Laurence’s house was one of favourite holiday stays ever: a big beautiful house with a super special ambience, an amazing view, a fairy-tale garden and loads of wonderful activities to do nearby. Brilliant tips and wonderful communication with Laurence, too.

We hebben een heerlijk verblijf gehad. Het is een mooi huisje vlakbij de bossen. Binnen een paar minuten stond je midden in de natuur. Heerlijk! Ook prima uitvalsbasis om Bastogne of grotten te bezoeken. De dagen dat wij er waren was het best fris en guur maar daar had je in de woning geen last van. Goed geïsoleerd en lekker warm. Al met al een aanrader.

Die Unterkunft ist qualitativ hochwertig, sehr geschmackvoll und modern eingerichtet, hat einen wundervollen privaten Garten, und die Aussicht auf das Tal unterhalb des Ortes ist grossartig . Benoit und Sonia waren gut erreichbar und wirklich freundlich. Alles in allem sehr empfehlenswert fuer einen Kurzurlaub zu zweit!

Unser Aufenthalt war vom Anfang bis zum Ende super. Die Kommunikation mit Christian war schnell, leicht und unkompliziert. Er war immer sehr nett und hilfsbereit und hat sich um alle Fragen und Anliegen super gekümmert. Wir waren mit 7 Erwachsenen und 2 Kindern dort, es war immer ausreichend Platz für alles und es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Wir hatten einen schönen Urlaub in einem sehr schönen und nett eingerichtetem Haus mit tollen Spiel Möglichkeiten für groß und klein. Das lokale Bier aus der Nachbarschaft war auch sehr lecker 😅 Wir kommen gerne wieder und empfehlen jedem die schöne Unterkunft und Christian als Gastgeber weiter. Schöne Grüße aus NRW.

Un magnifique week-end chez Stéphane et Dominique. Nous regrettons de ne pas avoir prolongé notre séjour pour profiter de l’endroit et des environs. Petit brunch sympa et paisible le dimanche matin sur la terrasse. Notre fille qui s’est mariée la veille a apprécié le calme et la nature paisible après cet événement festif ! Nous recommandons vivement le Gîte du Commandant 🙏

Wij verbleven met een groep van 7 personen in de gîte. Florence gaf een rondleiding en uitleg door het huis bij het sleutel ophalen. Het huis was ontzettend schoon, zowel de ruimtes als de (keuken) spullen. In alle badkamers en keuken stond zeep en handdoekjes. Er zijn badhanddoeken beschikbaar en keukendoeken. De gîte is ontzettend compleet. Parkeer ruimte voor meerdere auto's. Goed onderhouden. Er is een heerlijke tuin met veel ruimte voor insecten. Tuinstoelen zijn aanwezig en een bbq. De woonkeuken is lekker ruim en goed om te zitten. De woonkamer is niet heel erg groot met meerdere banken waardoor het vrij vol is. Maar dat maakt het ook wel gezellig. Zeker met de openhaard aan! Wel is het meubilair zwart, wat het erg donker maakt. 2 Fijne badkamers. Ook is het huis best gehorig omdat de vloeren van hout zijn. Maar daar wel je snel aan. Een erg fijn groot huis om te verblijven.

The arrangement of the apartment, with a view from the living area out onto a balcony and the river beyond, is stunning- you don’t need a TV because there is always something to see! The apartment has everything that you need to be very comfortable. We greatly enjoyed discovering nearby villages on walks. This kept us busy for 4 days with lots left for another visit….

Das Haus von Françoise und Thierry war rundum wunderbar: Die Einrichtung, die Ausstattung, der Garten, alles! Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt - was nicht auch zuletzt an der sehr angenehmen Kommunikation mit den Beiden lag.

