Studio in Tuscan farmhouse with pool & views

The studio is nestled in a beautiful Tuscan farmhouse on an olive farm near Casole d'Elsa, an unspoilt hilltop town in central Tuscany. The stone farmhouse has been restored over the years to create 3 totally separate apartments (one of which is my home) each with independent entrance , private terraces and garden space. The farm is surrounded by unspoilt countryside with spectacular views and magnificent sunsets. It is a calm and relaxed place, an idyllic retreat away from the crowds.

Capannacce more than a Farmhouse: La Casetta

Capannacce is a special place for us. Farm, but not only. It is home. For us and for the animals that live here, horses, chickens, cows, felines and canids. Indeed, the heart of the farm is the breeding of racehorses, English thoroughbreds. And of the Pontremolese cow, a native heritage breed. We are immersed in the Crete Senesi, where every summer sunset is a delight. The countryside made of quietness that soothes, but not far from the town of Rapolano Terme and all related comforts.

In porzione di un antico casolare del 18esimo secolo per 4 o 5 persone. L'abitazione è su due livelli: si entra da una vetrata al pian terreno dove si trova un salotto; al piano superiore camera matrimoniale, camera a due letti (si può fare matrimoniale o aggiungere un letto anche se la camera non è grande). Bagno con doccia e lavatrice, cucina con grande antico camino e lavastoviglie. La casa è parte di un antico borgo che domina una bellissima vallata, il paese si raggiunge a piedi.

A restored ex. hey-barn has a spacious bedroom, a bathroom and a kitchen.Access to the entrance is by a open "piazza" that also is the access to one of our other apartments. By a small staircase is the dedicated outdoorspace, table and chairs. The shared pool is open approx. end May to end September, time may vary. Heating system ONLY with wood-stove, handeld by guest.Not included in the rent a local tourist-tax; 2 euro/day/person over 14 years, the tax has to be paid in cash.
