Holiday rentals with a patio in Civitella in Val di Chiana

Tammy and Eme were wonderful hosts. My wife and I booked for quite a long stay as part of a sabbatical in Italy. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Casa al Poggio is in a quiet location, surrounded by spectacular countryside, between two small towns, each charming in its own way, and with easy access to both Florence and Siena. Tammy and Eme offered great recommendations regarding places to explore in the local area and a host of tips that helped us get the most out of our stay. We absolutely intend to return and stay with them again.

We had an amazing stay!! The location was superb and the hosts were great. The views were stunning.

This was the most magical place to call home while in Tuscany. Marco communicated really well from the beginning, and was available for any questions you may have had. The bathrooms were so clean, the kitchen was well stocked, there were enough pillows and blankets if you got cold and the air conditioning was perfect for those hot days and as a bonus the wifi worked really well. The swimming pool was only a few steps away and had a breathtaking view as well and was super clean. The sunsets were to die for on the front patio and they even provide a table with an umbrella if you want to dine outdoors. This place was so beautiful and felt like home, it was our favourite place in all of Italy.

Although there were a couple of issues with one tv and the washer dryer, Teona, Ivanna's property manager was always responsive and followed up to see that issues were resolved. We thought that the apartment was very beautiful and the neighborhood felt safe. It was quiet, and some of Ivanna's recommendations for restaurants were pe.rfect. We wouldn't hesitate to come back

Ah-mazing! It is better than the photos! The terrace was simply phenomenal and the stay truly immerses you into the life of Pienza. Leo and Nicco were super friendly and unbelievably helpful. When my husband fell ill they were ready to provide translation to a local doctor! Luckily we didn’t need that after all. Pienza is perfectly based to visit surrounding towns. Their farm tour and lunch was spectacular. I can’t say enough good things and would rate this 10 stars if I could!

Great stay with incredible views. Perfect location for exploring Montepulciano and the surrounds. Parking was easy and everything was really comfortable.

Guilia, Donatella & Antonio were excellent to deal with responding very quickly to any questions. This is the cleanest air b & b I have ever stayed in and very well equipped (lots of coat hangers!!) The view from the patio at the rear of the property is so beautiful and peaceful. All we wanted to do was sit and enjoy the nature. Village centre only 5 minutes by car where there is several restaurants (best to make reservation) of varying price ranges. You can also walk into village. If you cross the main road at the bottom of the track to the air b & b you can walk on a track through the olive trees and come out in the village centre save walking on road). Small but excellent supermarket (closed on Sunday) 10 minute by car. Lots of interesting places to visit nearby. Enjoy your stay.

Alessandro ist ein super netter Typ. Die Unterkunft ist einfach nur traumhaft schön. Der Ausblick ist einmalig und das kleine Haus ist sehr sauber und schön eingerichtet. Wir würden jeder Zeit wieder kommen. Es war einfach ein toller Urlaub und wir haben uns dort wie Zuhause gefühlt

E stata una splendida esperienza, Daniela la proprietaria è una persona meravigliosa, la sua dolce accoglienza ci ha fatto sentire come a casa. Con i suoi splendidi amici a quattro zampe e i suoi dolcissimi cavalli ci ha fatto apprezzare ancora di più il bellissimo contesto naturale in cui eravamo immersi. A pochissimi minuti dal centro di Arezzo e sicuramente un’ottima posizione per chi come noi ama la natura ma apprezza anche la parte storica e più turistica della bellissima Arezzo. Un ottimo connubio direi tra natura e storicità. Grazie alla disponibilità e all impeccabile professionalità di Virginia che ci ha supportato per tutto il soggiorno, con gentilezza e puntualità. Sicuramente un’ esperienza indimenticabile da ripetere anche in primavera quando il paesaggio si trasforma e le giornate più soleggiate ci permetteranno di fare passeggiate e altre attività nella zona. Wir hatten einen wirklich wunderbaren Aufenthalt bei Tamara und Niccolò – vom ersten Moment an haben wir uns wie zu Hause gefühlt. Die beiden sind unglaublich herzliche, aufmerksame und hilfsbereite Gastgeber, immer gut erreichbar und voller großartiger Tipps zur Umgebung. Besonders gefreut hat uns, dass sie ohne Aufpreis unsere Wäsche gewaschen haben – eine wirklich nette und unerwartete Geste. Außerdem warteten zur Begrüßung kostenlose Snacks und Getränke auf uns – ein liebevolles Detail, das sofort für eine angenehme Atmosphäre gesorgt hat. Tamara und Niccolò haben uns tolle Empfehlungen gegeben: schöne Ausflugsziele in der Nähe, eine zuverlässige Scooter-Vermietung und sogar eine Weinverkostung, die zu den Highlights unserer Reise zählte. Die Unterkunft war makellos sauber, gemütlich und mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet – man merkt sofort, wie viel Wert sie auf das Wohl ihrer Gäste legen. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen – absolut empfehlenswert!

