An Unforgettable Stay with the Best Host Ever! Flaminia is truly the best host we’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting. From the moment we arrived, she made us feel completely at home. She’s incredibly helpful—always available and willing to assist with anything we needed, no questions asked. Her warm, down-to-earth personality made our stay not only comfortable but genuinely special. What made the experience even more memorable was her recommendation to try her father’s amazing Roman cuisine, perfectly paired with local wines. It was an unforgettable meal and a true highlight of our trip. The farmhouse itself is beautifully located in the heart of Tuscany. It’s the perfect base for exploring nearby cities and the stunning countryside. Thanks to the central location, we were able to easily travel around and soak in all the beauty Tuscany has to offer. Castello Di Proceno was a great place to stay in the peace and quiet. You are well away from the hustle and bustle and will need transport to explore. The history is quite interesting. The furnishing and decor is very retro but still very comfortable. Cecilia is an amazing woman, both a wealth of information and very warm and friendly. She speaks Italian, French and English fluently. The staff are also friendly and helpful. The restaurant is set in idyllic garden (weather permitting) for standard prices. Breakfast is the included and tasty. A tour of the Castello is recommended.

We had a wonderful time at Alberto‘s and Laura‘s - it turned out that we didn’t do as many trips into the surroundings as planned because we just wanted to enjoy the beauty of the garden and the amazing views. It was the perfect ending of a fantastic vacation in Italy - I hope we will be back next year :) We received a fantastic welcome, home made bread, jam and pasta - and immediately felt like home. Grazie! One thing to mention is that the apartment is kind of thin-walled towards the second apartment - that didn’t bother us at all, but might be of interest for fellow travellers who are sensitive to noises. All in all, certainly one of the best accommodations we have stayed in!

Enchanting location, we loved the property and the surroundings. Perfect spot for a getaway and to feel fully immersed in Maremma. The recommendation list was great and Greta even gave us some extra tips, she was lovely. Huge bonus, not sure by what miracle but, there are no mosquitos in the area! Also the house is very well isolated and if you leave the windows open you will have a perfect cold breeze all night long. Little dream spot, will definitely come back again with a friend🤍🤍✨

Rosanna is very kind and helpful to the needs of others. She met us in the main square to accompany us to the room, as if she were coming to pick up old friends: one of those people who is a pleasure to meet. We were warmly welcomed with homemade treats and a local wine – a wonderful start! The place is clean, well equipped and has everything you need. You immediately feel at home. The location is fantastically beautiful and significantly better than the photos suggest. Alfonso and Riccardo are extremely personable and helpful. A quiet, relaxed atmosphere completes the stay perfectly. Would love to come back anytime!

We enjoyed the peace and privacy in this beautiful place. There is a beautiful, large (fenced) garden with outdoor furniture. The owners are warm and waited for us at the beginning for a short tour. The departure was done via a key safe. Very nice that there was a bottle of wine and cantuccini waiting for us! In addition, there was the convenience of being allowed to use food items from the kitchen cabinets. The owners are very cooperative, helpful and quick in communication. The house and linens were sparkling clean. It's also nice that there are bottles with shampoo, conditioner and hand soap in the bathroom. The only small point could be that it seems a bit cramped for 6 people (see listing). But we have a proverb in the Netherlands: "There are a lot of makke sheep going into a small loft" :)