This is a lovely place to use as a base for exploring Wallonia. Namur, Dinant, Liege, Durbuy, even Luxembourg can be day trips from here. The surroundings are beautiful and Gauthier and family are super warm hosts. The breakfast goodies and chocolates provided was a lovely touch. Highly recommend the stay

Rund um die Unterkunft gibt es nicht viel. Im Ort befindet sich jedoch ein Supermarkt. Wir wurden sehr nett empfangen und haben eine kleine Wohnungsführung und Erklärung zu allem erhalten. Nicht nur die Einfahrt und das gesamte Grundstück sind ein echtes Highlight, auch die Wohnung an sich ist super schön und hat Charme. Wir haben uns direkt wohl gefühlt. Schöner kleiner Garten mit Sitzgelegenheiten und natürlich dem tollen Whirlpool. Was vielleicht fehlt ist ein Sonnenschirm, dass ist aber auch das Einzige was wir bemängeln könnten. Christian ist ein toller Gastgeber und war stets zu erreichen. Wir danken für ein wunderschönes Wochenende und kommen gerne wieder.

Super schöne, saubere und ordentliche Unterkunft. Ich habe mich wie Zuhause gefühlt. Die Gegend ist etwas langweilig, da muss man etwas fahren, wenn man was unternehmen will. Aber sonst schön ruhig, um dem Stress zu entfliehen.

Really beautiful place with a wonderful view. We were very comfortable during our stay. The host was very friendly and helpful, always proactive and available to be contacted. She went out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed. The location was perfect for our weekend motorcycling trip. Wonderful curvy roads all around. Definitely recommend.

Volltreffer, 100 % Empfehlung. Älteres Haus, aber das Appartement war Kernsarniert, modernisiert. Neuwertig, für einen Städtetrip, ich war von Mittwoch - Samstag da, perfekt. Gute Lage, wer mit dem Zug anreist hat 3 minuten zu Fuß. Parken ist etwas schwierig. Lara und Thibout habe ich leider nicht kennengelernt da sie bei An- und Abreise nicht da waren. Aber dank Schlüsselkasten alles kein Problem. Ich hatte das Appartement auf der 2. Etage, das hat einen kleinen Balkon - echt super. Würde auf jeden Fall wieder dort buchen.

Très bon séjour, weekend passé a Liège, Kevin est très réactif dans ses réponse ce qui peut être très pratique :) Le logement est très charmant, décoré avec goût, on s'y sent bien ! Merci encore

Séjour très agréable dans un beau studio et environnement. L'emplacement près des grands axes routiers et de la ville d'Aywaille étant idéal pour les visites.

Airbnb propre, rangé, avec une jolie décoration. Mention spéciale pour la vue du balcon qui est très agréable. Les instructions par rapport à l’entrée ainsi que le Check out étaient très claires et précises. Merci à vous ! Nous reviendrons !

We had a great time with our baby!

Thank you very much for your big heart and really nice time in your apartment. We arrived in the middle of the night, and despite this we received help with parking the car, Catherine took a parking space for us. The apartment was clean, cozy, Catherine also left for us delicious fresh bread for breakfast every morning. The kitchen was fully equipped. Additionaly we had our bikes with us for lbl chalange and another important thing was to store the bikes inside the house which wasn’t a problem. We had great time and I hope to see You again Catherine.

We had a truly lovely and memorable experience staying at Marylene’s lovely home. She is a wonderful, generous and welcoming host. Marylene even offered to pick us up and drop us off in her car from the bus station, which was incredibly thoughtful since we had couple of suitcases to lug around. The home is located in a scenic and beautiful spot; we fell in love with it the moment we arrived. It’s cozy and very comfortable for two people for short stays, the space is ideal for one person for longer stays. It’s also accessible on foot to the city centre and there are couple of bikes in her shed that she readily offers for your use. Although we only stayed one night, Marylene’s place made us wish we had more time there, and explore the many walking trails around Malmedy. You can really feel the love and care she’s put into creating such a warm, inviting home. Must stay!

Excellent accueil de la part de Claire. Le logement est vaste dans un cadre champêtre très reposant. Nous avons apprécié la localisation permettant beaucoup de visites touristiques aux alentours. Nous espérons y revenir...

I truly recommend Pierre's place to anyone that comes in the area. The Airbnb is big, well equipped, private and quiet. The bed is a pull-out sofa, but it's very comfortable and we had a good night sleep. We arrived later than expected (~23:00), but Pierre waited for us, and even gave us the full tour and local recommendations even though it couldn't have been comfortable at that time. Above and beyond. 5 stars
