Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Chassezac

Due to personal circumstances we had to rearrange this holiday 2 times, of which Remy was very understanding. We booked the villa based on how well the photos looked but were really not ready for just how much better the place was in reality! Le Magnanerie is tucked quietly away in a totally idyllic spot in a gorgeous old French hamlet, boasting the most impressive westerly views across the private pool of the Cévennes, with stunning sunsets. The covered outside area is spacious and perfect to escape the direct summer sun, and the thick stone building is naturally cool. Comfortably set over 3 pretty floors with portable air conditioning in the loft bedroom area. Kids bunk beds are perfectly placed and even though everything is wooden, nothing creaks. Local agent Deborah was very helpful and after driving from the UK, we were pleasantly surprised to have had our best family holiday to date here! We rarely return to holiday destinations, however we will certainly be coming back. Merci

Idyllic stay! The house is simple, pretty and functional. The garden is sublime and beautifully maintained. The view is breathtaking! We spent 4 wonderful days resting quietly, reading and bathing in the peaceful pool. We didn't want to leave! Note that the location is wild, so far from everything, you have to plan 30 minutes by car to access the shops. But it's really worth it! Thank you for the enchanted parenthesis!

We had a great time at this beautiful place. The house is wonderfully embedded in nature. It's very quiet, you only hear the sound of nature, the creek, the animals. From there we had a lot of opportunity to hike with our dog. Banne and the surrounding places are wonderful for those who love hiking or scenery. It was very clean and mega nicely built and furnished. Anne was very kind and discreet, we were able to enjoy this privacy very much. The apartment is well-equipped and has everything you need. Our short stay in Cévenol went perfectly well from our arrival to our departure. Many outdoor and sports activities are close to the cottage. The fact that there is no TV allowed our two teenagers to disconnect and we were able to enjoy family board games evenings (games available in the gite). The cottage is very well-equipped, cozy...it feels like home! Thanks to Mathilde for hosting us.

We had a wonderful weekend at your accommodation. A small haven of peace, where time flows to the rhythm of the surrounding nature! The cottage is made mainly of wood, which gives it incredible charm! We are bathed in the Gardon river located just a few kilometers from the cottage where many spots are available! Very, very nice holiday home in a really great environment. Of course, the view from the terrace and balcony is unbeatable, and it's worth coming just for that. The apartment is very spacious, modern and stylishly furnished and has really everything you need. Bed linen was provided on request. We would absolutely recommend the apartment and would like to come back ourselves, because the area is really great (especially at the end of May, when the broom blooms). Countless hiking and swimming opportunities.

Wonderful apartment! We had a very nice night during our bike trip. There is a bakery with very tasty baguettes and shops nearby.

The four of us (with two children) spent one night in Philippes apartment while passing through. Everything was as described and we were able to recover very well for the onward journey.

We really enjoyed our stay. The location was perfect, in the beautiful main village square, right in the centre of Uzès. It was peaceful, comfortable and the apartment was bright and cozy. It had a little outdoor balcony which was a nice bonus. We were thrilled to have had the opportunity of staying in this delightful place and the hosts were extremely helpful and friendly. We had an unexpected break at Cinthia's. Every detail is designed for our well-being. We had a great time sharing and laughing. We discovered lots of relaxation devices that we can easily buy. We weren't able to try everything in 3 days, it's too short. We'll be back, we have to.

Charming cozy cottage tastefully furnished, very well equipped, impeccable cleanliness, comfortable bedding. Perfect set-up for couple. The hosts are warm, the hospitality and responsiveness are impeccable and good recommendations. Very well located, it is both easy to reach Bagnols for shops while being surrounded by nature with lots of possible hikes nearby and beautiful sites to visit. Big plus for the stove with the wood provided, the flames are comforting in the cold season. We had a great time between beautiful hikes and rest by the fire.

A real gem in the heart of Valence! The apartment is – as described – a real gem: stylish, cozy and ideally located in the center. We were very happy to be there and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. A clear recommendation for all who want to discover Valence!

The accommodation offered by Florian corresponded in all respects to our expectations. It allowed us to experience a beautiful break and create beautiful memories with family and friends. We really enjoyed the natural setting, the garden, the house, spacious, which allows both to experience friendly moments and to isolate yourself if necessary. Both children and teenagers quickly took ownership of the space and enjoyed the outdoors as well as the upstairs game room, which includes toys, board games and a library stocked for all types of readers. The rooms are pleasant, at a distance from each other, which allows the early risers not to disturb the others! The house is nice, clean and tidy, you feel very good there right away. The old stone keeps it cool, which is very pleasant! We are delighted with our stay at Florian's, whom we thank for his welcome and availability and will be happy to come back!!

We had a super nice week in this beautiful holiday home. We were welcomed by the owners with the stove already on and some goodies on the table. The owners live next to the holiday accommodation and they will give you a warm welcome. There was also friendly contact during our stay. The house is beautifully decorated with lots of touches. Really a dream house with a large garden and views. It is very quietly located and you really feel at home. The village of Labeaume can be visited on foot, is a nice walk from the house. We also went to Avignon for a day, a short drive, but worth it. The Indy Park climbing park is also recommended. The bakery and a small supermarket are close by, in Ruoms you will find a large supermarket. There is plenty to do in the area. Dear Laure and Benoït, Thank you for the super nice week we were allowed to spend in your holiday home!

The atmosphere there is really great. It is very quiet and feels like it is in the middle of nature. Nevertheless, the great bakery, a small supermarket and a nice restaurant are within a five-minute walk. The vintage style of the furnishings and the garden with two terraces and a pool make the stay perfect. The pool is even bigger than it looks in the pictures. Lézan is very rural but well suited as a starting point for excursions. Fabrice's tips and hints were very helpful. We felt very comfortable there and there is everything you need for a vacation. Be sure to visit the organic winemaker next door and buy wine!

When I come back to CDP I would stay here again. A great location that’s very walkable with beautiful views.

a wonderful weekend for 8 adults, time for annual reunions. A very beautiful outdoor garden overlooking the lavender fields. Everything starts with a warm welcome from the owners (who live on site but are very discreet!). A magnificent and very well-equipped house, both inside and outside! An incredible swimming pool and petanque molky volleyball activities that allow you to stay all weekend in the middle of the greenery. Very good memories, thank you to Myriam and Pascal!

a place to discover absolutely, a river close by, very nice house, tastefully furnished, very nice garden, very nice pool, beautiful super practical kitchen, top coffee machine...As for the hosts, Christine and Pierre, adorable, very flexible on schedules depending on what is possible, we were 7 friends on a long weekend, delighted to have been able to settle in a little before the time and leave a little after...can't wait to go back!!!
