Our location is ideal for access to the UNESCO, Jurassic coast and local areas such as the amazing beaches at Studland, Kimmeridge, Lulworth Cove, Durdle Door and Swanage. The Coach House uses renewable energy where possible and offers exceptional comfort in a beautiful part of Dorset.

A cosy self-contained annex for 2 in a small village near Axminster and within easy reach of the Jurassic Coast, Lyme Regis, Charmouth, Bridport, Honiton, Sidmouth and beautiful countryside walks. Great village pub 5 minutes walk. Continental breakfast included! The annex has an en-suite shower room, double wardrobe, king size bed and food preparation area. Private patio with table and chairs for an al fresco breakfast or dinner and sole use of a small summerhouse with views of the Axe Valley.

The Old School at Hilton (Room 1)

This stylish and unique place sets the stage for a memorable trip. The Old School, build in 1851, is situated in the Capability Brown landscaped valley, near Milton Abbey. A quiet, beautiful location, ideal for walking, cycling and touring, 40 minutes from the Jurassic coast. Two guests can be accommodated - a private sitting room is available. Fully equipped kitchen with Smeg appliances, induction hob, microwave. Relaxing lounge area with Smart TV/DVD. Netflix. DAB radio. Wifi. Dining area with Ercol table & chairs. Private outside deck area with table & chairs. Quality bedding, towels and dressing gowns. Complimentary tea/coffee and biscuits to welcome your arrival. Milk, cereal & bread.

Great Coombe - panoramic views & lake

Great Coombe sleeps 9 & enjoys glorious views over the surrounding Dorset countryside. Sit on the patio/balcony & watch the wildlife without leaving the cottage. It has a large sitting/dining room, fibre wi-fi, a downstairs bedroom & ensuite wet room (+ pull out bed/cot for 9th guest, available on request). Upstairs are 2 double & a twin bedroom. The shared Games room is next door to the cottage plus lake, wildlife, walks & close to beach & Jurassic coast. Dogs welcome (£30 payable on arrival)

This room is light, large and comfortable with a beach theme; Chesil beach is only 4 minutes walk away whilst the world famous Portland Harbour is only 8 minutes walk in the other direction. TV, Tea and coffee making facilities are in the room and there is exclusive use of a bath/shower room. Breakfast of toast, cereals fruit etc is provided and excellence and quality are the aim. The host is very flexible, so if you have any dietary needs or preferences, it will be a pleasure to oblige.

Perfect for a relaxing stay in the heart of the Somerset Levels. Your own private entrance, a comfy lounge with open fire and a separate sitting room with a wood burning stove. Your staircase leads to a working area and your private bathroom & bedroom. The gardens are beautifully maintained & fully available. At dusk you may even see the badgers who live in the meadow. The area is surrounded by amazing country pubs, restaurants, walks & cycle routes with country houses & wildlife sanctuaries.

Self-contained bedroom, a sitting room and shower room. Your suite of rooms is separate from the house with its own entrance. The windows overlook the village duck pond and spring and pretty waterfall. There is parking, for your car, at your door. We're in a Dorset village with Trafalgar history, centuries old church, busy pub. The coast is only a couple of miles away. We are on the Dorset Coastal Path and the SSSI Jurasic Coast. £7.50 for a full Dorset breakfast. Evening meal £7 to £12.

Where to eat (takeaways are collection only) - Chinese, Indian, pizza place, fish & chips, Co-Op shop & 2 pubs. FREE breakfast: tea, coffee, milk, bread, jam, cereal (help yourself) & facilities for cooking light meals. Please note: Bathroom/toilet is shared with other guests, and there are NO TVs in the rooms. If you're looking for a room with en-suite bathroom or TV, please book elsewhere. House is clean and quiet, bedrooms have locks for your safety, great value for your money!

Large double bedroom with tea/coffee making facility and private bathroom. We are close to public transport & also within easy reach to Monkey World, Bovington Tank Museum, Jurassic Coast, Poole & Hamworthy Park, Upton House & Sandbanks. Poole town is 5 miles away. Our home is good for couples, solo adventurers & business travellers. We do offer a breakfast of cereals, toast, marmalade/jam and croissants which is complimentary & can be eaten in our conservatory or under the veranda.
