Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Charlottesville

We had a such a wonderful time! Everything we needed was there and more: plenty of coffee, granola bars for the hikes, coal for the grill. We felt right at home. Thank you for this wonderful place!

This home and hosts are both rare gems, from the ease of checking in to the homes beautiful ambiance, its makes a great place to get away and enjoy nature. We would love to come back and explore more of the trails and wineries.

This property was just perfect for a weekend meeting up with old friends for a local wedding. The area is gorgeous and peaceful, and the porches in the front and back of the house are a lovely sitting area to spend time. The layout of the house is great and feels spacious while also being cozy. The only thing to keep in mind is that there is only one bathroom - certainly not a dealbreaker but it required some juggling with 6 people in the house. Overall 10/10 and we were reluctant to leave!

We had a wonderful stay at Natalie and Joe's home. We came into town for a wedding. The home was a great place for us to relax, rest, and get ready for all the wedding events. The beds were incredibly comfortable. Everyone slept so well. Everyone enjoyed being able to hangout together in the living room and the porch. The home is in a great location. It's walking distance to the downtown mall. There is also plenty of off street parking, which we all appreciated. We highly recommend Natalie and Joe's home.

Amy and Gareth made sure to think about every detail. They made sure that the purpose of our trip was celebrated. Amy provided a list of local recommendations and it was so helpful! The aesthetics of the house is also so natural and relaxing. There was no need to stress out about anything because the house came fully equipped. The walking path down to the river was also so beautiful! We cannot thank them enough for such a memorable time!

First of all, Kate is a fantastic hostess. She was very accommodating, welcoming and communicative. I greatly appreciated her hospitality. The property is gorgeous and peaceful. It is like a peaceful spa oasis home away from home. You can find comfort in every room. The hot tub is glorious to soak in while staring at the nighttime sky or for watching the sunset. There is practically no light or noise pollution. You can hear the creek down the hill flowing. Most of your neighbors are cows grazing in a field down the drive or an adorable family of foxes on the property. It is a perfect spot to just get away, relax and enjoy a natural setting tucked away in a hillside. Kate has mindfully ensured guests have almost anything you may need to prepare meals in the kitchen. Also plenty of towels and linens. You are about a 15-20 minute drive away from everything C-Ville has to offer. Perfect distance to have access to all you may need and to have peace and quiet. Truly a wonderful spot.

We had a wonderful stay at Bruce’s place as we were in town for my daughter’s graduation at Liberty. It was about an hour drive but totally worth it! The place was clean, modern, and the setting was absolutely beautiful and so quiet! It was big enough to fit my family and parents with 3 bathrooms, 3 bedrooms and extra sleeping spaces in the living room and foyer on the main floor. It had all the amenities in the kitchen including a washer and dryer and detergent for us to use. There is an Aldi about 20 minutes away and a Trader Joe’s about 35 minutes away. We spent our mornings in the gorgeous porch/deck outside until we had to leave. This place is a gem! We will be back again! Thank you!

We had a great stay! We arrived late and were so excited and surprised to see the pool that was right across the parking lot. The next day we realized it was closed for repairs but Kathryn was very quick to respond and was able to grant us access to the resort pool. Birthday weekend for the kiddo was saved! We would definitely stay here again. Walking distance to the market and pool, even the restaurants at the resort.

A Great and Wonderful place to relax and unwind. Peaceful surroundings, trickling waterfall, beautiful nature all perfect to rest and disconnect. Plenty to do with trails to hike, lake to fish or kayak (kayaks provided by host), gorgeous super clear swim pond, fire pit, string lights…. Everything was awesome. Met the host in passing, super friendly and hospitable. Great to chat with. Love their vision and execution of their facilities! Loved the farm store which housed delicious treats and some groceries and even fish bait for fishing on their lake. This place has it all! Our kids cried when our mini vacation was over because they didn’t want to leave (neither did we!) Our youngest wanted to sell our house so we could live here and never leave. We will be repeat renters and can’t wait to visit again. Thank you for sharing your property with us

Our family of four needed a quiet get away, and we enjoyed the beautiful days and evenings, inside and on the deck! Hikes nearby, spa nearby, restaurants, grocery, gas also nearby. Great resort year round! Lots of activities if you want them, and lots of peaceful nature if you want. Great!

