His professional experience started at age 14, working at a local fish market and his family's Italian delis. Seeking to expand his culinary expertise, Chef Max moved to the San Francisco Bay Area in 1998. By the age of 23, he had secured his first Chef De Cuisine position, opening a new American brasserie at the Claremont Resort in Berkeley. Just two years later, he assumed his first Executive Chef role and has continued to lead kitchens for the past 20 years. Currently, Chef Max is focusing on personal and private dining in San Diego County.
