Beachfront holiday rental in Central California

Sean's cottage is an absolute delight, we moved in as though it was our own home. Worth reading previous reviews mentioning building works next door. As we were prepared for this (they started 8am promptly Mon-Fri), also ants (which didn't show up) and the racoon in the bins (which did show up) none of this was an issue, and was reflected in the reduced rental. Sean was an excellent host, replied speedily to any queries, including calling a plumber for a minor problem. The cottage is the most homely of places, there's everything you could need, the kitchen is generously equipped and the beds are very comfortable. The pretty patio is full of flowers and birds. Since it was April, we were not outside in the evenings, but it seems noise is an issue with neighbours. There are polite but firm notices requesting no outside noise after 9pm which could be difficult on hot summer evenings. This was one of our favourite Airbnbs, the location is fabulous, so much to do, we were busy all the time

We had a lovely time at Yan Fang’s place, the location was perfect - we walked to the beach almost every day! It was also convenient to have the Muni metro stop right at the end of the street, we rode the Muni all over town (inexpensive and easy!). The house was clean and comfortable and Yan Fang included extra snacks and kitchen items for us, which was nice. We loved our time here and would recommend.

We had a terrific stay at La Sirena! The location can’t be beat - a few minute walk to town, and just steps from the beach! The place itself was clean, nicely decorated, beautifully furnished, and had everything we needed. And omg the heated bed was amazing! So nice for those foggy beach nights and mornings. Jeff is a great host - proactive and helpful via message. There was a crew doing some brief construction and Jeff reached out ahead of time to let us know. Overall it was a great and comfortable stay. I would definitely recommend staying at La Sirena!

We enjoyed our stay and the great hang out space that came with the unit. Great location. Brendan was next door and his restaurant was a great 20 second walk from our front door! great live music on staurday as well. If you are looking for mellow and sleepy, not really a good place on a weekend. The neach was quite active .. We'll likely go back!

We loved our short stay here last year so we planned another trip this year! The location is beautiful, serene, and quiet. The house is clean, spacious, comfortable, and the views are amazing. We enjoyed the local farmers markets, great trails, daily walks on the beach, and easy access to towns along HWY 1. This is truly a special place we hope to return to again.

Laura’s place was spot on for our short stay. Beach was a stones throw away, which is where the kids wanted to spend their time. The place was perfect, it was clean, spacious, and well equipped. Detailed instructions for the apartment to go alongside the stay and useful local information.

This is a great place to stay! The house was so clean..beautiful views..we saw a whale from the family room. Very hospitable, Bernardine was easy to communicate with. Our family cannot wait to return!

This neighborhood is safe and peaceful. We have stayed at The Dunes numerous times over the last 4 years. Lisa’s home is beautiful and inviting. We all felt very comfortable and relaxed. It is such a gorgeous area and the staff at the front gate is always so helpful too. I had to reach out to Lisa multiple times throughout our stay and each time her responses were quick and respectful. It was a delight to chat with her and we are definitely planning to come back and would rent this home again.

Wonderful stay! We used the property as a base for exploring the local national parks - very convenient location! The property/house was clean - we notice small things and think the cleaning crew does a good job. It is rare today that online pictures accurately display the current condition of a property, but all online pictures are very representative of the property! Obviously the pool/hot tub were amazing, especially upon return from a day of hiking, the afternoon heat of California and with kids! Perfect dwelling for a young outdoor family looking for a resort like feel at a fraction of the price! Furthermore, the privacy and quietness of the location will best any other place in town. Excellent stay and the hosts are very responsive, often immediately responsive, and offered great recommendations. Overall, great property, location and value.

Beautiful resort on the ocean cliff. Walkable to the beach, access to their sports club down the street and lots of other amenities. Great place for family vacations or couples getaway. Very peaceful!

We had a wonderful short getaway at Sue’s place! The condo is just steps from the beach, pool, and jacuzzi. Falling asleep to the sound of the waves was relaxing, and the ocean breeze was very refreshing. It was exactly what we needed to reset and recharge. Everything was just as described, and we would stay here again! Thank you, Sue!

The decor was delightful! Very well outfitted with everything you need.beds super comfy. Really good size. We had more than enough room. I appreciate that Crystal saw no issue with my service dog joining us. I was a bit disappointed that you had to be on the balcony to see the beach. There was a complex in the front blocking most of the view from indoors. I also had issue with parking. The garage was only for small cars and the street parking was inconsistent and required several steps. My handicapped daughter found it a bit difficult. The area was not easily walked being on a very very steep hill. I wish there were more info in the description. All in all, it was a gorgeous place and really clean, highly recommend for non handicapped folks.

It was beautiful, private, and a hidden gem! We had lots of fun and enjoyed all the views throughout the house. The house is even better than the pictures. We had our 2 boys, had plenty to do between the beach, books, basketball, spa, ping pong, and games! We definitely recommend and would go back! Not to mention I love artichokes and this house is located in artichoke city!! So amazing!! 10/10 you won’t be disappointed!

Amazing views of the Pajaro River and Pacific Ocean. Short walk (300 yards) to the beach along a boardwalk or enjoy the views from the livingroom through the large picture windows or deck. Perfect for a couple or young family (the two twin beds in the second bedroom are quite small but my 20 something daughters had no complaints). Abundant bird watching opportunities along with the occasional sea lion\seal and otter.

This stay is absolutely amazing. Comfy bed and furniture. Stocked Kitchen. Steps to the beach. Closet full of beachy things. We had fun flying the kite. Built bonfires just over the dune on the beach. 🏖️ Don’t hesitate to book. This place is it.

Overall we had a great time at ORV rental. We know the area well and love to visit for the day but this trip we wanted to stay for a couple of days. The apartment was well decorated and very clean. We did have trouble finding the 4 accommodating bath towels for our party of 4 but eventually did locate the remaining two towels. The adjoining guests in the apartment next door were quite loud and the sound very easily traveled into our unit. There’s not much that can be done about that at this point but something to be aware of. Overall we had a great time and would recommend.

My family of 4 had a wonderful stay! The pictures didn't do it justice - all the upgrades were well worth it and my family thoroughly enjoyed the stay there. My was very responsive and helpful. So glad we found it! Would definitely stay there again.

I love the location. I love the main home and the apartment with outside entrance. I love the garden backyard and the privacy. I always stay here when I am in Cambria. Nick is a 5 star host.

Awesome for kids! Our daughter couldn’t get enough of the bathroom and had so much fun! It’s conveniently located. Walk to the beach and near lots of good restaurants. Would absolutely stay again!

One of my favorite locations ive stayed in. Beautiful scenery! Beautiful home, comfortable bed! I'd love to live there! Only complain is the entrance to parking, if you have a low car, the bottom will scrape horrible if you dont hug the wall. and if youre staying downstairs, youll hear upstairs foot steps, but that was only 1 morning. besides those 2 complaints, its a excellent Beautiful home!

This place was cute and comfortable. Very close drive to Pismo and surrounding places to visit. It was clean. Lots of towels provided which is a huge plus. Washer and dryer made it convenient to rewash a few clothing items. Comfortable and cozy little backyard. Overall we had a great stay and I would definitely stay here again.
