Beachfront holiday rental in California

We were looking for a special place for our 40th wedding anniversary and this cottage far exceeded our expectations! it was simply beautiful! and our hosts were incredibly helpful. we hope to return again

My husband Josh and I had an unforgettable time at Cindi’s place in Sea Ranch. The home was even more beautiful than the photos—unique architecture, cozy design, and right on the beach. Every evening we watched the waves crash on the rocks just outside the window. It was peaceful, stunning, and truly magical. Cindi was a fantastic host, super helpful and kind. We’re already dreaming of coming back!

Perfect escape to enjoy Summerland, nearby Carpinteria and Montecito too. Very clean and had all we needed, the deck was a lovely way to start or end the day. Thank you for hosting!

This is a wonderful stay and I will be back for sure. It was the perfect getaway to rest and relax and enjoy the beautiful beach. The room being so close to the water is spectacular!! I got lost in thought just hearing the waves.

Loved the location on the peninsula. We were able to walk to the beach, to restaurants and really enjoyed being able to use the rooftop deck. Beds were super comfortable and the place was very clean and had everything we needed for our stay. It was very helpful also to have the garage for our car and e-bikes since parking is such a challenge in that area. Appreciated our host being available for any questions on arrival and throughout our stay. Hope to visit again!

We absolutely loved our stay at this beautiful Mendocino home! The location was close to the Cabrillo Point Lighthouse and the Skunk Train, making it easy to explore the area's highlights. The house was clean, cozy, and well-stocked, with plenty of space for our group. The peaceful views of the ocean, hot tub, and fire pit made it a memorable getaway. Highly recommend!

This home is gorgeous with stunning views! Especially at sunset :)…Hosts are very thoughtful and really paid attention to details with decor and amenities. Everything we needed and more was provided for. We went to SeaWorld during the day which was only a 10 min drive, but left before the fireworks. It was nice having a clear view from the comfort of the airbnb. I’d give more stars if I could. Perfect stay!

Omygosh, this property is magically magnificent. The grounds are absolutely beautiful starting with the beautiful staircase down to the property. The lake view literally took my breath away. I almost want to gate keep this property. The cabin was, clean, warm and cozy. Kitchen has everything you need. I had a wonderful steak dinner which I grilled outside and ate in the gazebo. The cabin is truly vintage and very unique. It really is amazing to step into 1940’s experience. This is my favorite Big bear lake cabin and I will be returning few more times this summer. Cindy was so amazing every step of the way. She checked on me to make sure I was safe, settled and happy. I absolutely love this property ❤️

Great place! super close to the beach. They even leave fun stuff like a closet full of things you need for the beach. We would stay again.

Our stay at Blake’s place was fantastic. It’s our second time staying at Blake’s place and we hope to return again as soon we can. His place is situated in the best place in my opinion. The views from their balconies are amazing and proximity to the pool and amenities are perfect, not too far away, it’s a 2 minute walk at most and is just far enough you don’t hear any noise from all fun people are having.

Great place if you are looking for a beach setting. Clean linens and towels, clean room. Kitchen has nice plates, glasses, utensils, etc.

This trip was awesome! The home at Hamilton Cove was perfect and the view is amazing!! My family and I cannot say enough good things about this place. We are already planning our next trip. Thank you so much!!

Had the most relaxing solo vacay at Britt and Susie’s pool house. The house was exactly as described. I felt safe and comfortable. I was greeted by Britt when I arrived and he explained how to use all the house amenities. I enjoyed the pool and hot tub each day, which were very clean and well-landscaped. This place is a dream for a couple or solo traveler like me!

Amazing stay and very well decorated unit with beautiful view. The place feels very cozy and homey and it has everything that you need. Will definitely stay there again

We enjoyed our stay at Andy’s place. It was plenty of space for 3 of us to stay. Great views. It gets a little warm at night in the bedroom without air conditioning but they do provide an extra fan which helps. Overall, the space was great and we would recommend to others.

Perfect location right on the beach next to lifeguard tower 61. Comes with beach toys, chairs, towels, umbrella, bikes , boogie board, so you don’t have to bring anything. Outdoor shower perfect for rinsing. Patio perfect for lounging. We had a great time. Parking is easy as long as you come early or come late. We came at 7pm on Saturday and there was plenty of parking as is true every morning. Less parking available in mid afternoon but no problem, we parked in the lot and moved the car later.

A wonderful and convenient spot, this place is close to everything you need! Walking distance to the beach, restaurants, shops, and convenient store! Very short drive to nearby places such as Balboa Island! The place itself was exactly as pictured, very clean and quant. Perfect for our family of 4! The only thing I would mention is this is the bottom unit, half our stay we were there with no one above us, the other half did have renters above and the walls are quite thin! Luckily our daughters have a sound machine and were able to sleep through the walking around upstairs! Nothing the upstairs neighbors could have done but just something to keep in mind being the bottom unit :) still a 5-star experience in our opinion with all the other great things this house offers.

We had a very nice stay with our kids in Pacifica. The place was very clean and everything in the kitchen was well labeled. The view from the place was beautiful. Each day we were able to see whales. Our kids loved walking down to the beach, that was close by. So many trails to hike on in the area. The host was very responsive.

we stay at AIR BNBs a lot, all across the country and this was by far the cleanest home we have stayed at. the view from every room is just amazing. only downside to this amazing house is how close it is to the road, seems like everyone in carlsbad loves their loud exhaust. the road noise is quite a bit all day long. obviously not the fault of the owners, just pointing it out. the beach across the street is all rock, but so worth visiting. we went to the tide pools every day for 7 days. the state beach is right around the corner. looking forward to coming back

Our hosts were very responsive and very kind. They covered all the bases — had everything we needed and the space had stylish furniture and chic design. We loved relaxing on the sofa and watching games on the TV or the bed. The swivel stand is great. The bathroom was spacious. I savored my morning coffee with the views out the patio, beautiful. We’re looking forward to returning in the future.

We celebrated my husband's birthday weekend at Ruby's Cottage, the perfect beach escape for his surfing passion. The cottage is adorable, cozy, and steps from the beach and 0.5 miles from some great restaurants. The decor is lovely, and the quality finishes exceeded our expectations. The cottage has everything you need for a day at the beach. The fold-out couch was surprisingly comfortable, even for our backs. Checkin and out was a breeze, with simple instructions that we truly appreciated. There’s plenty of storage, but be sure to bring your own condiments if you plan to cook. Please note that this is not a sleepy beach town. The cottage is on a very popular beach. It can get busy in good weather and passerbyers can get loud. If thats not your vibe, consider something more inland. Lauren, our host, was incredibly responsive and helpful. We would absolutely stay here again, perhaps during the week for better rates. Overall, we had a fantastic time. 10/10.
