The Barn is a unique old stone barn but modern, with an open plan sitting/kitchen/ eating area with cathedral ceiling and a long narrow window overlooking the Salt Lake to one side, a small window looking down to the sea on the other. There are two bedrooms and a wet room style bathroom (no bathtub) but plenty of hot water and underfloor heating. It is wonderfully quiet, a real retreat for those who just want to escape. Hi speed fibre optic internet. Sorry, not suitable for pets or children

Located on The Town Square is our compact studio dating back to 1838 enjoys a southerly aspect and direct access to a private terraced patio with BBQ and original stone steps lead to the garden which has great views of Clifden Harbour. On our doorstep there are many bars, restaurants and shops. This studio is a real home from home where one can cook in the kitchen and sit by our solid fuel stove. We have a cast iron bath and an overhead electric shower where one can soak after a days touring

Cosy Cottage

Kick back and relax in this calm, cosy space in the rolling countryside and just a 40 minute drive from Knock Airport. For something more lively there’s Westport and Castlebar, with their shops, bars and the beautiful coastline and beaches of the Wild Atlantic Way. The 2 friendly cats, Muffin and Bruce, prefer to live outside but like to say hello. When not away working, I stay in a chalet on a separate piece of land close by but not overlooking the cottage. I do respect guest privacy.
