Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Carpinteria

One of the best Airbnb’s I’ve stayed in. Very comfortable. Great living space. Comfortable bed. Nice linens and towels. Kureig with coffee, including decaf!! A small basket of snacks. They had it stocked with everything I needed. Decorated very nicely. Super quiet neighborhood.

What a magical getaway! The house is adorable and very well stocked with quality supplies. Our kids (8 and 5) loved exploring the beautiful yard and we all slept soundly. Walking to butterfly beach and the coast village shops was just the best. Can’t wait to return!

Place is super cozy and tastefully decorated. Free of clutter and felt right at home. Natty provided welcome drinks in the fridge and chocolates. Would definitely recommend staying here. Very peaceful and quiet. We especially loved the very serene outdoor space. Super easy to get to and very close to Montecito downtown. Enjoyed our stay very much. A big thank you to Natty for being a such gracious host.

We had the loveliest time celebrating our anniversary at this dreamy beach get-away! Super clean and gorgeous home, so many lovely, stylish spots to relax in. We hiked nearby, had a lovely walk on the beach and ate at very lovely and delicious little food places. Hearing the seals bark nearby just was such a cute and special little touch to the whole experience. I highly recommend this place for a secluded, relaxing little retreat!

Julie’s place is amazing!!! Better than expected. College friend reunion. We really enjoyed the pool and the yoga studio and outdoor area. Julie is a delight!

I LOVED Shannon's place so much that it was hard to pull myself away when we had to leave. It was so comfortable, airy, comfortable, clean, peaceful and basically, perfect. I really really enjoyed my time at Shannon's little oasis. It was a reminder of all the things I love about Southern California indoor / outdoor living - outdoor shower and dining table outside, fire pit, hammock, etc. Honestly, best Airbnb I have stayed in in ages! HIGHLY recommend.

This was our second time staying here, and we loved it every bit as much as we did the first time. It is the perfect location to explore all of Carpinteria and provided easy access to the beach. As a family with young kids, we also very much appreciated the "Kid Room" with its toy chest full of fun items and stuffies. The hosts also keep quite a bit of beach gear on hand, which allowed us to leave some of our stuff at home. Check in was a breeze, and communication was great. Having private parking is a huge bonus too. As far as the house itself goes, it is as advertised, quaint, and charming. We loved leaving the front door open in the mornings to let the breeze in as we watched the foot traffic walk by over coffee. The backyard is an absolute gem as well. It offers a private sanctuary even though you're located in the middle of everything. The kids had a blast running around, and we enjoyed lounging back there when we weren't out exploring. 10/10 highly recommend!

We loved Chelsey's place. Everything was fine. The driveway is very steep and it was impossible to park our car without scraping even with the suspension raised to max. We will come back for sure. Rick & Jackie

Our stay was very pleasant!! Elena was responsive from the get go! I had inquired about having two dogs and she was very accommodating to our requests and helped make the trip so easy. The Airbnb was beautiful and clean and was exactly how it was described! The area was very private and peaceful and you can literally walk to the beach in less than a minute. I would definitely stay here again!

Spacious, clean lodgings on the first floor of an older home with very quiet renters upstairs. It worked great for our two-week stay in Ventura.

Great spot right next to the beach. We watched the sunset on the beach, took bike rides to the pier and spent countless hours in the jacuzzi. Check in was seamless and the garage was an added bonus. Keep in mind that it's a tight squeeze and an SUV will probably not fit in there. The host was very responsive and took care of an initial issue with the hot tub. It was one of the main reasons we booked it and we were glad he responded quickly.

We had a very lovely stay in the apartment. The building was so interesting, with lots of history in the neighborhood. The apartment was spacious for the 2 of us. What little time we spent there was perfect for us. There were lots of streaming options, the kitchen was small but easy to work in and the bed was super comfortable! There was a white noise machine which was a nice touch, We did not use it but great idea. Our stay was focused on fairground events so this was very convenient to that as well as the train, the historic pier and restaurants, the beach, etc - all between 5-10 minutes away. There was a Vons market and CVS very close by for stocking up. All to say it was a very convenient location. There is a secured parking spot in the building which is also great. David was super responsive and helpful. There are some parks and trails nearby, sadly we did not have time to explore but if we go to Ventura again, I would definitely stay here.

We had a great time at Landon & Evie’s place in Ventura! We stayed one night and hope to stay longer next time! Apartment was very nice and as described! Great location and walking distance to Main Street , restaurants , coffee , bars and beach! Place was clean, spacious and very comfortable! Apartment building was very quiet and peaceful! Landon & Evie were friendly, accommodating , welcoming and had great communication! We love Ventura and are exited to find a great place to stay when we are visiting! We had a perfect romantic weekend in Santa Barbara, and this place made it truly special. The space was beautifully decorated with great style—spacious, full of natural light, cozy, quiet, and incredibly comfortable. It had everything we needed, from thoughtful amenities to a warm, inviting atmosphere. The location couldn’t have been better—just a short walk to East Beach, yet tucked away enough to feel peaceful and private. Our host, Jane, was fantastic—responsive, kind, and full of helpful suggestions for local restaurants. She made everything easy from start to finish. We’d absolutely stay here again!

This place was absolutely beautiful with an amazing view of the water! Beach access was also great to have very close by! It was great being able to fall asleep with the sound of the waves! Amazing air bnb to stay at!

My wife and I stayed here while I attended a conference 45 minutes away, inland. I’m so glad we stayed where we did because of the views. Not difficult to get around. Grocery store and restaurants are not a far drive away. The place had everything we needed. Older adults, so pretty quiet. You can see and hear the ocean from the condo. Host was quick to respond to any questions.

Location on the Mesa was perfect! Walking distance to beaches, shopping and restaurants. Very quiet, comfortable beds and the hot tub and private back yard were a bonus. Thank you, we would definitely return if we are in SB again!

Such a beautiful large condo Great location and Terri was so kind and helpful. Had access to e bike which was so fun. Hot tub was relaxing and really enjoyed having an outdoor warm shower after going to the beach. Loved this spot and would definitely stay here again!

Great stay here for my family of 6! Beautiful furniture and smart renovations made this a very comfortable stay! Sound of waves as soon as you walk in! Sebastian was VERY responsive to a couple questions. Would highly recommend!

Nice stay for our family of four. Convenient location, short drive to favorite spots in town, a couple of us even walked to Boathouse for breakfast. White noise machine helps mask adjacent street noise. Nice little back patio.
