This house is the perfect secluded getaway. It has an amazing pool and jacuzzi that you never want to leave with a spectacular view. It is hands down the most unique home I’ve ever been to. We loved interacting with the emu’s and there is the sweetest little cat that roams around the property. There are tons of lights switches everywhere that would at first seem overwhelming but everything is labeled very clearly making all navigation through the house a breeze. We would love to book this Airbnb again in the future.

Jan and Dale's place felt like home. When we arrived we had a nice surprise from them, snacks, a bottle of wine and fresh flowers. The neighborhood felt friendly and it was a 5 minute drive from the beach. They exceeded our expectations and we hope to return soon!

Logan was such a great host. He was very warm and welcoming and was quick to respond whenever we had any questions. The backyard is even nicer in person and we enjoyed this spending time with family out there. Would definitely recommend you stay here next time you’re in the area.

Hallgrim was a very gracious host. We were moving from another Airbnb & needed a place to stow our refrigerated food for 3 hours. He easily accommodated that & ultimately said we could just check in early. One caveat - be sure you understand the street parking protocol. It works but it can be tight, especially late at night. We always found a spot but you will need good parallel parking skills. The house is personal & eclectic & you will feel like you are staying at a good friend’s house. This is not the usual “just the basics” corporate Airbnb. It is a home. My daughter & I felt very comfortable staying here & would definitely book it again. The Canyon has a unique history. In addition to looking thru the beautiful coffee table book Hallgrim has left out for his guests to enjoy, you must watch Echo in the Canyon for an extended stroll through the musical history of this unique canyon. You’ll be singing Mamas and Papas songs on your way down to Lilly’s Cafe in no time!

So relaxing to stay here! Nice to be away from phone service and close enough to the hot tub. We were sharing the space with another couple in the glass house, with whom we had very minor and lovely interactions. easy to feel a sense of privacy even when sharing the land. Would love to come back and stay longer!

This is a gem. Perfect location. Great house. Set up perfectly for our family of 5. The hot tub and back yard are so cute. The photos do not do this place justice. My family and I made some great memories here and would love to come back someday. John is a great host and we are so happy we chose to stay here.

Catie's place was really clean and had everything you needed to have a good stay. So many interesting items to look at, and I feel like I need another stay to see everything. Lots to do on the outside property and plenty of games on the inside. The kitchen was WELL stocked and the beds comfortable. The common rooms are big with lots of places to sit. Close to great hiking areas and town. Book it you will love it!

Ari’s place is fantastic. I sat out in the patio every morning listening to birds and having coffee. Nice quiet cul de sac. House was exactly as photos represented. Amenities and kitchen and bathrooms were resort level. Great place and I’ll be back! Thanks Ari.

Tamryn's place exceeded my expectations in every way. The pictures were accurate, and yet somehow did not do justice to just how special the apartment or its surroundings are! There were many thoughtful touches throughout: there was ground coffee, half and half, Greek yogurt and granola available in the fridge for breakfast, hand lotion and sunscreen available in the bathroom, and it seemed that the linens had been washed in scentless detergent, which I really appreciate because I'm super sensitive to soaps and scents. The apartment itself was surprisingly spacious, with a full-size bathroom and cute kitchenette and dining table overlooking their gardens. It was perfect for a weekend stay and I found myself wishing I could stay even longer. Many thanks to Tamryn and her family for the comfortable and well-appointed guest suite!

Angela’s place was fantastic! She left a lovely welcome note answering any questions we could ever have and also had an awesome little binder of all sorts of activities we could do and restaurants we could have eaten at (with directions included!) which made everything that much easier. Really thinks of her guests! Thanks Angela!

