The windows overlook the village duck pond and spring and pretty waterfall. There is parking, for your car, at your door. We're in a Dorset village with Trafalgar history, centuries old church, busy pub. The coast is only a couple of miles away. We are on the Dorset Coastal Path and the SSSI Jurasic Coast. £7.50 for a full Dorset breakfast. Evening meal £7 to £12.

The cottage is a comfortably appointed chalet with its own driveway, ample parking and enclosed private garden. There is a wooden veranda with sea and countryside views. Inside there is one double bedroom and a further bedroom with a double bed and single bunk above. There is also a sofa-bed in the lounge.

The former artists’ studio in a converted barn in Thomas Hardy’s West Dorset - close to Chesil Beach and the wonderful Jurassic Coast. The art-filled space, with tall ceilings and exposed beams, is curated with art, sculptures, and ceramics by the artist-owners. Mid-century furnishings complement hand-printed wallpaper and antique rugs. Doors open to a private courtyard garden with a patio and fire pit.
