Holiday rentals with a pool in Castillonnès

We had a wonderful stay at Ewa’s place! It was well equipped and had everything needed for a week’s stay. The pool and surroundings were lovely and made for a very relaxing time. We hope to be back some day!

Beautiful stay at Monsegur. Very private, peaceful stay with friendly locals. Julien is wonderful- nothing is too much bother and we visited his parents family run restaurant which was opposite the house and our favourite place to eat during our stay. Kids loved the pool and garden. Highly recommend.

The Moulin Neuf is a stunning old mill house situated on a river and in extensive grounds. There is a lovely pool area and a serene sitting area to eat al fresco overlooking the waters. The gardens are not manicured and the interiors are quirky, full of historical artifacts, but we loved the ambience. Plenty of parking space and communal living space. The bedrooms are variable.

A gorgeous old stone house with chic updates. We only used 3 bedrooms and they were all comfortable with modern baths. Many places to gather, especially outside. The living room was lovely and welcoming. The farnhouse kitchen was very well supplied. The pool house was to die for and we had cocktails and even dinner there one evening. The views! Gorgeous, with castles and hot air balloons. The hosts live on site and were delightful when we ran across them but very discreet. It definitely felt like “our” property. Nothing negative to say, and we were blessed with fabulous weather! It’s in the heart of the must see towns along the Dordogne, with many restaurants and sights within 5-10 minutes. Our holiday at Morganes House was SO perfekt. I lost my husband four months ago and I needed the peace together with my children and this house was more than perfect for this - so thank you.

What a beautiful discovery! We were delighted by our stay at the Ferme du Moulin de Paillères, located on a beautiful estate. Myriam, our very friendly hostess, welcomed us very warmly and we were delighted to be able to chat with her throughout our stay. Thank you again for the little welcome touches. The cottage is superb, spacious, very well arranged and equipped as well as tastefully decorated. We were able to enjoy the beautiful shaded terrace for lunch and dinner. And what to say about the view? Exceptional! The place is fabulous and offers a total change of scenery. In love with nature and calm, we were delighted. The large and beautiful swimming pool located a few meters from the cottage, also with a beautiful view, also gave us good moments of relaxation. This is definitely one of our best AirBnB rentals. The whole family has been won over. We recommend it warmly.

We had an absolutely lovely stay at Marine and Christian's. The grounds are beautiful, with a secluded pool and animals everywhere. We had everything we needed in the house and really appreciated the extra touches - hot tub, on-site massages and horse riding. Christian and Marine were warm and incredibly accommodating. The village of Gensac is tucked away in the lovely Saint-Émilion countryside. The one-time convent feels like a special place, a quiet and peaceful retreat to return to after our days visiting Bordeaux, Saint-Émilion, Bergerac, and environs. The suite is spacious, very clean, has useful amenities, and we settled in easily. A vase of fresh flowers on the dining table and a bottle of local wine were nice touches that we especially appreciated. John was a helpful, informative, and friendly host. We enjoyed meeting him and will remember our stay there fondly. Thank you, John.

Perfect location, met by hosts at convenient time to us. Very accommodating. Walked into Sarlat, took 20 mins. Steep walk there and back! Ok for us. Variety of menus available in Sarlat, spoilt for choice. Can’t fault the place.

We had a lovely stay on the Sarlat side. The accommodation offered is as described, the bedding is pretty good. One small thing: remember to bring your utensils for the BBQ. The pool is nice, but only one of the 2 was open when we stayed. On the other hand, it's often hard to fully enjoy it because of the world and the kids jumping on you... A guide sheet is available in the home with local must-sees. Thanks again to Michel for hosting us.

We (6 adults) had a great time at Moulin de Rabine. The site is dreamlike, perfectly restored, arranged with a lot of worries and taste! All comforts! The pool is very well maintained, spacious - a great place to rest! Cancon offers a few shops including a good baker. The Villereal market, about 10 km, offers excellent regional products. Conclusion - the mill is an ideal base for discovering the Lot et Garonne, and the Dordogne.

Bucolic location. Ideal for a stay with friends away from the fury of cities!!!

Pleasant and quiet house and exteriors. We were warmly welcomed by the owner of the estate who gave us a lot of tips to visit the region which is rich in castles and visits. We were 5 girlfriends, this house was our little paradise, we highly recommend it!
