Beachfront holiday rental in Chania

This is a lovely apartment in a peaceful and beautiful location. It is spacious and practical. Kostas is a generous host and was very helpful with local information. We had a great time and can recommend without hesitation😊

Words and photos cannot describe the beauty of this place. We had an absolutely magical visit. The home is comfortable and very clean and everything you need in the kitchen. Stella was the perfect host. She was so kind and thought of everything you might need. Make sure to follow her recommendations for restaurants as they were amazing. Thank you for the delicious homemade treats and a wonderful and relaxing vacation. We look forward to our return.

Absolutely beautiful location, 2 minute walk to the main Old Port area and tons of nice shops in the back streets.

Jeronimo is a really great host. Very, very friendly and helpful. We felt very comfortable and welcome right away. The accommodation is beautifully located above the small Soudabucht with magnificent views. Two recommended taverns are within walking distance. Jeronimo's bar is also great and not to be missed. We can highly recommend the beautiful, simple but functional accommodation.

Great place directly opposite the beach - fantastic if you have toddlers like us. We ended up having dinner at the restaurant next door every day because the kids could play out there while we ate. If you want to visit the most beautiful beaches on Crete, this west coast location is great (though it should be noted that the beach near the house is actually facing north, which means it is thankfully not frequented by tourists). The host is very friendly and willing to help with any issues. The airbnb was very well equipped and prepared for our visit (including items we would not ordinarily expect like fruit, cake, and even a dinner on the first night - though we obviously knew about it based on previous reviews). We would come back here in a heartbeat!

We are delighted with the stay c/o Eleni. She is attentive to the details that make you happy (small attentions on arrival, enough to prepare a small breakfast). We loved the rooftop terrace area with the city and bay views. We'll be back if the opportunity arises.

A spacious apartment, very well decorated, bright, with beautiful views, very well located, the noise of the sea cradled us at night. The beautiful terrace for breakfast or dinner. We had a square for the car right next to the floor, super practical. Konstantinos was very quick, very nice A perfect week

We had a wonderful time at this beautiful, well-kept, and lovingly furnished place. Everything you need is there. The host was super friendly and gave us some good recommendations for restaurants and the surrounding area. Upon arrival, the fridge was already stocked with drinks, fruit, and other items, so there was no need to go shopping on the day of our arrival. It was a perfect stay, and we would love to come back.

Beautiful villa in a great location. If your are stunned by the pictures, you sure will be stunned by the villa itself - it is simply a gem. It lies at the top of a hill overlooking Kissamos. If you don’t mind a short, steep walk, you can even reach the town (and a supermarket) per foot. If there is anything to criticize then it is the kitchen equipment - a few more big bowls for salad etc would be great. Ioannis is a great host, super friendly and helpful. We are definitely coming back.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this beautiful villa! The house is truly luxurious, in perfect condition, and tastefully designed with great attention to detail. The layout of the rooms is simply brilliant — spacious, comfortable, and perfect for relaxing and spending quality time together. The heated pool was one of our favorite features — always at the perfect temperature to cool down and unwind at any time of the day. The location couldn’t be better: just a few minutes’ walk to the beach, where you’ll find plenty of great restaurants, cafes, and shops. A very special thank you to our amazing hosts! They were incredibly warm, welcoming, and always just a message away. Every little question or request was answered within minutes — we felt truly taken care of from the very first moment. This little villa was the perfect find for us! On a beautiful little cove with a beach across the street, private pool, very quiet and serene—a great hike up to a cave on the adjoining mountain, restaurants and groceries nearby, drivable to many of the islands locales—but even if you only get to nearby Chania, it’s such a charming town and well worth it. Stavros is the most gracious of hosts, very responsive and thoughtful, left us treats, kitchen was well stocked with basics, and he was full of helpful information to make our stay amazing. Wish we’d stayed here longer, honestly!!

This place is absolutely amazing. My wife and I spent our honeymoon at Aikaterinis apartment and we were completely satisfied. The inside provides everything what we needed. The description was absolutely accurate. The fridge is very spacious and there is a freezer as well. We cooked quite a lot therefore this was very helpful for us. The pool outside is very clean and also the temperature was perfect for the hot days in Greece. You can really relax at this place because there is not a lot of tourism at this area on Crete. Also the beach in front of the house is quite nice. We put our hammock under some trees and were watching the sunrise over Paleochora. I can totally recommend this apartment, especially for couples who want some relaxing time and together.

We had a great time 3 generations of family together right on the beech although it was very stony , only 1 bar a short work from the villa buts thats all you need will go again

This was the most beautiful place I’ve seen in my life ! The view from the villa was incredible. The hosts were amazing. Easy check in, several excellent recommendations for food and activity, breakfast was cooked for us every morning, they were always checking on us to make sure everything was fine. Overall it was an amazing stay I highly recommend.

Lovely place in Chania. The view of the lighthouse from the dining table never gets old no matter what time of day. The completely open-concept space is a little bit too open at times. My friends and I found it somewhat difficult to get privacy for changing/dressing etc. The bathroom was also not in a super convenient location and would occasionally not get hot water at all. It can be a bit noisy in the evenings, it is in a very central/busy location with shops and restaurants abound. Be warned: the store directly below does not shut off their music until 23:00 and is very audible through the floor. Maria was also a great host and responded quickly to any ask! Kitchen, beds and other amenities were just right, would recommend!

We really enjoyed staying in the apartment. Everything was very clean and the kitchen was well equipped, the bed was comfortable. The ocean view from the balcony is amazing and there are good restaurants along the Nea Chora Beach. There are two supermarkets within a few minutes and it is just a short walk into the old town. On premise parking makes it convenient to explore Crete by car. Also, the host is very nice, considerate and helpful if you need a restaurant recommendation, taxi or cleaning.

Kladissos apartment is a great little retreat, perfect location away from the more crowded areas of Chania, it's only a short walk to the quiet beach and only a short stroll to the old town, lighthouse and bus station. The apartment was perfect, clean, secure and fitted out with everything you need for your stay in Chania, it also boasts a well maintained garden patio area full of colour. The family were very welcoming, kind and perfect hosts for our stay in Chania, our only issue was we only stayed for 1 week but if we ever return to Chania, Kladissos will be the first place we will look to book with again. Not only was Stelio so incredibly welcoming, but he made sure we had the best experience possible. Mission accomplished! The views were amazing and location was absolutely fabulous! The neighboring restaurants (below the complex) welcomed us with open arms, assuring that they always take care of their neighbors. We got welcomed with food and hugs each morning and night, and truly could not have asked for a better experience. Stelio gave great recommendations and his home was exactly as the photos showed! We will be back!
