My husband and I decided to extend our honeymoon stay in the area and the lodging we had been staying at couldn’t host us for the extra day, which is how we came to find this gem! We loved this apartment and wished we could have stayed longer! The location was great and the home itself was just STUNNING. From the low lights & jazz music playing on arrival, to the cute & homey decor, to all the extras (robes, espresso, cozy blankets), this place completely impressed us. Oh, and the outdoor area was just an extra plus! The host was super responsive and sweet and couldn’t have possibly done anything better, it was all perfect! We would 100% recommend this stay and we hope to return for an anniversary trip!

Great location, right in the center of downtown Charlottesville. Within walking distance of the downtown mall which was great. Space was beautiful, clean, and well maintained. Would definitely stay again!

We loved our stay at Becky’s place! The detailed check-in instructions made finding and getting into the unit a breeze. The views from the porch were absolutely gorgeous, and we appreciated all of the recommendations for hiking and vineyards. Overall, it was a fantastic experience!

Henry’s place was a wonderful home base for our weekend trip to Charlottesville. The apartment was spotless, and the view is beautiful. They provide a binder of local recommendations, which we found very helpful. We had planned to spend some time in Charlottesville/south of Charlottesville for one day, and towards the Afton area for another day - Henry’s place is perfectly situated between both of those areas. He was always quickly responsive as well. Perfect for a stay in Charlottesville- thanks Henry!

Absolutely perfect place. In town for a concert and celebrate our anniversary. This place had everything described plus so many thoughtful extras.

Very peaceful and nice place

Rosemary's Nest is awesome! The view off the front porch is a different movie every night. Old Rag, White Oak Canyon and the Skyline Drive are about 40 minutes away, Culpeper is 16 miles away. I suppose we were a little different type of guests, as we stayed ~six months. I was there to recover from a full hip replacement and the steep-ish driveway was perfect for physical therapy. Rosemary and Joe became like family, kept an eye out for us and they invited us upstairs for many delicious dinners and a Civil War quiz. If I have to get my other hip done in the next year or so, we certainly will be returning!

Brad’s home was a welcoming space after our long roadtrip. It was very clean and included off-street parking. The living room was comfy, the bedroom and bathroom were spacious, and the kitchenette and dining rooms were just what we needed for our short stay. Natural light from windows only came in from the living room which was fine with us as we just needed a place to rest after a day of hiking. It was lovely to wake up to the freight trains (which you can’t hear from the dining or bedroom) and mountain backdrop of the George Washington & Jefferson National Forests. We could hear the guests in the unit above on our first night, but all was quiet by the time we slept and we did not wake up/ hear more noise the rest of our stay. The summer heat was just beginning, and the home stayed cool throughout the day. We would stay at Brad’s home again next time we visit the Shenandoah National Park!

Geneieve's place is a wonderful classical home a quick walk to the downtown mall on Charlottesville. Everything about the stay was smooth--communication, entry, ample supplies, lots of space, and even a pumpkin bread. The bathroom is extensive and there is no shortage of storage. The little, bright eating nook was a perfect place to think about what to do for the day. It is an older home but that is part of the charm.

Robyn's place was easy to find and in a great location. Kitchen was fully stocked and we had everything that we needed. The apartment is in the basement of the existing house, however we never heard anyone above us. We did have a car but no issues with street parking. We were able to park directly outside the house the entire weekend. We will book again next time we are in the area.

Loved our stay here. Loved it. The view was incredible! The home was clean and cozy. It will be one of my favorite stays that Ive had. And Frost and Fire across the street had the most amazing pizza and pastries, as an added bonus.

This is a very comfortable, clean, and beautiful place. The surroundings are quiet and peaceful. I especially loved the second floor, on nice days, I really enjoyed the sunlight there. The large windows offer a great view of the outdoors. The hosts are very friendly and provided detailed instructions for everything along with restaurant recommendations. They were very responsive and quick to answer any questions, which made everything so easy. Their warmth and kindness created such a welcoming atmosphere, and they paid attention to every little detail to ensure a comfortable stay. I truly enjoyed my time here. I would have loved to extend my stay, but unfortunately, the place was already booked for the following days. I would definitely stay here again if I get the chance!

Ed and Camille were amazing, they have a sweet apartment with a great Jacuzzi and pool. We were in town for a wedding and were blessed that Ed’s spot was open as it was only 15 minutes from the wedding venue. The apt was clean and everything was working, the kitchen was spotless as well. Ed and Camille were great, very communicative and nice people.

We arrived late after an evening graduation. Easy self check in. Welcome package was a nice touch. The place was equipped with what was needed for a enjoyable stay. We had a car issue and owner messege me with solutions. Fortunately our family picked us up and we were able to continue celebrating. Was able to charge battery with her charger and extension cord. Maya assistance kept the graduation celebrations the focus. Much appreciated !

We enjoyed our stay. There are a lot of steps. I had assumed (which I should not have) that the pool was going to be right outside of the main house. It was not. The main house is upstairs. There was, however, a pool house with a kitchen right next to the pool. Otherwise everything was comfortable and our family had a good time.

The host has always been so communicative and welcoming. Great experience

Great location. Very close to campus at UVA and walkable to restaurants groceries. Quiet beautiful neighborhood. Comfortable beds and pillows. Very clean. Looking forward to returning next year. Also, Yates was a wonderful person.

If I could give Jennifer’s place more than 5 stars I would! The property was at the end of a seasonal road so it was very quiet. Jennifer was nice enough to leave us some eggs from her chickens that were delicious. Great place to stay if you’re trying to get away from the city for some peace and quiet

Perfect for a quick getaway for my friends and I! The best part was being super close to the ski slopes/snow tubing and the late check out. We originally planned on just one day of skiing and snowboarding, but got to get in a couple extra hours with the late check out and close proximity. Thanks Carissa!
