Cabin holiday rentals in Cloudcroft

Eric was exceptional at keeping in touch with us! He had some great recommendations and we felt right at home. It was private feeling though other cabins were around and nature surrounded us. We were auditioned to see deer and elk right in the neighborhood that showed no signs of alarm as we watched them! We were on the go a lot so didn’t get to enjoy ALL the amenities provided, but had a wonderful experience and would definitely recommend to anyone looking to escape for a few days or longer! We will use again and bring family!

A Stay Above The Rest was the perfect weekend home away from home for my family. The listing was accurate and looked exactly like the pictures. The only thing I could recommend is to bring your own coffee, as the only coffee grounds available were decaf, and even then that is just personal preference! The hot tub was a relaxing plus to our stay. The beds were comfortable, the house itself was cozy, the kitchen was good, although there are enough good restaurants in town to eat at during your stay to not have to cook. We would rebook again!

We absolutely loved staying in this cabin. The location is easy to get to, yet secluded enough to feel like it’s in the trees. The patio is where we spent the majority of our time grilling and just hanging out. The kitchen is beautiful and has all the essentials for cooking a great meal, or just having a morning coffee. The bedroom downstairs was a pleasant surprise for our inlaws, it was private and it allowed them to have time away from the “main” part of the house. This cabin is cozy and exactly what we were looking for. The communication from the host was phenomenal. When we come back to Ruidoso, we will definitely be staying here. Thank you SO much.

The host was very responsive and helpful. Great location. The home is in walking distance of Downtown Ruidoso. The hot tub was so nice and relaxing. It was a very nice stay.

The cabin was lovely, comfortable, and well-maintained, creating a very welcoming atmosphere. The view is beautiful, and the porch is a delightful spot to enjoy your morning coffee.

If you’re looking for a peaceful and relaxing getaway this is it! The cabin is very cozy in the middle of the forest. The bed is very comfortable, comfy recliners, and full kitchen. Some things to keep in mind; the parking situation is fairly tricky and a steep walk but you get used to it after a while. The stair case inside is a little scary at first but then you get used to it. We did lose water on our last day but Matt was very helpful and responsive. Matt was great at communicating with us.

The location of this house to the main shopping and restaurant could not have been more convenient. We enjoyed the walking distance as well as just a few minutes drive to the Grindstone lake and Mescalero lake. The hot tub was a bonus to end the day!

Loved every second, loved waking up to a beautiful view just wish there was more privacy (window curtains in bedroom). Responsive team, great host.

Our stay at Sticks N Stones was everything and more! Beautiful clean cabin! Had everything we needed from kitchen essentials, clean towels and linens. The beds were comfortable! The shower was great! My favorite part was the beautiful fenced backyard! We took our pups and it was absolutely perfect for them. The sitting on the deck enjoying nature noises and watching the stars was great! I can’t not forget the couch! It was so comfy! Andria was a great host! Thank you so much for having us! I will be back! <3

We loved our stay in this cute, clean, charming cabin. And we loved our dawn and dusk visitors: a small herd of elk! The setting is gorgeous—our favorite times were sitting on the spacious back deck in super-comfy chairs watching the sky change above the pine forest. Susan kept in touch with us ahead of check-in since we likely wouldn’t have cellphone service (we didn’t), so that I could take screen shots of the check-in instructions (super easy) and the wi-fi password. Wise move! One caveat for the less-nimble: the stairs leading up to the beautiful top floor bedroom are a bit short and steep, so be very careful, especially at the top where it ends partway into a narrow hallway. It made my husband very nervous, but we kept a light on and moved slowly. Not an issue for most people, I’m sure, but be mindful.

We brought a family of four (two toddlers) and dogs and absolutely loved it! If you need to get away from everything and recharge, this is the place! We'll definitely be back again!

The perfect combination of comfort and mountain seclusion. Lots of comfortable sleeping and relaxing space. We loved the decor, modern amenities and abundance of blankets! We had nice family walks in the forest and scenic drives to nearby areas. Jeanene was very communicative. We’ve already booked to come back :-)

We had a wonderful time at Nicole’s cabin. The hot tub was just what we needed and the sauna just put it over the top! It was easy to use and so relaxing. Thank you Nicole!

Beautiful cabin in a wonderful location! We loved watching the elk and deer come through everyday from the deck. The cabin had all the amenities we needed to enjoy a week long vacation! Would definitely stay again!

The house worked well for our family! We all had our own space, but we also had a great spot for gathering on the patio and in the main living area. The patio furniture was so nice for breakfast and for just sitting and listening to the birds.

We had a really nice stay at this cabin! The space was surprisingly clean for a mountain home—no cobwebs and everything worked just as it should. There was plenty of room for everyone to relax and spread out, which made it really comfortable. The fenced backyard was a great idea, but our medium-sized dogs managed to find their way out a few times, which may have led to some unexpected visits to the neighbors—something to keep in mind if you’re bringing pets. One of the highlights was the wildlife—deer came right up to the front door like they were used to being greeted, which was such a fun touch. The road leading in has a rough patch on the first turn if you’re coming from the far end of town, but it’s manageable with a little caution. Overall, we really enjoyed our time here and loved the peaceful mountain setting. A great spot to unwind!

Exactly as described. Tastefully decorated and spotless. Absolutely loved taking a shower and sliding into a bed that was warmed by the Serta mattress heater. Comfy! Easy and beautiful walk into town. Seeing the feral horses and elk on my walk.Amazing. Will come again Hopefully later in the summer. Thank you.

Rolando has created a very well thought out place in the mountains. It looks like your standard rustic cabin from the outside but once you step inside you start to see all the upgraded renovations. Also the front porch was a great place to watch the sun slip over the mountain. All in all we had a great stay.

We stayed for only 2 nights but wished we would have stayed more! We absolutely loved everything about this place. We were with 2 adults and 1 child and it was perfect: everything was there, the outside area is amazing and Meredith was incredibly helpful and accommodating. 10/10 would stay again!

We have stayed at many air b and bs over the years and this would have to rate as one of the best.
