Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Chichester District

We loved our stay at Monica's place! It was exactly as described and photographed. Clear instructions and everything was perfectly clean and tidy! We happened to meet Monica when we arrived, who is lovely and friendly without being intrusive. We would most definitely recommend this as an excellent place to stay!

Wonderful cottage. Very spacious, clean, light & oldy-worldy! Really felt at home very quickly. Excellent facilitiers, very cvlear guidence and instructions. Tv first class which was good for the rainy days ! VERY comfortable beds. A great place to stay for a break. Sad to come home !!

We had a fantastic stay at Rob and Alison's, possibly the most welcoming and hospitable Airbnb experience we've had! The annex is beautiful, spacious and comfortable with a picturesque view of the garden. Rob and Alison have taken the time and care to add many little touches (including homemade jam!) that made us feel so valued and welcome. They are also happy to share their extensive knowledge of local interest places, plus there's a really helpful guide of local recommendations in the annex. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you both!

This was the perfect short break in a cracking location. My teenage daughter and I did some lovely walks, sat at the windmill at sunset, sketched at the ruined Abbey, went to Chichester for lunch via bus. Everything was just so easy and the house was impeccably clean, with beautiful quality furnishings and a really welcoming feel to it. We loved it. Thank you!

Great cottage with a lovely set up and in a great location. Just what we needed for the weekend and fully delivered.

Had a lovely stay at the Lodge. It was very clean and comfortable. Commuication from the owner was excellent. It is in a very peaceful location and has 2 pubs within walking distance. It is also within a short driving distance of so many varied places to visit or walk. We went to Bosham, Wealdon Downland museum, Fishbourne Roman palace, and the nature reserve at Kingley Vale and will be back again to do more. Would definitely recommend. Thank you

The annexe was very clean and comfortable. There was everything we needed - fresh bedding, towells, toiletries. The kitchen is very well equipped too. A 5 min walk to the town with lots of lovely shops and restaurants and just across the road from the theatre. We really enjoyed our stay here and would definitely return.

Wendy was away for our stay but Glen and their son Luke were very helpful and attentive. The flat although small was immaculate, spotlessly clean and well equipped - perfect for our short stay visiting family nearby.

Alf, was amazing always on hand to answerquestionsbefore& after booking, very responsive to messages. The apartment was perfect, clean, felt like home & had everything we needed. Alf kindly left a fabulous welcome pack of food & drinks. We travelled to see family and the accommodation was just what we needed. Would highly recommend Coombe Cottage. We will definitely stay here again. We felt very safe. Thank you Alf.

What an amazing apartment. Great location right on the beach, with fantastic views of the sea from the windows. Choice of seating areas with tables, open balcony and enclosed window area. Comfortable beds. Well equipped kitchen. Easy to get to the ‘Witterings’ Chichester Marina etc. We all wished we could have stayed longer. Sam was a great person to liaise with before we arrived, nothing was too much trouble. Thank you Sam.

Wonderful place to base yourself near Chichester. It was cosy but felt spacious for our family of 4. The terrace overlooking the fields made for great mealtimes and an area to relax. Plenty of great places to visit nearby. We particularly enjoyed Bosham (Anchor Bleu for lunch was a standout!), Petworth, Arundel and West Witerring for a blowy beach walk! 5 stars!

Lovely dog friendly cottage. Very cosy and comfortable. We were a little unlucky with the weather but had a relaxing time nevertheless. Lovely walks, Littlehampton beach and Arundel just a short drive away. Sue was lovely and greeted us when we arrived. Overall, lovely stay!

The studio was great, exactly as pictured, and super clean! Charlotte was incredibly responsive and friendly. Would highly recommend staying at the barn if you’re in the area!

We had a great stay at Lydia’s place! The location is perfect - so central and within walking distance of everything. It’s spacious and has lots of nice touches.

Amazing place to stay especially with the peach nearby and lots of friendly people

Finn has chosen stylish furniture and decor for this very well equipped holiday home. The photos show all the rooms accurately but the balcony actually has far more comfortable furniture than the photos show., making it a super place to sit and view the coastline. Due to the bay windows , this flat has more far reaching views than other seafront properties we have stayed in. Also, Finn is an attentive host, on hand to solve any issues that may arise. We thoroughly recommend.

We agreed with all the previous reviews, and would like to add, Elmer is a great place to visit, and the proximity to the beach is fabulous. Robs information was second to none!! The walks were breath taking. Our special visit was Arundel, the castle, gardens, and town were amazing. Ok, now for our one grump, the fridge is a bit small!!! i know, ridiculous but we didn't know whether to put the wine or the milk in the door, so had to drink the wine, and put the milk in the fridge....sorted. By the way, the welcome basket was very much appreciated.

The description of “harbour view / sea view” is a little misleading as the apartment isn’t high enough to offer that and instead looks over the bus/ train station and shopping centre . However , we’d worked that out from the pictures ! That said the location couldn’t be more central . It’s literally across the road to a fantastic shopping centre and the harbour . For the views of the yacht race we booked tickets for the spinnaker tower. The host was extremely helpful and responsive and I would recommend this accommodation and would love to stay there again.

Great location with the bonus of parking on site. Easy to find & quiet surroundings. A great base for exploring Bognor, easy walking distance to prom & the town.

This was perfect for what we needed. Martin was very responsive and really helped with local information.

The Hideaway is a perfect little spot to run away to. it's in an incredibly beautiful spot and super quiet. it's a lovely little walk to the village of Graffham (Cheryl gave us excellent instructions) there is a cute little village shop that does coffees and sells all that you could need. The Forrester's Arms is a lovely pub but we ate at the Woodcote which was excellent. The space is large and comfortable. The sofas are perfect for a nap as they are massive. The bed was huge and incredibly comfortable. The shower was lush as were the faith in nature smelly bits. would completely recommend

Fionas place was a wonderful find. Perfect for a couple, roomy and in a perfect location. On street, unrestricted parking. Will certainly be back.
