Holiday rentals with lake access in Carolina Beach

Beautiful home backed up to a small water way. Home was as described, very clean, easy to access, well stocked. The home is located roughly 5 minutes from the beach inside a neighborhood. Quiet location. Yard was well manicured with a small dock/walk out onto the water. Seen several fish jump and lots of turtles. Henry was very responsive and helpful with check in. Good restaurants local to the home and near a Grocery store. Would stay here again :)

I brought my toddler to his first-ever trip to the beach at The Crusty Crab. I couldn't have picked a better location. Anna and her co-hosts were incredibly friendly and responsive to any questions, providing local recommendations and a Gift Card to The Veggie Wagon, such a cute (within walking distance!) place to relax, listen to some live music and get some easy pop-in-the-oven meals and delicious treats. The place was in pristine condition and includes a kitchen, bathroom, two bedrooms, living room; deck; and, washer/dryer downstairs (where you can also find cornhole, beach chairs, beach wagon and such); and, a grill and picnic table outside, just up from the outdoor shower. Little details such as bedside mints, sound machines, makeup towels were appreciated! We accidentally broke a couple mugs and Anna was very gracious about it. You are steps away from Spartanburg Beach Access, making planning time at the beach so incredibly easy. We absolutely plan on coming back! Thank you Anna!

This was my families first time at Holden beach, and we loved it. It was a very fun and peaceful stay. Peggy’s place was amazing! The home was very comfortable. My girls loved the swing outside. Peggy was an amazing host. Helpful and kind. We will be staying here again 😍

This was our third stay with Tony and as always, the whole process was seamless and stress free. He made sure we had all of the instructions we needed for check in, using the property and check out. It’s especially nice to be able to bring our dog with us and have a nice fenced area to use. Our stay was wonderful as always and we’ll be back for Christmas vacation.

Darlene was a fantastic host! She communicated quickly when I had any questions. Her house was probably one of the best stocked AirBnBs that we've stayed at. The pool was so private, I knew we had neighbors, but could not see them. The house was perfect for our family! We loved Carolina Beach!

This place is the epitome of peace. Highly recommend this property for so many reasons - great location right off main highway, beautiful view with steps to the beach, nice accomodations with thoughtful touches and best of all, very sweet and helpful hosts, Robert and Emeric. Would love to return and stay longer.

Great hosts. Very clean. Comfortable beds and beautiful renovated kitchen. Because the cottage was built in an earlier era, the bathroom is quite small but the entire home is bright, sunny, tastefully decorated and spacious. We enjoyed being close to the boardwalk, beach and lake. Great location -quiet.

Janice was a wonderful host stayed in touch with us giving suggestions on what to do around town and events going on. THe private courtyard was very cute and inviting.

This place was a GEM of a find! Location couldn’t have been better if you’re someone who enjoys being right above the glittery blue water of Carolina Lake and a short stroll to the ocean! I’m extremely picky about mattresses and the bed was SO comfortable and sheets/pillows/towels were clearly quality. Two porches to watch the sunrise from was a big bonus. Shelia was extremely helpful and went above and beyond as a host. We can’t wait to come stay again!

We had an amazing stay at The Playa!!! Ligia was an amazing host. She was very responsive and communicated with us the entire trip. The condo was on the 3rd floor but it wasn't too bad of a walk. The condo had just enough space for 2 adults and a baby. The inside was clean and provided us with all we needed. You can see the beach from the patio. The location was amazing. The walk to the beach was quick and easy. We did not need to move our car the entire trip due to everything being in walking distance. We will definitely stay at this location again.

