Holiday rentals with an accessible-height bed in Channel Islands of California

I booked this location for our 10th anniversary. I couldn’t believe it was available. When booking this location you are right in the hub of Malibu. Nobu is within walking distance, so is carbon beach. There is a balcony top where you can people watch. Also a private little outside area for yourself. They even offer a garage space which was really cool. Responses were quick and easy. I even booked an extra night pretty effortlessly. The Host Stay Awhile, Emily, Dan and Jelena are a great team have more locations and I will be renting from them again when the time aligns.

We loved every moment of our stay! The apt was cozy, impeccably clean and perfect for our weekend needs. We loved having two bathrooms, and enjoyed using the beach chairs, towels, and folding chairs provided, when needed. The apartment courtyard provided a sweet spot for our little ones to enjoy the fresh air, and the bbq was open for our needs, one evening. We enjoyed sitting out front, surrounded by the beautiful Santa Ynez mountains to the east and the Pacific Ocean to the west ...truly made for a perfect time!! With the beach access a hop, skip and a jump away, and the main section of town and park so close by, we left feeling we'd be returning, soon! Thank you, Elena, for a wonderful stay! Everything was perfect!

This was one of the best experiences I had on Airbnb in a while. The hosts were incredibly responsive, helpful, and the airbnb itself was in a great location. 10/10 would recommend this to anyone.

I had an absolutely wonderful experience at this Airbnb! The space was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described—if not better. The host was incredibly welcoming and responsive, making check-in smooth and stress-free. I’d definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and hassle-free stay!

Great location. 10 minute drive to Disney, walking distance to other attractions. Very clean. The only downside was no bathtubs in the unit and we had two toddlers terrified of showers. The building and common areas were inviting and clean. Great stay overall!

We had a great stay! The house is very spacious and had all the basics we needed. I loved having enough room and closet space to totally unpack my clothes! It was wonderful to be walking distance to the beach as well as shops and restaurants, and just a short drive away from Downtown. I appreciated that there were also kid-friendly touches like plastic cups and plates, and our seven year old daughter loved the pool.

Its a family home at its finest at the heart of the city. North Hollywood. Peaceful neighborhood. Complete amenities, even kitchen utensils. We super loved the place, the interiors , the space everything. Cant wait to book again next time we visit USA. Thanks Sabrina for being a gracious host to us. Until next time.:)

This was the best Airbnb I have stayed in yet! ... and I travel quite a bit! ... it is part of my job...as well as hobby! From check in to check out...the home itself...the pool and spa...the items provided...the attentiveness of Jorgen...simply a complete 5 star experience! I will be returning in the future! Great location, easy access to beaches, downtown. Comfy king sized bed. Take advantage of the fresh eggs, they were delicious. The unit is an extension of a family home but has a private entrance and feels separate. Hot tub, garden and sauna are part of a shared space with the host

We had such a lovely stay at this hidden gem! From the moment we arrived, everything was exactly as described—clear instructions made check-in a breeze, and the back alley entrance gave the place a unique, tucked-away feel that we really enjoyed. The hosts were thoughtful and detailed in their communication, which we truly appreciated. The space itself was clean, cozy, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We especially loved the little touches, like the bamboo by the gate and how easy the parking situation was (a big plus in LA!). The WiFi was solid, and we felt very safe and well taken care of. This listing was exactly what I paid for. It was very clean and spacious with a nice TV & fast internet. The host is extremely responsive and friendly even during late hours! I would definitely recommend this listing for anyone taking a trip down south.

We had a great two-week stay at Rob and Deb's place in Carpinteria. We were 1.5 blocks from the beach and could walk there easily. They have beach chairs and toys for people to use. We loved using the chairs. We ate in most of the time and had what we needed to prepare meals. Basic supplies were available, like soap, paper towels and hangers. I worked remotely at the high kitchen table, and it was a great work station. We loved the ability to walk to everything in Carpinteria and we hope to stay there again. The laundry was accessible and available and I also loved the saltwater pool. Rob was super responsive when we had questions.

Great little spot to stay in Carpinteria. Less than a minute to walk to the beach and about 5 minutes to walk to downtown Carp.

Such a beautiful large condo Great location and Terri was so kind and helpful. Had access to e bike which was so fun. Hot tub was relaxing and really enjoyed having an outdoor warm shower after going to the beach. Loved this spot and would definitely stay here again!

Loved the location and proximity to all entertainment and the beach. Only one recommendation: replace and/or fix the sliding door and sliding screen.

Excellent Stay in LA with an Exceptional Host Review falls short due to the max character limit Christine is the perfect host. We connected instantly over coffee. She even gave me a tour and we went out for drinks and dinner! In the morning we started our day with coffee. I loved her recommendations and especially for food – always spot-on, even for my picky palate. She made healthy eating in the US easy, no junk food. Her place is great, love there is a garage. I avoid hotels, preferring locals for authentic tips. Also I liked we went out having drinks or dinner. When I was by myself I like the fact, she responded so fast to my messages. Future travelers: A MUST-STAY! (Except in 2027, I'll be back then 😉). To Christine: You truly convinced me to return. You took the time to show me around, without you I wouldn't have seen LA like I did. You went from a host to a friend.Thanks!
