Muckruss Lodge Clonakilty An Oasis of Tranquility
Nestled between the rolling hills and only minutes from the coastline in the heart of West Cork is our delightful Gate Lodge. The newly built lodge sits at the entrance to our home Muckruss House. The Lodge is situated on its original site which dates back to the 16th Century when it was the home to the Gatekeeper of Muckruss. It is still very much part of local history which is why we have retained its historic charm while at same time creating an air of modern sophistication within .

The Cabin
This unique tiny house is an inviting & creative space, located along the Wild Atlantic Way - exactly 1/2 way between the 2017 Urbanism award winning town of Clonakilty and the renowned beach Inchydoney which is known for being one of the most beautiful and relaxing beaches in West Cork. Built using native Douglas fir & surrounded by trees, the cabin is located on the grounds of a small residential home where guests will have their own separate outdoor decking and privacy.

The Coach House is an ideal spot for a romantic hideaway on the Wild Atlantic Way. The mezzanine bedroom boasts a kingsize sleigh bed , overlooking a cosy sitting room with a wood-burning stove for warming your hands and feet after a walk on the beach or a dip in the sea. For small families the sofa in the sitting room converts into a comfortable single bed. Outside the traditional coach house doors is a stone paved terrace, garden furniture & steps down to a sunken garden

A converted stable, only 400 metres walk into the beautiful town of Clonakilty, with a fully equipped open plan kitchen/relaxing and comfortable sitting room, smart tv (STREAMING ONLY- no terrestrial channels) and high speed wifi. Tea and coffee are provided. The double bedroom is upstairs. PLEASE NOTE: The Stone Stables is unsuitable for children and infants. MINIMUM AGE: 25 Government ID will be required upon booking. No parties or smoking.