Amazing space, clean and small. Close to everything, short walk to the beach/short drive to Wilmington. Yelena is a very helpful host, any concerns we had, she delivered help. Remember that this airbnb is shared, you may hear the neighbors occasionally. We are extremely grateful for Yelena’s help in that regard! Would love to visit again ❤️

Kara is the property manager and she was SUPER sweet, helpful and responsive. The beds were very comfortable and I LOVED how you can rent the golf carts (someone previously mentioned battery would die quick but that’s if your gone hours & hours just like you’d run out of gas) everything was nearby and we saved a lot of money and time with the golf carts due to parking, access to beach and price to rent. If you were to actually rent one from certain places it was WELL over $200/day. So Loreen was doing us a favor and making it more affordable lol The place was very clean ! I am a neat freak and super clean myself so I was on the look out 👀 but this place was very clean. Only reason I can’t go back is definitely NOT due to the place itself but because my senior dog couldn’t make it upstairs 😔 from now on we have to take stairs inconsideration. That’s because of our dog NOT this place This place is definitely 10/10 loved it and made some best memories with my family ❤️❤️❤️🥹

Julia was such a wonderful host! So kind and helpful. She had so many recommendations for restaurants and activities. Her condo was absolutely beautiful- her attention to all the small details was impeccable. She even had a bottle of wine to welcome us to her place. Everything from the cleanliness to the thoughtful decorative touches were just perfect and really made it feel like we were in a 5-star hotel. The well-equipped kitchen had everything we needed for our one-week stay. Our favorite spot was the oceanfront balcony - the chairs and umbrella made it a perfect spot to relax and enjoy the ocean breeze and the sound of the waves. We loved everything about the condo and cannot wait to come back! Thank you so much, Julia for a wonderful and unforgettable stay.

My stay at this airb&b was perfect and so peaceful. It was 2min walk to the beach and boardwalk. Everything was walkable distance. I parked my car the whole time i was there and did not had to drive once. Its perfect location and really cute Airbnb. I will definitely be staying here every time i visit Carolina Beach. Host was really nice friendly and very responsive. This has to be one of the best Airbnbs located at prime location near the beach and all fun activities.

Our family had a wonderful week ! Beautiful home and gorgeous setting. We kayaked everyday.. the dock also provided amazing views and peaceful moments. David and Christine are so thoughtful and friendly as well as aware of your privacy. I cannot express enough gratitude for such a great experience and beautiful place to stay. My husband and I both think our favorite Airbnb ever!!! Delicious coffee, beach provisions, comfy bed and nice linens, amazing shower and the best treats … the gorgeous trees and birds to greet you daily. We cannot wait to return. Thank you again!

The cottage was very cute and inviting. We arrived pretty late, but with clear instructions, it was a breeze getting inside. It was very nice having a tranquil walkway that had lights that light up as you walk up. The lights were on inside which was nice for us arriving late. The bed and linens were nice and soft. The amphitheater is just a short stroll away and the lake across the street was beautiful to walk. The host was very friendly. We enjoyed our stay.

Danielle was the perfect hostess! She was quick communicating, the property was as described, she accommodated a change (after it was too late to change) to our travel needs, and basically she and her property were a fabulous oasis minutes from the airport! What's not to love? 😀

We had a great week at the beach staying at Sue’s house! The house was the perfect size for our family of four. It was just a short walk to a public beach access. We also enjoyed kayaking in the creeks behind the house, watching the beautiful sunsets on the back deck, and grilling and eating in the awesome area under the house. Sue was very responsive whenever we needed anything. We would definitely stay here again.

My family enjoyed staying at the property for a week at the beach. Walkable to most anything you need in Carolina Beach and is very close to a lake with a walking loop...perfect to take our pup for strolls in the morning and evening (just keep an eye out for the resident geese, as they hissed at us hahah). Very peaceful and quiet too. One thing that stood out to me was how well stocked they were with amenities in the bathroom and kitchen. Little touches like toiletries & coffee pods make such a huge difference. Overall, you can tell that they are very thoughful hosts! One thing to consider is that it is an older building, so you can hear alot of the happenings below you..we had some very loud people for the first few days after we checked in but again, I chalk it up to it being an older building which is common for the area. Furniture & beds were very comfortable...and my husband had a nice spot to do some work in the mornings. Oh & they had an old school nintendo set up...score!
