Holiday rentals with beach access in Central Eleuthera

Great place to stay. Clean and comfortable. The host was friendly and helpful.

we stayed in the sunset apartment. the windows face the forest. it was very comfortable. we describe it as beach rustic. Doon, Taja's mom, who runs the Airbnb, was very helpful and available for questions and recommendations.

This place is absolutely stunning. The owner is incredibly friendly, the rooms are spotless and well-equipped, and the beach is right in front of the apartments. There are also beautiful cabanas overlooking the ocean, which made for the perfect spot to relax and watch the sunrise. What we loved most, though, was how peaceful and remote the location is - there are very few tourists in the area. We often walked along the beach for an hour without seeing another person.

My husband and I stayed at the Bird Cage for a quick wedding anniversary trip, and it was a wonderful experience. The Bird Cage was immaculate, with a modern and tastefully decorated interior. Although we spent most of our time indoors, the location was convenient, being just a short drive from Governor's Harbour, ATMs, shops, and more. Check-in was very smooth, and Solivia graciously allowed us to arrive early. She personalized our stay with a beautiful welcome message, wine, candles, and drinks in the fridge. The kitchen was well-equipped, making it easy for us to prepare meals at home. We felt so comfortable and relaxed that we didn’t want to leave. We would definitely recommend this place to couples looking for a relaxing and private getaway. You won't regret it! Thank you, Solivia; we will be back for sure!

We had a perfect stay with a perfect view. We enjoyed snorkeling, a bonfire, sight seeing. Spencer provided transportation to and from the airport. Rosie and Spencer are perfect hosts and very attentive and helpful. We fell in love with them.

Right adjacent to the water front.. beautiful beaches close to food store gas stations and public buildings…very convenient and very comfortable!! Will definitely book again

Loved the place. Very quite and relaxing. No crowds at all. Beautiful grounds. Having a rental vehicle is a must. Jump in the car and the beach is 2 or 3 minutes down the road. Once at the beach, I never saw more than 5 vehicles total parked down there. Sometimes you had the beach to yourself. This is not a place to come to if your looking for night clubs, bars and a party sceen. Bring a book or two and a comfy beach chair!

John the actual host was super helpful, nice, and responsive. There was a miscommunication and he had a solution immediately! Thank you so much for having us. Will definitely recommend to others and go back in a heart beat! Eleuthera was a very beautiful place with a great culture and vibe!

Spectacular beachfront setting with open ocean views. Very private setting. Although there are other homes on Banks Road it felt like we had the beach to ourselves. Several good restaurants and pristine, sheltered beaches are just a short drive away. Home is partially updated (new appliances, new TV, new outdoor furniture and new covered beachfront deck with 4 lounge chairs) and features a spiral staircase to get to 2nd floor where the 2 bedrooms and a bathroom are located. We were very happy with our stay. Rachel was highly responsive and we would welcome the opportunity to visit again.

Loved the place! Cute and cozy beach cottage steps from an amazing beach. Alexander was super responsive and attentive.

Jolly Mon was more wonderful than we could have imagined. The house is absolutely beautiful and the scenery outside is heavenly. Plenty of space for our group of 2 couples. Very comfortable upscale furnishings and a perfectly stocked kitchen. AC was very comfortable however leaving the windows open was great for hearing the ocean waves. The decks for enjoying the beautiful scenery were fabulous. Comfortable deck chairs, beach lounge chairs, etc. The beach was perfect with crystal clear waters and soft pink sand just outside the door! Jane was fantastic with communications, answering questions quickly and providing helpful advice. We tried many local restaurants which were all delicious and the people on the island are incredibly friendly. This was our 3rd visit to Eleuthera and we can't wait for our next. Jolly Mon will be a top choice in places to stay.

Absolutely stunning location……the home sits on acres of beautifully landscaped grounds and a clean seemingly private beach. We saw only a handful of friendly neighbors (residents) each day. It was windy so the surf was rough but we found times when it was calm enough to snorkel on the reefs right off the beach. We did bring wetsuits just in case and that helped but we also swam in bathing suits, especially the kids. If it was windy at our beach, we could take a 5 min drive to Ten Bay Beach (and other spots) on the opposite side of the island where it was protected from the winds and the water was clear and flat calm. The house was extremely clean; furniture felt new; kitchen well equipped. The BBQ was a bit rough and no gas so we didn’t use. The downstairs bedroom/bath were furnished beautifully and worked out well but it had a slight smell of paint; didn’t bother the kids. Double Bay and this beautiful home made for a dream vacation and we highly recommend Wish House!

Beautiful house in a beautiful location! If you are looking for a laid back, relaxing vacay, this is your spot. The house is brand new and beautiful, the beach is outstanding. You are very close to the Caribbean side of the island, if you prefer calmer waters. Laura was very responsive and the local managers were very helpful and welcoming. Tips- if you’ve never been to Eleuthera- know that it’s more rural and laid back. There are resorts but it’s not so commercialized (which was ideal for us). Many times we had the whole beach to ourselves. There’s an adventure built in- navigating the island, finding good food spots, etc. The locals are incredibly Friendly and helpful and will give great advice for places to go and things to do. When booking a car- really try to get an SUV. We were a little late to the game and got a car instead. It’s do-able but the roads can be a little rough and to get to most things you have to drive unpaved roads. Overall great trip!

This was our 8th trip to Eleuthera together so we were very familiar with this particular area. We were very happy there with the house and each other. The exterior photos of the house were sub-par on-line. But I was amazed to see how mold and algae free all of the exterior surfaces were. This house has been well taken care of inside and out. The effort that has been put into the landscaping was obvious and much appreciated.

This property is perfectly situated right in the middle of the island making commuting easy from GHB. It's waterfront. I was able to snorkel right from the property beach. Clean, comfortable, spacious. There is a full working kitchen if wish to cook meals while staying here. Everything great for a couple or a small family. We loved staying here and would absolutely book again. Great property.

Nicole’s place is lovely and as pictured with beautiful panoramic views. Nicole was very responsive. Very remote location, plan on renting an SUV and driving 1.45 minutes from airport to reach Nicole’s home and stopping along the way for food and beverages. Please take banks rd to acces the home and not queens hwy. as you could get stuck. If you wish to visit any other islands such as Spanish Wells or Harbour Island you will need to drive back towards airport for those visits but well worth it! Lots of driving on this beautiful island. The island is stunning. The people are so welcoming, friendly and felt extremely safe and family friendly, highly recommend.. Nicole’s home has all the amenities you need. Beach is rocky but also lovely just steps from the front door. We loved Tens Bay Beach picture perfect which is a 20 minute drive, we had a wonderful time at Tippy’s and on Friday night you have to go to the fish fry in Governors Harbor for dancing and drinking.
