Cabin holiday rentals in Clarksburg

We really enjoyed our time in the cabin! We made use of the hot tub and the fire pit. We walked down to the lake and it was very scenic. The house is quite nice and cozy. The beds were perfectly fine. I really enjoyed the reading nook that's tucked away around a corner and appreciated the kitchen and its accoutrements. The only thing I really didn't like was the road down to the cabin and, more so, the drive back out. We successfully navigated this in our Toyota Camry, but really, I'd have been a lot more comfortable in a 4 wheel drive SUV or truck.

The cabin was beautiful! Small & cozy, perfect for a weekend away. The location was easy to find & check in was seamless. The cabin & hot tub were both extremely clean. Has everything you’d need for a long weekend. The host was friendly & proactive with check in & check out instructions. Would definitely stay again!

We had an amazing stay! Close to Davis, Thomas, Dolly sods by any standards. Close to Seneca rocks, spruce knob and Nelson rocks by WV standards, lol. Everything was comfortable and clean, we loved the swing on the screened in porch! Make sure to call restaurants to confirm hours, Google/Apple Maps information wasn’t always accurate, but we found plenty to do and eat!

If you want seclusion, this is the place for you. Very quiet, seen deer in the back yard two days in a row. The master bed is extremely comfortable. Does have stone driveway, and if you want any groceries stop on the way. Wifi worked great. Overall great place to stay!

Better than we expected, this place was a tranquil destination. Pictures do not do it justice, the babbling brook, beautiful setting, community pond (with Koi fish), peaceful decks and comfy furnishings easily make this a 5 star air bnb! We will be back!! Thank you for giving us a quiet place to unwind and close enough to enjoy all the DCL area has to offer!

Always enjoy our stay each year... and was perfect as it has been each time. It is cozy, just as it is supposed to be. The location and the quiet, private nature of it is awesome. Love the simple nature of it, and love the amenities! See ya again soon!

Jeremy’s cabin was clean, comfortable and had everything I needed. I loved the location as well. I stayed in this community several times before so I knew what to expect and it was just as wonderful as I remembered. The deck and hot tub were my favorite, especially after a day outside hiking. I traveled solo and this was the peace and quiet I needed — a great getaway from my stressful job in Baltimore.

It was an absolute treat to stay in Ammar's Airbnb! Excellent location, beautiful view both inside and out. Ammar was prompt in their responses when we had questions, making the overall experience fun and wonderful. Will be booking again next year!

I loved Shelley's cabin. It was perfect for the two of us and our two dogs. The kitchen had everything we needed, and the bed was comfortable (including the pillows!), though we didn't use it I was impressed with the firewood being on the front porch with the ability to send payment by phone to pay for it as that is something that can always be frustrating to go and get when traveling sometimes. The hot tub was hot and relaxing although it was missing all the headrests haha. We took a tour of Trans Alleghany Lunatic Asylum on this trip but would consider coming back just to stay at this cabin for a weekend getaway! Thanks so much for everything!

We absolutely loved Greg's place!! 😍 It was nice to go off grid and have a peace without the electronic world always connected.

We really enjoyed our stay at The Trails at Files Creek! It was our first time staying in a tiny cabin and I was pleasantly surprised. It had everything we needed and the amenities were great. It was cozy and we all felt right at home, even our pup! We appreciated the peace and quiet that came with the location, as well as hiking the trails. It was a great weekend away!

Very thoughtful and considerate host. Snacks provided along with eggs, juice, milk and bottled water. Even dog treats for the dog. Enjoyed our stay very much.

Hummingbirds visited throughout the day, adding magic to an already peaceful stay. The river was stunning and calming, perfect for morning coffee or evening reflection. The house was spotless, thoughtfully decorated with a consistent, charming theme. We loved how secluded and private the location felt, yet we were just a short drive from great restaurants, cozy coffee shops, and outdoor adventures. A perfect blend of nature and comfort—would definitely return!

Abrams Creek is a great place for a quiet, private, beautiful rustic cabin camping experience. The grounds were fantastic, from the moment you pass the check-in you are immediately in the woods. At the cabin itself you feel like you are alone in the woods next to a peaceful stream. The cabin was comfortable and plenty warm with the propane heating, and having a dedicated port-a-potty right next to our site made bio-breaks much more convenient than if you had to walk to a central bathhouse. Highly recommend Abrams Creek!

It was an awesome weekend! the cabin was clean, view was beautiful, very peaceful spot. Cheryl was an excellent host! It was the first vacation we had that we didn't feel the need to recover from lol

The cabin is beautiful. It is definitely not for people taller than 5'5 there is not much space between the floor and ceiling. The decorations are absolutely gorgeous. It was pretty quiet however there were a lot of other cabins/houses on the property which is not listed in the details of the ad. The hot tub didn't stay hot so we only used it once. I would definitely recommend fixing it or replacing it for future guests. Other than those two minor details Skippers cabin is a great place to stay for a weekend getaway.

Anthony was an amazing host and was so helpful in the communication process and booking and assisting us with all of our questions. This air b and b is absolutely beautiful and so much thought and intention put into the design and the surroundings in the woods added to the aura. The hot tub, sauna, and all the wonderful amenities made this getaway a dream. Such a comfortable bed and we had everything we needed. Thank you so much for hosting us we made many unforgettable memories at your gorgeous chalet!!

The cabin was great for our stay. We spent most of the time hiking outdoors which the cabin is located close to many trails. You could also hike right from the cabin if you wanted to. It is close to multiple covered bridges. The cabin had everything we needed. We did bring our own drinking water. The river behind the house is very cool to look at and listen to. Aaron was great asking if we needed anything or had any questions. The Wi-Fi was amazing. Super fast and no issues at all streaming shows and movies.

It was our first time camping, and we had an amazing time. The forest was beautiful and our kids had a blast playing in the river. Vince and his friends were very outgoing and made us feel right home. Thanks for everything!

Beautiful little cabin located about a mile off the main road. Low clearance vehicles will have difficulty accessing it (I drive a Honda Civic), but Pansy shuttled me up and down the hill. It really is off grid, I didnt have cell service or wifi but that is exactly what I wanted when I booked it. Highly recommend booking this cabin if you want a nice weekend away from the world!

Loved staying at Michelle and Tony’s cabin! A great rural getaway with all the amenities of and modern conveniences one could hope for. Spectacular views, quiet/private location. Great yard in which to roam and play. The cabin itself is super-clean, comfy bedding and linens. Plenty of A/C (or windows if you choose). Fast wifi, plentiful hot water (and clean - no sulfur odor is always a plus!), multiple smart tvs if you want. Well-stocked, modern kitchen including filtered ice/water dispenser in fridge - no need to haul jugs from the store. 2-in-1 coffee maker incl coffee and all the fixins. Personal touches abound. Fun stuff outside, incl yard games. These are very thoughtful hosts who are friendly and responsive, they provide a great guidebook which includes lots of recommendations for area eateries. (Definitely recommend a visit to Screech Owl.) Would totally recommend this stay!

The place was clean and it was exactly how it was described. It matched the pictures. It is somewhat secluded, but you can still see other places standing on the front porch, which for us wasn't a big deal. Some people might think so. I felt like the place was well worth the money. It was a wonderful stay. We really enjoyed it
