Wonderful stay a la Ridolina. We’ll be back!

We had a truly wonderful stay at Mauro’s place. The house was exactly as we imagined — cozy, peaceful, and perfectly located for exploring Tuscany. The apartment was very well prepared, with a helpful guidebook full of local tips and sights. We were also warmly welcomed with a lovely surprise: delicious cookies with jam and a bottle of wine — such a thoughtful touch that made us feel right at home. Thank you, Mauro, for your hospitality — we’d love to come back one day!

Everything perfect! The village in the mountain, super!

Very easy to find and close to funicular that ran every 30 minutes on schedule. At least 5 restaurants for lunch and dinner. Small store for basics. Terrace facing northeast was wonderful in the morning. Umbrellas for shade if needed. Washer with folding clothesline to dry inside or out. We only used the main bedroom and bath - both on second floor. Very nice. The second bedroom was on the second floor and second bath was in the basement - did not use those spaces or the sitting room in walkout basement. Kitchen stocked with basics for electric coffee maker (a bit noisy) and hand brother. Gas stove for heating milk. Toaster oven. Large grid freezer with many ice trays. Enjoyed the cat that showed up A few times. Easy 20 min walk from main train station (not Centro) to funicular. Main station also had many bus connections like to Grotta Giusti but only to swim in outdoor pool. You can’t swim in the cave - too bad. Would love to come back.