We really enjoyed our stay at your condo. It was nice to be in a newer unit. It was very clean and comfortable. The location is great being walkable to Fire and Frost, a coffee/wood fired pizza restaurant, and we prefer the upper mountain location also being walkable to golf, tennis and trails. We hope to come back to Wintergreen soon. It is a great place to relax!

Great stay! Perfect location and space was great. A tad smaller than what it looked like in the photos, but overall, great! The kitchen did not have any pantry space, but we made do with a shelf above the microwave and bins on top of the fridge. A day prior to check-in, I received an email stating the pool in the complex was closed for repairs. A bit disappointed at first, but it ended up working out really well. We had access to the SPA indoor and outdoor pools and the outdoors ended up being too cold to swim in. The indoor pool was no problem at all and they were very accommodating with lettings us have access throughout our stay. We would stay here again for sure!

We had an amazing stay, Jeff and Bridgett’s property really is a slice of heaven! We loved being able to relax on property and explore local vineyards and antique markets! Ended up having the perfect honeymoon!

Our time in Waynesboro was comfortable, clean and calming. The decor had many great conversation pieces. We enjoyed the record player, maps in the kitchen, and the backyard oasis. The property is lovingly cared for. Wow, the hot tub was a highlight! We also appreciated the supplies provided such as detergent, coffee, and toiletries. We feel lucky to have had the opportunity to stay here. Even the scenic drive from the north to the Waynesboro area was beautiful.

If you're looking for a whimsical, cozy place to spend a weekend (rain or shine) that is centrally located to thr Nelson 151 and Lovingston (which offers an ABC store and a Food Lion for last minute needs) this is the spot for you! We traveled with three humans and two dogs and found the cabin very comfortable and clean. This is one of the best-stocked Airbnb I have ever stayed at (and shootout to the previous guest who left the eggs--they were eggselent)! The beds were cozy and soft, the air units in the rooms were great for individual preferences. We enjoyed the hot tub and fire pit as well as the porch swing. For pup parents: there is mulch in the front and pebble rocks in the back. If you've got a particular pup who prefers grass for their business, there are small patches of grass available as well as extra leashes and stocked treats. All in all this was a wonderful stay even with our rainy weather!

This was a perfect place for a peaceful getaway. The fireplace was a treat, and we had a very cozy stay. It's hard to add to what other reviewers have already said, but here is one detail: on a winter's night, when the moon is down and the sky is clear, the stars are fantastic! Because there is no nearby light pollution, the view from the deck of the night sky is deep and brilliant.

Perfect Place for our College Girls Reunion …. The home is located in a private and beautiful area. The kitchen, bedrooms, bath are all well equipped with anything you need. The host left of some fun treats and wine. We had a wonderful stay.

We greatly enjoyed our stay! We went to a concert in Charlottesville which is about 30 minutes from the property. We decided to make a weekend out of it and found this property and we are so glad we did. The house was private but still only less than 10 minutes to Walmart, other stores, and restaurants. The house was very clean and large. Very accommodating for pets although we didn’t take any this trip. The property was well marked for walking trails and had beautiful scenery. The house itself was fully stocked with everything you need with the host providing toilet paper, paper towels, linens, towels, wash clothes, trash bags, dishwashing detergent, etc. They left notes providing instructions for everything and were readily available to contact should you have any additional questions. They provide crates, dog beds, and a place to bathe your dog with towels specifically for them. We will definitely be back and take our dogs next time!

Very much enjoyed a short but sweet stay in this cabin! Appreciated the little touches including both fireplaces being set up for use upon arrival & maps of the area being laid out on the kitchen island. This quiet, pet-friendly Airbnb was a great escape for the weekend. Thank you for having us 🙂

We had an absolutely amazing time at this stunning little cabin! Although the cabin is rather rustic, the views are spectacular and the privacy makes you feel like you’re in your own world. Would stay again!
