 101 (highly recommend Birdseye Kitchen). The house itself is cozy and surprisingly private for a place on the 101. It helped to have laundry on site and Chris was responsive throughout our visit. The house isn't as well stocked as a lot of air bnbs (no wine glasses, coffee, ice cube trays, etc.) but you will probably want to eat out most of your stay anyway because there are so many great places within walking distance. We definitely plan to come back and highly recommend this charming little nook in Leucadia! Excellent cost for value.

This house was beautiful and the pool was amazing! Gabe was responsive and very friendly. check in was easy. The beds were so comfy, and everything was pristine. thank you again for hosting my family of 9 plus doggies! we will Def be returning soon! p.s. The pool heating was so worth it!

This was such a beautiful guest house in a nice, peaceful, and quiet neighborhood. Everything was really clean and the amenities were amazing! Communication was great and the hosts Zach and Eva were so polite and very friendly with quick response times. There’s a fun Las Vegas theme outdoor area near the pool and their garden is gorgeous. There are stairs in the house that are steep so they might be a little bit difficult for someone with a physical disability or the elderly but this is listed in the description. Overall, I highly recommend this listing to anyone wanting to stay near San Diego!

We needed a place for 3 adults Sydnie’s place was so great from the first time I messaged Sydnie she helped me with local recommendation’s for restaurants/groceries/stores she sent me all the info I messed to make our stay wonderful. The house was everything that was shown. I would recommend anyone to stay here and will definitely will be back.

Vivian and John‘s cottage was a perfect place for a three day stay. Very peaceful and calm with beautiful surroundings and close to everything I needed to get to. I would love to come back at some point.

This was heaven on Earth! I will remember this stay for the rest of my life. The hosts are so generous, welcoming, and easy-going. We felt relaxed and free throughout our entire stay. They remembered my bday and hung a birthday banner in the living room! We brought our dog and they were SO chill about letting our sweet old doggy explore the grounds off leash and even accompany us up to the pool at the house! We had our 1.5yr old with us and made epic joyful memories as a family just enjoying the grounds for the weekend. This was the first time our daughter had ever seen a goat, a sheep, an alpaca, bunnies, or chickens in real life. Watching our toddler and our dog explore the animals side by side was my favorite thing I’ve experienced in life so far! It was so special watching my child soak it in, I can’t describe it. My family and I LOVE the Tipsy Goat Ranch and the amazing hosts. We can’t wait to come back! Thank you for an unforgettable stay!

Had a great Time. House is beautiful and the view was outstanding. We loved listening to and seeing the wildlife and birds. The Beds were very comfortable. The Kitchen was well supplied, plenty of dish ware, cups, bowls etc. The Pool table kept us all entertained. We loved having a TV in every room, the 83 in was nice and big. Plenty of seating for meals and for watching TV. The Pool was nice and big, and spa seat us all and got plenty warm enough was a little hard to get in and out of the Pool and Spa with no rails but otherwise great, even saw the owl fly into his home. Overall Fantastic defiantly a 5 Star

Worked out great for partner retreat. Great balance of nature and home. Multiple meeting areas. Great kitchen. Sinks in bedrooms a plus. Master bath / shower excellent and best view from that room. Pool is well located. I would imagine there could be a yoga area on patio. Didn’t use movie room but den is fine for small mtg. Host is responsive/clear. TY Evan!

This was our second stay at this property, and our first time in The Cottage. We loved being here just as much as the first time! Lara has amazingly good taste, and the cottage is beautiful inside and out. The stand out feature for us is the deck. The tree that stretches over it is beautiful. We spent lots of our time relaxing there. I loved popping in to Lara’s little store, there’s lots of good things, and well worth a visit. We also went over to Santa Ysabel, about half an hour away, and checked out Olive and Oak. It’s a nice store with lots of things for home and garden. We love Lara’s warm hospitality and the gorgeous, peaceful setting of this property. So glad we found it and that it’s only an hour away from our home.

Rob’s place was just as described. We found it quiet and peaceful, with enough room for our needs. It had a nice little fenced-in area (great for dogs) and everything was comfortable. Rob was timely, clear, and friendly in his communications. Easy to get to Legoland and plenty of restaurants in the area.

Deyao’s place was great. Location is wonderful and is about a 8-10 min drive from the pier. It’s in a quiet neighborhood with walking distance to a big park 2 houses down. My dog enjoyed his morning walks. Plenty of kids playing in the playground, basketball courts, and tennis courts. The home itself is a duplex and is shared with tenant. They are very respectful and the Gentleman that we met gave us some really good recommendations. Overall we enjoyed our stay, the day bed in the living room was cozy, the kitchen had everything we could need (organized and labeled) and the bed felt like it was from a hotel. I liked how you the home had 3 different entrances so you could still have your “side” of the lot to enjoy. Would recommend this place to stay at if you are in Oceanside. Thank you Deyao! (Try the Cali burrito from La Perla Tapatia if you want amazing authentic Mexican food down the street)

We really enjoyed our stay! Great location and hosts were had good communication. Parking was readily available out front and check in and out was very easy.

10 and her partner were great at hosting us while we stayed in Carlsbad we enjoyed the view the walk to the beach the game room they went above and beyond by getting my child some snacks and a pizza so it would be there when we arrived this was amazing which was amazing when traveling with kids will be back to stay

Our stay was delightful. We left relaxed and refreshed. Each morning we awakened to the sounds of crashing waves and expansive ocean views. The home is cozy and comfortable as is the back patio that was perfect for meals, soaking up the sun and evening chats. The morning tide pools were great to explore and we spent a lot of time walking the beach. It was a fabulous beach weekend for our party of six adults. I also want to commend the property management team on their excellent communication. Instructions were clear and they were immediately responsive to our needs. Really glad to have enjoyed this home and looking forward to visiting again soon.

I had a nice stay at Dries and Alex beautiful home. It’s very well taken care of, I hope future Airbnb people will take care of the home in the future . I am very allergic to scents and everything was unscented which was so nice. I felt very safe here. As you can see in the photos it’s decorated very nicely. I’m very grateful to the host for their kindness and having me at their beautiful home.

It was absolutely charming. We enjoyed our short stay, only regret was not having more time to enjoy it more. Beds and bedding was comfortable. Kitchen is fully stocked. Plenty of thick towels and beach towels. My grandsons loved sleeping in the loft. We were 20 minutes away from Sea World minutes from great parks for the boys. The owner was wonderful. Dan & Britt are very gracious hosts! They were proactive in reaching out to us to make sure we were comfortable and were attentive to our needs throughout our stay. Their Airbnb was better than the photos and my family and I absolutely loved the views it offered as well as the neighborhood of Oceanside. The house itself was very spacious and clean. We had a chance to truly decompress for a couple of days! I would highly recommend a stay here and we plan on going back.
