Our studio apt is in the heart of Carraroe, 10 min walk will get you to the village where you'll find pubs, restaurant, shop, chemist and library, there's 4 beaches, the unique coral beach ( Tra an Doilin) is only a 3 minute drive or a scenic 20-25 minute walk ,well worth the walk, 10 min drive will get you to Ros a' mhíl (Rossaveal) port where you can get a ferry to the Aran Islands, we have high speed internet in the apt, you can catch a bus frequently to Galway city down on the main strip

We are situated in the rural,quiet parish of Ros Muc. There is a pier just 2 minutes walk, surrounded by the twelve Bens. We are 30 minutes away from beautiful beaches,which is situated on the wild Atlantic Way. We are near Rossaveel harbour(30 minutes)where a ferry leaves to the Aran Islands. Pearse's Cottage is also situated nearby. Kylemore Abbey is 45 minutes, where you can have an enjoyable meal and walk around the beautiful grounds. Also Diamond Hill where you have beautiful views.

A truly special spot, this luxurious lodge is close to Ballyvaughan but tucked in the trees with a view of the turlough, red squirrels, and sparrow hawks. The Castle rests on about half an acre of land with Ballindooley Lake lying to the south west. It is surrounded by low walls and hedges: with a gated entrance controlled by an electronic security system. Features include 3 murders holes and a dungeon The castle was built by the DeBurgo family (approximately 1480). It had the distinction of being shelled by the British Gunboat ” Helga” during the1916 Rising to disband rebels
