In the grounds of a 15th century château - featured in a number of home & interior magazines - this beautifully converted, spacious, former stables is set in glorious gardens with views over our 10-acre truffle orchard. Full of character and charm, thick local limestone walls keep the house cool in summer yet cosy during colder, truffle-hunting months. The covered terrace is perfect for alfresco dining. Wood burning fire place, 3 bathrooms, 4 bedrooms, an access to the ecologic pool of the property… This almost abandoned building required a considerable amount of work to turn it into a comfortable and authentic guest house. "La Bergerie" 9-person gîte with pool

Pool closed from October 30 to the end of March. The "La Bergerie" Gîte awaits you in a quiet location in the center of the Loire Valley castles and in the heart of the vineyards between Tours and Saumur. It is a family cottage, all gatherings for an evening are prohibited. The land is shaded and our indoor pool is heated to 29°. House renovated in 2018 with large rooms that can accommodate up to 9 adults plus two babies maximum for good times with family or friends.
