Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Central Texas

Mary and Ken’s wildlife ranch is hands-down the best Airbnb we have ever stayed at. It’s private, serene, perfectly situated in hill country, just outside of Fredericksburg. The home itself has everything you need and is the best stocked Airbnb I have ever encountered. The wildlife was amazing… we easily counted over 60 wild deer each day coming and going, as well as wild hog, turkey, and many birds. As an Airbnb host this is the level of hosting I strive for… they have thought of everything and ensure that you are well looked after; they are kind and generous hosts. I would highly recommend this Airbnb to anyone who is looking for a getaway away from the crowd, but close enough to go to town if you want to.

We had a wonderful stay at Eickenloff Retreat! The home is beautiful, clutter-free and well kept. It was cozy and we loved the extra touches (like bags of popcorn, coffee, razors, toothbrushes in case you forgot yours, etc.). Our kids loved the pool and I really enjoyed the many birds we could view from the backyard. I saw 3 male bluejays at once! We will definitely book here again!

Jay was an awesome hostess, keeping great communication from the time we booked until we left. He really shows interest in their guests having a perfect experiencel We had a great stay at this beautiful property. It is well decorated and well maintained, and it had everything we needed to feel right at home. There are many amenities to entertain your group, and the backyard is such a treat. I would definitely recommend this home for your next getaway!Overall 10/10! Hope to come back soon!

Absolutely wonderful stay! Everything was clean, and easy to find. Communicating with the host was quick and easy as well.

I spent a weekend at this place and really enjoyed it. It’s located at an excellent location close to Lake Travis and there is plenty to do! It has a nice yard and great views of the surrounding area. The bed is very easy to fold and convenient to put away to have more space during the day. Most importantly, Matt was very responsive and helpful in giving us the best experience possible!

The stay was wonderful! This is my second time to Fredericksburg. This is the 1at I stayed out of town & now will continue to do so. The hills were beautiful & both nights we got a rain storm. The beautiful windows woke us up early to enjoy the day. Laura, had coffee and a ton of kitchen amenities. We look forward to coming back

Casita is a fantastic vacation spot. A beautiful home with a great outdoor space. Lori is a great host and responds very promptly. All the rooms are fully equipped, including thoughtful touches for kids like games and more. We had a wonderful time and would definitely consider staying here again in the future.

Was the perfect place for my wife and I to get away for a few days. Plunge pool was awesome and the view was great. Bed was also very comfortable

This is one of the best places we have ever stayed at! Very Clean! Very Cozy! Great Location! I like the gated entrance, and the keypad on the door. We felt safe here. Loved the little deck to sit on in the mornings and evenings. Peaceful Location. Linens and Towels were very clean, and the whole rental smelled amazing! Tv and WiFi both worked Great! Walmart, Family Dollar, Dollar General and Several other stores are all near by. Lots of Fast Food Places Near By. Austin is about an hour away, and Belton Lake is about 30 mins. We went to Austin (Barton Lake) and rented paddle boards, we went Swimming at Belton Lake, it was very nice!! Both Great Places to Go! I can’t say enough great things about this rental. Jennifer is AMAZING! Very friendly, and kind. Responds very quickly and answers any questions you have. Communication was Excellent! I recommend renting this place 100 percent! We will be visiting Texas again, and I will definitely be staying here! 5 Plus Stars for sure! 100% !!

Peaceful & just what I needed for a “me treat”

Our stay was so peaceful and pleasant! The homemade Greek cookies were the icing on the cake! Short drive to downtown, minimal street traffic and the cowboy tub was the perfect temp for an evening hangout! Will stay again!

Living space as described. Very clean. Very economical. Had everything we needed. Would stay there again when visiting family. 😊

Karen’s carriage house was perfect for our brief stay in Georgetown. It was immaculately clean, and all instructions were easy to follow. It had everything that we needed and had everything needed for someone who was staying longer. We highly recommend Karen’s place and wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again.

Had such an amazing stay, Annie’s place was so relaxing and a nice place to crash after a long day of school. I can’t wait to be back! Annie left clear instructions on how to find the place and provided us with great recommendations of coffee spots and restaurants to visit while in town!

We had such a wonderful time! the condo was clean and smelled great. Bed and pillows were comfy. The balcony had a great view of the deer and courtyard. Zach was very responsive and gave great directions on parking and how to locate the condo. We will definitely return!

Escape to the Hollows was the perfect place for a “staycation”. It was one of the best vacation rentals I’ve done. John was super responsive and friendly. When you stay there you want for nothing. You don’t need to bring anything other than your clothes and personal necessities. I’m already thinking of coming back to the Austin area for thanksgiving and Escape will be at the top of my list!

I really loved our stay. It was perfect for our my husband and I, toddler and 2 dogs. They had a pack and play, which we didn’t expect, and the location is pet friendly. There was a dog patch area a few steps away from our room. The main bedroom mattress is a bit uncomfortable, but it was okay for a short stay. The place was very clean, and stocked with the basics.

We had a wonderful vacation. The location had beautiful views. Place was inviting, clean and comfortable. Host was friendly and quick to respond. Great place to enjoy the pool, golf, deer, spa, massage and lake activities. ❤️

Great hosts and place!

We had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb! The home was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had everything we needed for a comfortable visit. The kitchen was well-stocked and convenient to have. The view was absolutely stunning and made our time there even more special. The hosts were warm, responsive, and made sure we felt right at home. We truly enjoyed our stay and can’t wait to come back!

This was the best Airbnb I’ve ever stayed at. Within 2 minutes of walking in, I felt very at home and comfortable. The space was gorgeous and the design was well thought out. Everything matched the photos and the amenities that were listed were all there and available for use. Fully planning to book again!

We enjoyed our stay at this place. We had a few questions as soon as we arrived and Emily was extremely responsive and helpful. The complex was peaceful and we appreciated that they had rackets for us to go play tennis. All the essentials for cooking and enjoying the outdoors were provided. My kiddos also enjoyed the few games and even books to enjoy while we were in the apartment.
