Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Clarion River

This is our third stay! We stayed in the colder months and couldn’t wait to stay in June. It rained Friday night but that did not dampen our spirits as we sat under the pavilion and had a great fire going! Saturday was a gorgeous day! We cooked steaks and veggies, another great fire! We told Randy how clean this farmhouse always is, that is so important to us. Randy gave us the history of the farm, he is third generation and is very proud of his piece of land!!! We had coffee on the back deck, I have the Merlin bird app and tracked 12 different birds! Had a bunny friend eating clover by the front door. No deer 🦌 sightings which we had hoped to see. We are going to plan a stay in October, that is how much we love it here! If you want peace and to relax, this farmhouse is the place to do it!

This was one of the most thoughtfully beautiful airbnbs. It was so clean and decorated for the holiday and made me feel like I was at home immediately. I stayed here with my family for a weekend and we barely wanted to leave the house. It was a super cozy with games, a huge comfy couch, and everything you could possibly need to cook a nice family meal. Thank you Robin for such a great stay!

Mark and Tammy’s home is charming and so comfortable for a relaxing stay. The views are beyond breathtaking. You can see the beautiful trees and river and sit out on the back deck and watch the birds soaring. A fantastic place to stay.

My fiancé and I just had an incredible weekend at Carrie’s home! Carrie was so friendly and even offered an early check in and late check out since there was no one coming in today so we could truly make the most of the weekend! She gave us a tour of the property and showed us how to work all of the amenities, dropped off a lighter and some cardboard for the fire pit, offered side by side rides around the property, and offered allergy medicine when my fiancé realized he had forgotten his! The house was impeccably clean, beautifully furnished and decorated, and was so comfortable to stay in! The bathroom was so nice and we loved the design of the kitchen! Outdoors was an incredible hot tub, a beautiful fire pit setting complete with firewood, and a nicely furnished gazebo that was perfect to play cards in when the rain came through! Not only would we stay here again, we will be staying here again, and we even joked about how much it would be to just rent and move in full time!

The cottage in Kittanning worked out great for me. I had local family business to get done and I wanted to stay in or around town not in Pittsburgh to get it done. The house was a good value and as described on the website. It was easy to get in from the lockbox and had a nice kitchen to make breakfast while I was there. It was easy to walk along the riverfront in Kittanning as well. I would use them again when I need to be in the area.

Roeshel’s place was just as lovely as pictured-and described. She gave full details and was quick to respond, and was the complete package of hospitality. My son and I enjoyed the time spent in the downtown of Butler, and relaxing in SuiteThyme. This is a must visit spot that I am glad to have visited and stayed. I hope to come back and stay again.

Always our go to place to stay when in the area. Perfect hosts.

My husband and I chose Bonnie’s place for our anniversary weekend getaway. Bonnie responded quickly to all the questions regarding directions, restaurants and even called a kayak/canoe rental place to let me know they wouldn’t be open till later due to high waters from rain. Her place is close to restaurants and a scenic 25 minute drive to Cooks Forest. Check-in went smoothly. She gave us a tour of our rental space. The garage entrance led to the billboard room, few steps down to our rental space, living room, kitchen, bathroom. Bedroom was separate from living room/kitchen area. Hot tub was in a covered porch with windows and views of the backyard. She had muffins and a Happy Anniversary sign which was sweet. Her place was cozy and comfortable. The hot tub was relaxing after a day of hiking. She offered her husband to start a fire for us but we ran out of time. We enjoyed our weekend getaway and feel it’s a great deal for all the amenities with the price.

Very large space, open and relaxing. Apartment is up two flights of stairs in the rear of a commercial building, listening states this and was no issue for us as we liked the convenience of not having to drive to Cranberry for a hotel. Would definitely stay again!!

Loved the peace and quiet from the stay here....would recommend for anyone to stay a relax....she was very helpful to make sure the stay was exactly as described.

always look forward to returning back on Mondays. Just wish I didn't have to go home on weekends. The town has a lot going on with activities like concerts ,car cruse in car museum along with the older pretty homes on the river

Beautiful apartment style housing. Accommodations look just like the pictures. Brenda and her husband were friendly and inviting and their fur babies were extra sweet. Brenda thought of the little things, which enhanced the experience. Would recommend this Airbnb without hesitation (and I’m picky!).

They have done a fabulous job with this historic renovation! You can feel the history of the space, and have all of the modern amenities needed for a wonderful stay.
