We were so pleased with our stay at Missy's place. The attention to detail for labeling almost everything, tons of extras like extra coffee, teas, different sweeteners, snacks, etc all made us feel welcomed. Having little extras like toothbrushes, shampoo etc out and about whether we forgot them or not was an added bonus. The interior layout, bed, murphy bed, kitchen was great and well equipped! We were in for graduation ceremonies at JMU, but had we come to stay for the recreation area, we noticed all the brochures for places to go, notes about local restaurants, sightseeing. Not that we needed it much, but 2 TV's and various viewing options plus DVD's would make this a great stay if the weather was not cooperating. This was the most comfortable stay we've had since first starting with Air BnB - Great job Missy, thank you

What a beautiful little oasis. I was born and raised in the area, and it was so wonderful to stay here and get such an authentic blue ridge experience. The property is perfect for nature lovers and adventurers who want to be away from the hustle and bustle. The stars are bright and you can hear the late night bugs chirping. The creek that runs into the river gurgles right next to the firepit. There is a train that runs close to the house which is also one of my favourite sounds. If you are a city folk who is used to fancy hotels, it may take some getting used to, but it is a perfect spot if you want a magical retreat in the woods.

We stayed at the guest house while in Charlottesville for a wedding and had a lovely stay! The home is beautiful and conveniently located. The hosts were thoughtful and kind and reached out to me a few days in advance to welcome me and see if I had any questions. They accommodated an early check in for our group which was extremely helpful. They even stocked the refridgerator with fresh fruit, bread, yogurt, cinnamon buns and orange juice for us! I would recommend this home for your stay!

This place was great, just what we needed! Laura was amazing - she helped me with an alternative stay when I had a change come up. She was responsive and you can tell she cares about her customers to make sure they are comfortable and had what they needed. She proactively reached out to me on a concern I didn’t know about but it turned out everything was fine. We had everything we needed when we stayed. Thank you Laura!!

The gps had us traveling down several small one lane some roads. There was an easier route but I guess we were meant to see all the beautiful cows and scenery. Plus sometimes there wasn't cell service in the roads. Being in the mountains gave us an immediate sense of peace! Barbara's house is in top of the mountain and very serene. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils though we didn't use them since our stay was short. The stores are a distance away so plan accordingly. It was a great place for a restful retreat.

This is the 3rd time we have stayed at Mountaintime Magic, and really enjoy coming back to visit. The location is a lovely and peaceful slice of the valley just south of Charlottesville, and truly is a magic location. Rich is extremely welcoming and friendly, check-in is always easy and the area is cozy and comfortable. There are some wonderful amenities that go with the rental and a beautiful outdoor area to relax in. The highlight is for sure the location and the host, five stars all around.

We had a lovely 2 night stay. Comfortably slept 4 adults. The house is well appointed. The fully fenced yard was amazing to have with our two dogs who loved sniffing around and exploring. It’s easy to drive to Culpepper or many of the breweries or wineries in the area. We’d definitely consider staying again.

Tanya has created a welcoming and comfortable space in a great location. The suite was immaculate and everything was in good repair. There's plenty of room to stretch out, and Tanya included lots of thoughtful details. The suite felt private and was very quiet. Parking and access are easy and convenient. The yard was a haven for both birds and travelers, offering plenty of entertainment. The location is great for those wanting to visit nearby wineries, presidential homes like Montpelier and Monticello, and the mountains. I was glad to stay at Summerfields Place and I hope to visit again.

We had an amazing stay at Kris and Lori’s place during our daughter’s graduation from JMU! Not only was their place spotless, it was fully stocked with everything we needed, had magnificent mountain views, and was so tranquil. Kris and Lori went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. We were greeted by them upon our arrival, and we entered our Airbnb to fresh flowers, a basket of goodies, purple and gold balloons, a delicious miniature Bundt cake, and chocolate treats galore!

Place was as described and looked like the photos. Host supplied essentials in case you forgot anything. Towels were nice. Clear instructions were provided for accessing the space. Unfortunately my door code didn’t work upon arrival. I messaged Mariah and I don’t think I waited 5 mins so host was very responsive and provided an alternate code just in case. Much appreciated even though she verified the code was re-programmed and working. Fan on beside table is much appreciated for those used to sleeping with a fan on like me. Overall a good experience and would book Mariah’s place again if back in Charlottesville.

Very clean and spacious. Comfortable furniture and beds. The view from the rental property is beautiful. Really nice to have peaceful surroundings after a long day traveling. Close to everything. A must stay place for sure. Great communication as well. We will stay here again.

This place was so amazing! it made u feel as if u had no worries in the world, and my husband and me went to get away before starting an aggressive chemo and radiation therapy to get rid of stage 4 cancer, so the fact we were able to forget it all and just relax was amazing! the host Gigi and Mike are just amazing people! they live on site bit weather u r looking for a hands on host or a private host they're there and killing it! they allowed us to feel like the entire place was just ours and they were just neighbors but yet always replied fast and were so sweet and informative! this air bnb is by far one of the best places we've stayed! they have something for everyone relaxing games pool hot tub sauna pool table fooseball cooking, it was just perfect! also if ur a animal lover the pups were sooo sweet! all 3 came and visited and the girl lady may gave the best loves so this place also came with dogs who give loves and are the best! thank y gigi and mike!! we will be back 😊

We stayed in "the Tavern" on this property. It was lovely and just charming! Leah was beyond responsive to my numerous questions, everything from last minute earlier check-in, to nearby clothing stores. I very much appreciated her quick replies - thank you, Leah! The accommodations were a perfect jump off point for us as we had several events at Keswick CC that we needed to attend. The weather was perfect and so we were able to walk there each day. Quick Uber trips into town and to Monticello (we didn't rent a car). Thank you for a lovely place to stay!

We had an amazing stay at Steve and Dianne's place and I would highly recommend you to stay there if you can, even if it means going out of your way - it's worth it. They are the most kind, warm, welcoming, helpful and lovely hosts! It felt like we were visiting family and they took such great care of us while also being considerate of our privacy whenever we wanted it. Their place is incredibly beautiful, serene, and peaceful. We enjoyed s'mores by the fire in the evening, swaying in the hammock listening to the light wind in the trees and in the morning we had our coffee down by the river that flows slowly at the edge of the property. We've stayed at a lot of Airbnbs and this is without doubt the best AirBnb experience we've had. With incredible attention to detail, Steve and Dianne went above and beyond making our stay a highlight of our US trip. The only thing we regret is not staying longer.

This was a great option for us while attending UVA graduation when all hotels in the area were crazy expensive. It was about a 10 minute, easy, drive and just what we needed for the weekend. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked with coffee and snacks which we appreciated. It is the basement apt of the hosts home so we did see them over the weekend and they were very friendly and helpful.

Kimberly's place was really nice. It was comfortable and clean. I really enjoyed the nice decor and furnishings. Even though there isn't a kitchen and a bit of trouble with the very small refrigerator I would definitely stay again.

Only stayed for 1 night for a work trip, but loved that I was able to walk downtown (about 10 minutes) to eat dinner then was able to come back and relax in the hot tub!

Quiet and comfortable home to stay in after a long travel. I appreciate the cleanliness. James was a very receptive host. We would stay here again if in the area again.

Great stay at Julia's. Location near Barracks Road shopping and the University (a short walk by European standards). Super kitchen with everything we needed. We lost electricity one day due to high winds and she had a backup generator and we were able to use the wood stove for heating (thank you!!). Super responsive. Lovely place and area. Thank you so much!
