Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Casa de Oro-Mount Helix

Rebecca’s lovely Airbnb was my family’s home away from home for nearly two months and I loved it! I had everything I needed to comfortably work from home and to enjoy beautiful San Diego on the weekends. The home is super clean, but also very “livable” so you can relax and enjoy a movie or cook a great meal in the well-stocked kitchen without feeling like you’re walking on eggshells. You will need a car to visit San Diego attractions. The home is accessible to freeways that can take you to downtown, the beach, or Mission Valley within 15 to 20 minutes. My husband and I also loved going out to dinner at cute restaurants in downtown La Mesa. I also have to mention that we stayed with our fur babies and they loved the backyard and having ample room to relax and enjoy the home with us. Rebecca was very responsive and friendly! As you might have guessed, I HIGHLY recommend staying at Rebecca’s home for your San Diego visit, whether you’re working from home or on vacation.

This home is great for families with young children. The provided toys and books were amazing as listed but they also provided kitchen supplies, a changing table, cribs, drying racks, and booster seats which were an added bonus! Our kids loved the yard, toys and activities within the home so much they didn’t want to leave to go to any attractions in the area.

Baker's place was very clean. The house felt cozy, and inviting. Everyone in our family enjoyed the house and the views. Baker, eventhough traveling internationally, still responded to my messages as if he were right next door. Baker and the hosts are extremely polite and answered all of our questions. We felt as if we had lived there for years. One can tell that they have placed enormous amount of time and energy in their project. I can truly appreciate their effort! Thank you again for making our family experience memorable!!

The home is located up on a hill, which gave us stunning views morning and evenin, truly one of the highlights of our stay. The area is quiet and peaceful, perfect for relaxing, yet still close enough to local spots for convenience. The uphill location added a nice sense of privacy and made the scenery even more beautiful. The place itself was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything we needed. Check-in was easy, and the host was friendly and responsive throughout. We’d definitely stay here again. Highly recommended for anyone who enjoys scenic views and a tranquil environment!

My family and I stayed at Casa Azul for a few weeks while our home was under construction. Our stay was the absolute best! Brandon was so helpful and responsive, respectful of our privacy, and we really felt at home. The back yard truly is magical as well. I've stayed in a few air bnbs, but this was by far the best! Thank you for being the best hosts!

Beautiful and quiet area. Our kids were made busy with the toys that were available; they loved it. The backyard view was impressive. The house was plenty big for our family of 6.

We had a great time, but I do feel like the cleaning crew rushed our room because when we arrived, the room was not done yet and in one of the rooms the bed sheets were still dirty but other than thatI do recommend this place 😊

This place was great, my family and I had an amazing trip and my kids thought it was magical to be able to walk to the beach. The neighborhood was peaceful and close to a lot of amenities. The apartment was very clean and well maintained. We loved our stay and will definitely be going back. 10 out of 10 will be recommending.

I really loved staying here. I would definitely stay here again. close to the beach and food place nearby. The only thing I wish they would change is the couches. They are not very comfortable for relaxing in after a long day. I loved the patio area I opened the door any enjoyed the weather. The only AC unit is in the living room but they do have fans in both rooms.

I wish I had more than 1000 characters because this place was incredible! The history in Barrio-Logan was unmatched compared to staying in the Gaslamp area. Hector left great recommendations, had a clean and spacious area, and was so responsive and flexible with check in! Couldn’t recommend this Airbnb or host more.

This airbnb was the perfect weekend getaway. The host were very responsive and accommodating. The place was clean and had all basic necessities that one will need. The airbnb had a beautiful view and cool features that will make your stay more exciting. 10/10 would recommend.

This home was perfect for our intergenerational family gathering. There was space (and enough bathrooms) to accommodate all of us without being in each other's way but also being able to gather in our larger family group when needed. The location with views of the mountains was relaxing and reenergizing for the holiday with family members coming from all over. Although there were various spaces throughout the house, the kitchen area was a definite gathering space and accommodated well for people to be together and doing different things: cooking and preparing a meal, sitting and chatting, working on a laptop, reading in the family room not too far away. I appreciated the communication prior, throughout, and after our stay.

Our extended family enjoyed a wonderful stay at this beautiful, clean, and well-equipped AirBnb. The AirBnb is thoughtfully designed with lots of lux features. It is conveniently located close to activities around the area and had everything we needed to relax after a long day of sightseeing. The family enjoyed the pool, sauna, gym, and spacious kitchen and living areas — something for everyone! It was super helpful to have access to a washer and dryer and we noticed there were high chairs, a pack and play, and a stroller for those with younger kids. We highly recommend!

Beautiful property and surroundings. Loved all of the plants and fruit trees around the property! The pool and hot tub were well kept and we had a blast! We were a big group, I loved how many lounge areas this property had. We never felt cramped or like we didn’t have space/chairs for everyone. Beds were super comfortable - way more comfortable than you usually expect at a rental. The host was super responsive and it seemed like they had thought of everything!

Phenomenal stay! The backyard had so many amenities to enjoy - space heaters for chilly nights, firewood for a real fire, jacuzzi, nice pool. It had several different areas to enjoy… lawn games like corn hole and bocci ball. Hosts are incredibly accommodating. We really enjoyed our stay. It was so so wonderful. Thank you so much

This home exceeded all my expectations! Everything was perfect for a group - from plentiful towels and outlets, lots of seating, VERY clean and super cozy! - This house is so beautifully decorated, and the backyard is amazing! Just the perfect place to be with family and friends. Sebastien provided very detailed and clear instructions, was very responsive and friendly. I will definitely come back for my future family stays!

Liam and Mia were lovely! They were very communicative and responsive to all my inquiries before and during our stay. The place was immaculate and everything exceeded our expectations. The location of the airbnb was within perfect distance of everything in San Diego. Honestly couldn’t ask for anything better.