Nan and Conrad's Blue Agave Airbnb was amazing! It was perfectly located to see the best that Santa Barbara, Montecito, Summerland and Carpenteria have to offer. Within minutes we were able to get great tacos, great hikes, and even catch a polo match. The Airstream itself was great. It was a fun and unique experience. We stayed comfortably with 2 adults and 2 kids, and it had everything we needed. As for Nan and Conrad themselves - well, they were two of the best hosts we've experienced with Airbnb. They were so friendly and accommodating, and were so kind and gracious with our 4 and 7 year old kids who were enamored with the horses and chickens. We would highly recommend this location and host, and hope to return one day ourselves!

I had a wonderful stay peaceful, comfortable, and even better than expected. The space was just as described, if not more charming in person. The host was incredibly responsive and friendly, making everything smooth and stress-free. Highly recommend!

Such a cute find with an ocean view and 0.6 mile walk to the beach! The place is very cute inside and out with numerous outdoor seating options and gorgeous landscaping. We loved walking on the neighborhood trail, down to the beach, and to the cute downtown summerland. Only a ten minute drive to downtown Santa Barbara. Highly recommend!

Fawn’s place was very clean and cozy. She had everything needed to have an excellent stay at the beach. I wish I could have stayed longer. Fawn is very polite and very friendly. I highly recommend her place for anyone wanting to stay in Oxnard. 5 stars all day.🙂

Patricia was a very accommodating host. We needed to extend our stay several times while we waited for an apartment to open after the Altadena fire. The house is spacious, has a nice and friendly character, and is on a lovely street--Orange Grove. Very nice backyard. Friendly to pets. Great for kids. The shower is a little funky, but we made it work. I highly recommend Patricia as a host.

Such a beautiful nature spot! Wish I’d booked another night so I could spend a whole day by the creek. I’ll definitely be back again!

Cute place and great location!

Best thing about this place is the location and outdoor deck/patio space with awesome view. Quiet lovely street but near lots of action of Silver Lake. The apartment itself is very nice as well.

Such a lovely cottage with beautiful landscaping. Easy to get in and out. Quiet. Michael was a great host and welcomed us when we arrived. The welcome sign was a special touch!

We had a wonderful weekend birthday trip for my daughter's 6th birthday to Universal Studios, and this place was perfect for our stay, just about 10 minutes away from the park. There were five of us in total. The six-year-olds shared the XL full bed with me, my mom was comfortable in one of the other beds, and my stepson had his own single bed. The kids had a great time swimming in the pool on Friday when we arrived. Since we were mostly out and about, it was the perfect spot to come home to and rest. The girls absolutely adored Patrick's son's cat, Poppies, such a sweet and gentle kitty! Patrick was there to greet us at check-in and gave us a tour of the space. He was very kind, welcoming, and available if we needed anything. Thank you so much, Patrick, for your hospitality!

First off I want to say the pictures don’t do the back yard any justice. It’s so beautiful and the perfect get away trip without having to break the bank. Definitely worth every penny We loved it and we will be returning again! P.s. Just make sure you bring some bug spray there is a bunch of mosquitos in the back yard, we didn’t have any so don’t be us lol. 🙌

My wife and I booked a last minute escape from the city for the long weekend and couldn’t have been happier with our choice. Murray greeted us upon our arrival, horses feeding by the driveway and gave us some carrots so we could introduce ourselves to them! Murray then led us straight up the hill to our airstream with breathtaking views. The property was sprawling with phenomenal sunrises and sunsets that started and finished our days. You can go hiking on trails adjacent to this property or spend time exploring the acreage. We went to the beach to surf during the days but made sure we took our time to enjoy the views while cooking our breakfasts and dinners at the rental. We even had fresh eggs arrive at the RV from their chickens. The nights were cooler but rest assured we were in no rush to leave the comfortable bed, and warm blankets when we could drink coffee, read and watch the sun rise from there! 10/10 we will be back and we highly recommend

The house is so close to lax airport and was very close to my aunts house. Soooooo many amenities in the house! Pool was refreshing, lots of comfortable patio furniture, comfortable beds, lots of games, books, many movies. Maria was so prompt to answer questions (thank you so much)!! Would stay here again without a doubt!! ❤️