Such a peaceful place to stay! The house was spotless, the views were amazing, and the pool was lovely. We had such a lovely time. The local restaurant is a real gem too. Just to note you should buy lots of bottled water (not an issue as the supermarket is v close!) as the tap water isn’t drinkable.

Duddova ist ein kleiner, sehr ruhiger Ort – ideal für alle, die Entspannung und Abgeschiedenheit suchen. Wir durften 3 wundervolle Wochen in Emanuele's liebevoll saniertem Haus verbringen – und es war noch schöner, wie die Fotos es versprechen. Die Räume sind großzügig geschnitten und bieten viel Platz zum Wohlfühlen. Besonders hervorzuheben ist der wunderschöne Garten und der fantastische Ausblick von der Terrasse sowie aus dem Schlafzimmer und Badezimmer. Der Blick über das Tal ist einfach unbezahlbar! Check-in und Check-out waren absolut unkompliziert. Das Grundstück ist sehr privat gelegen und mit viel Liebe zum Detail angelegt – eine echte Oase der Ruhe. Die Lage eignet sich hervorragend, um die Umgebung und die Sehenswürdigkeiten zu erkunden – ein Auto ist dafür allerdings unerlässlich. Beautiful home. Extremely clean. Riccardo was extremely responsive and made our check in process very easy. Definitely would stay again!

Beautiful home in a more secluded area overlooking Lake Trasimeno. The trains and a highway are below but not invasive. The views are beautiful. The home was clean and tastefully updated but still clearly old and had a lot of character. We did not have a car and the train station is an hour walk away. There are a couple buses that pass through but not enough to be a reliable means of getting to and from the house. Even the taxi was busy and we had to be flexible on when we went to the train station but it worked out fine. We walked to and from Tuoro for groceries and visited La Puntabella for a great dinner with a view. It was an adventure and we enjoyed it despite our plan not being very good for this location. Sonia was patient and helpful in working out our means of travel and figuring out the bus schedule. Natolino reminded us of home and he is fun to watch and listen to.

We absolutely loved this Airbnb! The location was perfect - walkable to everything in Florence. The host was very quick to respond and very polite. The apartment itself is very spacious, clean, modern and great for a group of 6. It is a lot of stairs - this was actually a positive thing for us, as we needed a little exercise to burn off all of the pizza consumption haha. But be prepared that you will need to get your suitcases up / down the stairs. Overall we loved this spot and definitely would book it again!

Our stay at Leonardo’s place was absolutely unforgettable! First of all, Leonardo was an exceptional host—by far the best we’ve ever had on Airbnb. He was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help with anything we needed. As a thoughtful gesture, he greeted us with homemade cake on our first day and even shared fresh zucchini from his garden—such a warm and personal touch! The home itself exceeded our expectations; it was even more beautiful than the photos. Every detail was perfect—from the cozy rooms and stunning views to the relaxing pool and the magical fireflies that lit up the night. The entire setting was peaceful, private, and had a wonderfully romantic atmosphere. We truly enjoyed every moment and would 100% recommend this place to anyone looking for a special getaway. Daniela's place in Florence was the perfect balance of a quiet neighborhood and being close to the city center. The apartment was comfortable and clean and was only a 2-3min walk to the tram that takes you right to the city center of Florence where all the iconic sights and food can be reached. The apartment also had had all the necessary amenities for a few nights stay. The laundry machine and drying rack were easily available and were a much appreciated amenity. There was also a lockable, enclosed one car garage reserved for the apartment that we left our car in during our stay. The neighborhood also felt very safe and quiet even at night. Daniela was a great host who was very responsive and friendly and helpful with everything we needed. If you find yourself looking for a place outside the busy city center to stay while in Florence I highly recommend Danielas place!

This AirBnb was so charming and in a perfect location. We enjoyed some downtime in the garden area after a long day of walking. Deanna was extremely helpful and made recommendations for restaurants and sights to see. She was very communicative and helpful.

Carolina’s home is possibly the most beautiful we have ever stayed. From a well stocked kitchen to views of local vineyards, it really has it all. Carolina was responsive and a brilliant host. I can’t wait to make a trip back here!
