Holiday rentals with lake access in Cham

We had a great time staying at Eckharts place. The place was clean, spacious, and flooded with light, in a very peaceful neighbourhood with all stores in walkable distance. There’s a neighbour’s car that comes greeting in the garden every day, which is great. We had some funny scaredy cat moments as sometimes the ceiling was creaking mysteriously…. And at night the bed made mysterious sounds… but nothing too scary 😁 The host is very responsive and helpful. Thanks for having us!

Regula and Sascha are absolutely lovely people and their home is a gem. Like others have wrote, they have thought about every detail from a wood-fired oven for pizzas to an herb garden to pick for meals to even pre-paying for our bus card to get around town. They were so kind to show us around their home when we checked in and explained everything we would need to know. The property is stunning and so peaceful with access to the lake for swimming or to take the ferry as well as a bus stop at the end of the street. I hope to stay in their home again and I would recommend it to anyone considering! Paradise! Wish we could have stayed longer and enjoyed more sunshine. Thank you both so much!

Our group of 8 adults and 2 children had a very comfortable and lovely stay! The house was very clean, beds were comfortable and it was very conveniently located to public transit. I would absolutely recommend!

Well-maintained family home in a prime location by the lake, close to the train station and shopping facilities. There is so much to do - sports, hiking, cycling, lake, museums. Very nice landlords who always have time for you.

Very close to station. Would recommend restaurant Anker for a great Swiss dining experience. Great heating including underfloor heating especially welcomed in cool and cold weather. Host very responsive. Would easily recommend.

Lou's accommodation matches the description and we liked it very much. You can reach the lake and shopping opportunities on foot and have a parking space right outside the door. Check-in went smoothly. Overall, we had a great stay.

We absolutely loved staying at Andrea’s house! The apartment was cozy and well-equipped, but the highlight was definitely the stunning view — we enjoyed unforgettable sunsets right from the window. It was such a relaxing and beautiful stay. We’ll definitely be coming back again!

The location of the accommodation is in a place that fits the appearance of the accommodation expected in Switzerland, with a view of the lake. The milk, juice, and bread prepared by the host were excellent. It's a place I want to come back to again.

The location of the house was excellent. It was in a very quiet and peaceful area. There were nearby places to meet your needs, such as a market and a bakery. It was only 10 minutes by bus to the center of Stans. If you’re looking for a calm, peaceful holiday and want to enjoy the beauty of Switzerland, I would definitely recommend it. The property features a separate parking lot and a private entrance, ensuring ease and privacy. The entrance to the building was impeccably clean, and the flat itself was spotless. Inside, the flat boasts a spacious layout, including a large balcony furnished with dining tables both indoors and outdoors. The kitchen was fully equipped and included a large freezer, making meal preparation a breeze. The bathroom was pristine and well-maintained, and the bedroom was generously sized with ample storage space. Additionally, there was a dedicated study adjacent to the bedroom, offering a comfortable space to work or relax. Can’t recommend this place highly enough. The view is stunning, the location is phenomenal, the view is breathtaking. Nicolas is a great host and will make sure your stay goes smoothly. Would definitely stay here again.

Hans place was great and Andrea was great at communication. The location is great, only 8 mins to the center station. The waterbody described is walkable however not much to do on this side of the lake. The apt building is sorrounded by office building and a construction site which can be noisy in the am on weekdays, wasnt much of a problem for us as we were out and about early most days. The bedroom was nice and clean, however had two relatively smaller pillows and I agree with someone on here that the bed couldve been a bit more comfortable. The place is kept quiet cozy even when it was 50F out, we couldnt control the indoor temp so opened the windows and used pedestal fan provided. The bathroom was nice and clean, however there were no shampoo/shower gel, its ok as we got to explore to the nearby Migros mart which is maybe a 10 or so min walk. The kitchen was nice and clean, had all the crockery that one would need, we made breakfast almost daily. Overall great stay and recommended

Truly a joy that Yael & her friends give us the opportunity to spend a few days in their little paradise! Amazing place, peaceful, easy to access on foot and by train with a sauna session, beautiful excursions and restaurants nearby! Highly recommendable!!

Beautiful location, friendly and responsive host. All amenities mentioned were provided. There’s no kitchen as mentioned, but can use microwave, kettle and hot pot to warm or cook basic stuff. No issues if you’re coming by car, but in case of walking, as all of the bus stops are downhill, it could be a tough walk. Also it’s because the place is uphill you get such beautiful lake view. Pool table is icing on the cake. So thankful to the host for letting us use washer and dryer. Also we were given croissants, nutella on arrival, overall a great stay.

This place is a romantic spot on Lake Zurich that is truly one of a kind. Those who have a narrow understanding of nature and can do without luxury will really feel comfortable and at home here and love this place... Cool.
